AMERICAN'S are granted certain INALIENABLE RIGHTS by a thing called a CONSTITUTION, which is convenient in a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC.
The fact of this matter is that a qualified person (any American citizen, according to the 1st amendment of said Constitution), with further press credentials certifying and allowing his presence and ability to ask questions was removed from the post-debate events, simply for engaging in the very purpose derived from his, and many others in his same proverbial shoes; to ask questions based on political, social, and national curiosities which satisfy the ever-growing curiosity of a nation growing ever-curious. I'm glad you asked. The false pretense was that he was criminally trespassing at the convention, even though he displayed his press badge when asked for his documentation. Also, refusing to walk away from someone is not against the law. He wasn't asked to leave, either. The press secretary just told him to get away from him. Then the press secretary turned back to him and continued to speak with him.

How did Giuliani know that when never in history had skyscrapers fallen due to fire? Matt Lepacek stood his ground with courage while he asked Giuliani's staff a hard question. Obviously, Giuliani's staff is not trained on how to handle situations where the truth about something as important as to what went on 9/11 comes up. They had to have him arrested to get him out of the way. It's a sad day in America when a journalist cannot ask a legitimate question about a highly sensitive topic without going to jail for it.
