Congress' Twitter Use May Violate Mail Restrictions
npr.org — Capitol Hill is atwitter about, of all things, Twitter. Congresspersons who use it to communicate directly with constituents may be in violation of the Congressional Commission on Mailing Standards. Andrew Noyes of the National Journal's Tech Daily Dose explains.

- quepol, on 07/10/2008, -1/+2It may, indeed, be the reason Gov is losing its way, but I disagree that it's Gov's fault and not our's. We have become disconnected, apathetic, unconcerned, etc., etc., etc. as a country, as a people. However, people ARE connecting to their friends and social networks, and I will support every effort to get Gov to participate in this. It may be the only way to get people engaged and interested again.
I mean, come on. The average price of gas is nearly $5.00. FIVE DOLLARS!! Where's the outrage? Why aren't people in the streets? Because we are not engaged the way people once were.
All IMHO, of course.
