- jstohler, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11I'm sure that the soldiers and people of Iraq who are killed and maimed on a daily basis would love to hear their situation compared to baseball. What a F'moron.
- flernk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9What do you mean? It's just like a baseball game. A $500,000,000,000 baseball game with no end in sight, no innings, no umpires, no rules, no bases, no way to get back to home plate, no electricity, and where the players and spectators are regularly killed in brutal attacks. Where the "Cubs" are totally relentless and the "Cardinals" need to defend themselves while the "Cubs" throw bombs at eachother. You know, just like baseball.
Is it just me, or does it feel like we're in the last throes of the Republican insurgency? - hawkeye17, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Another ignorant asshat Republican with the no decency(or brain) whatsoever...again, par for the course for the vast majority of this generation of Republicans. Grow up Mr. Congressman.
- JCSaint, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3War is just a game to these people.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Considering that Hancock's funeral is today I would say that it's too soon.
- mickeyknoxxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The smartest man in the world is a bouncer at a dive bar in New York. This idiot's an elected official.
The dumbing down of America continues. - tripleplay369, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Too soon?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Worst person in the world candidate for sure. I'll bet a buck he makes Countdown.
What a maroon. - dracostimpy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Maybe the Cards wouldn't run out of players if they taught them how to call a cab instead of driving home *****. Jes' sayin...
- shawnfassett, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Conservatism is dead
- OneManIsolator, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2You'll get scoffed at for daring to say anything that even vaguely says like it might have come from within the proximity of a "hippie" in the 60s, but this just goes to show that, yes, these "elected officials" see war as nothing more than a game.
Fifty years and yet nobody seems to be doing anything about it. I'm sure this chap was the "lesser of two evils" to someone, somewhere. - JCSaint, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Conservatism is like Jason or Freddy. You think it's dead but it just comes back in a sequel in a much lamer incarnation that makes little sense but there's always people willing to pay good money to see it.
