- TheSpaceballs, on 11/19/2008, -0/+9Don't forget at 23, the officer wasn't "some kid". He was a fully legal adult over 21 years of age. We're going to redefine "teen" next and lengthen juvenile periods?
- WmWallace, on 11/19/2008, -0/+5The father of the girl needs to find this POS and kick his ass!!!!
- spinningplates2, on 11/19/2008, -0/+4Welcome to the real world, cops are not all good. Face the music for being stupid.
- fromthecoast, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3When 23 year olds want to be seen as fully adult they take offense at being called kids.
when they are in trouble they resort to calling themselves "young kids". Sad, pathetic .
This was not stupid, it was cruel and abusive and evil. - inactive, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2Idiots like this give all cope a bad name.
- JuanitoVerde, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2He should wield his power by concentrating on arrests in nudist colonies; there, no one would be offended.
- Erniethegreat, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2Wrong. It wasn't "a stupid mistake" and it wasn't by "a kid." It was a criminal act of sexual assault, perpetrated by an adult who is trained in matters of criminal behavior. Simply losing his job as punishment for such a criminal act reenforces the disdain we are all getting toward the police, as strong supporters of the "good old boy" syndrome. This is an outrage.
- Qerq, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2Protect and serve, is this even a valid motto for police
more like dumb and dumber just like the rest of gov't - MarineVeteran1, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2Ernie, you hit the nail on the head. This little sh*t knew what he did was wrong, and he used his position as a police officer to commit that wrong. This type of crap doesn't deserve any mercy whatsoever because it was intentional, blatant, and sadly enough, forced on that young woman. False arrest is bad enough in a civil court, but this needs to be handled in criminal court too. These types of incidents if left unchecked can lead to far worse crimes. Just imagine if this was done by some gang-banger at a school, mall, etc., using the same type of intimidation. I will GUARANTEE this would not be labeled or handled as if it were some sort of prank.
I say hang'm by his pair from the highest yard arm and let him swing in the wind because it is absurd for any cop to actually think he/she can get away with this bullsh*t.
To me, this wasn't a cop; this was a punk with a badge and a gun. I'm angry that he has brought dishonor to the police. I know too many cops personally, and I know none of them would ever think of doing something this appalling. - knotjammin2, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1This cop and any that defend him need their asses kicked. He is just lucky that it wasn't my daughter. What a piece of work. This cop needs the Louisville Slugger Therapy.
- Christianptriot, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Apparently there is no more morality or integrity in many portions of our society.
