Conyers Is Blocking Impeachment
afterdowningstreet.org — Conyers' notion is to hold non-impeachment hearings on "the imperial presidency" and run out the clock. I guess that would be sort of like a dozen police officers paying a non-arresting visit to the home of a mass murderer. Seriously? An "imperial" president, and you don't impeach him, and you don't retire or commit suicide? This baffles me.

- kemp34, on 07/25/2008, -0/+7I heard he was potentially compromised.
- ap0616, on 07/25/2008, -0/+8That douche likely has something to lose if the ***** hits the fan proper.
- FrankHope, on 07/25/2008, -0/+7It looks like Conyers is being monitored closeley by AIPAC. The head counsel of the committee is the one that Nader complained about in his letter. His name is Perry Appelbaum. He just happens to be Jewish. Likewise Subcommittee on the Constitution Chairman Jerrold Nadler. He represents Manhattan. My opinion is that they don't want to impeach Bush because he is the most pro-Israel Lobby President ever. Which is saying a lot.
- Fangsinmybeard, on 07/25/2008, -0/+6I guess there is a distinct effort to trigger a national revolt against the un-elected leadership. Does Israel plan to suffer from triggering another global cold war. Does Israel have no Fascist shame for seeking it's own demise?
- JKap, on 07/25/2008, -0/+5Two sides of the same coin. The senility of Conyers is but one symptom of the fraudulent left-right plague of the Bilateral War Party. The "Democrats" are just as culpable of the Bush Laden Family crimes as are the "Republicans" and Conyers is demonstrating just that.
Let us recall that they spent $40 million impeaching the globalist Bill Clinton for lying about getting a little head and only $15 million for the "official" exposition into the events of 9/11, the 9/11 Commission. - CoolHandLuke70, on 07/25/2008, -0/+3then impeach Conyers!
