- PlagueOfMorons, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3This pretty much says the regime plans to stay in office past time of elections. The most likely way is strike Iran, declare martial law 'in the name of preventing terrorist activity during wartime", and once that's in that, nullify Congress with the Annexes and related Exercutive Orders. With the public controlled with martial law, we will be unable to do anything to protest and reverse the destruction of our representative system. Who gains? 1) the regime, the treasonous criminals in highest office who benefited immensely from 9/11 and who have been systematically trying to take down the Constitution since then, and 2) the murderous state we support in the middle east, whose lobbyists have perverted our political system for its gain. It would love to see a police state here whose military is now free to be deployed in its favor, without any control by the people of the US.
