Crowd Heckles McCain During MLK Speech

thinkprogress.org — During McCain's MLK speech today, some in the crowd said, “We forgive you,” but many others began loudly objecting to McCain’s comments, while others said, “We forgive you.” CNN reporter Soledad O’Brien called it “a little bit of heckling.” Watch the video.

  • hawkeye17, on 04/04/2008, -0/+5And McCain wasn't smart enough to realize that having a black man hold his umbrella during a speech on the anniversary of MLKs death, a speech to a mostly black crowd, might possibly look bad. This guy has no chance to win in November simply because he's a walking greasefire as a candidate.
