- kemp34, on 07/25/2008, -1/+10So far, everyone aside from him has been on point. One apologist with head-in-ass opposed to 8-10 folks with reason and awareness.
- Jimmyb207, on 07/25/2008, -1/+13For the most part, Bush has been getting torn to shreds!

Stephen Presser: "People open to this (impeachment) must be extremely bitter"????
How about people who question and speak out against an unjust WAR are people who still retain the ability to THINK for themselves !!!
ALWAYS, ALWAYS QUESTION AUTHORITY !!!! - 2bsbc, on 07/25/2008, -2/+4Gohmert is an amazing tool. Anyone listening to this moron spin the Clinton/Bush connection?
- Lawofnations, on 07/25/2008, -5/+1I guess I tuned in late. These proceedings are about exciting as watching paint dry. All for a good cause though!

- Minarchian, on 07/25/2008, -1/+8I don't trust these people.
Something tells me that they'll use this hearing to garner ideas to give yet MORE power to the Executive Branch.
It'll take a few weeks, but somewhere down the line there will be a new bill put forward that uses ideas from this hearing to give the President more power.
These weasels know how to work the system and using a hearing like this will give them ideas. - MorganMghee, on 07/25/2008, -1/+4Watching now!
- MorganMghee, on 07/25/2008, -1/+6Rep. Dan Lungren makes the mistake of using a previous presidents reliance on poor intelligence and it's poor results to imply intelligence is never solid, (a fog he called it) and Bush's situation was no different. What this actually does is draw attention to the fact that intelligence has long been known to be foggy (actually, it's only known to be foggy when it suits them, it is 'practically fact' when it suits them also and this is how our intelligence is portrayed to other nations and clearly explains why his other argument that 'other countries were on board with the intelligence also') and so such a monumental decision to begin a war with a country that HAS NOT ATTACKED US should not have been made on such 'foggy' information based on our previous experiences.
And as a BTW, complaining about the high emotions displayed by the witnesses is despicable in this situation Senator Lungren. Had you and your colleagues been doing their jobs for the American people no doubt we would have stayed complacently in our homes. It's a tough go getting us out of our chairs to even vote for you, when something goes so horribly wrong as to bring citizens not only out of their chairs and homes but out of their cities and states to your doorstep you should recognize it and accept it as the consequences of your own inaction. And do not forget, Sir, WE are the majority and your job is to follow OUR lead. If we are up in arms, so should YOU be. - Izult, on 07/25/2008, -1/+6Find out if your state allows for a process to recall your reps/senators and get the ball rolling. It's not just the presidency that needs a house cleaning though it's a good start.
- lazerus9, on 07/25/2008, -1/+5I think Professor Schwarz should be the new Attorney General!
- AlwaysAwake, on 07/26/2008, -1/+3Bush is on record saying the Constitution "is just a piece of paper". With the laws on the books now, and his signed Presidential Executive Orders in hand, expect a Bush Dictatorship to be announced, after the Israeli attack on Iran starting World War III, sends oil prices through the roof, crashes the worthless fiat "money as debt" Federal Reserve Note Dollar, and the US Economy. Martial Law will be declared, and we can all bend over and kiss our butts Goodbye.
- tomjeff08, on 07/26/2008, -1/+0If you don't already have the equipment for reloading ammo, I'd suggest you exchange your worthless paper for the worthwhile machinery to do so. Gold is great. Silver is good. Copper jacketed lead? Priceless.
- DonWigler, on 07/26/2008, -1/+2Has anyone here actually read the constitution? I'm guessing not, or this idiot and many before him would have been impeached a long time ago.
- tajitj, on 07/26/2008, -0/+1One of those men is running for president, Bob Barr.
http://www.barrbomb.com/ - nick1971, on 07/28/2008, -0/+1What is still not clear to me is what good this will do?
The investigation will go on for months and GWB term ends soon?
Are there additional penalties which can be imposed?
Even though the US is no longer a signatory is there any chance that GWB could be tried under international law?
