Deciding to attack other nations got some Germans hung at Nuremberg. - qdkk, on 07/04/2008, -36/+122*****.
- str3ama, on 07/04/2008, -19/+103Yea and I'm proud knowing that once Bush is ousted from Presidency his entire administration is going to have to leave the country for a while or beef up their personal security.
- Berkana, on 07/05/2008, -14/+95What she doesn't say is that the invasion was planned and decided on from the very first days of the administration, 8 months before 9/11. Terrorism never was a good justification for invading Iraq; the only justification, the justification nobody talks about, is the theft of Iraq's oil. "Operation Iraqi freedom" is a sham. It never was about bringing freedom to the Iraqis. It was first and foremost about securing oil for Bush's cronies in the petroleum industry.
Condi Rice has blood on her hands for taking part in this.
Paul O'Neil (Bush's former secretary of the treasury) interviewed about his interviews and source materials provided for the book "the price of loyalty".

And as someone pointed out, such behavior and planning of conquest got some Germans hung at Nuremburg. Bush, Rice, Cheney, Rove, Rumsfeld, and the rest of those who complicity went forward with this plan are war criminals. May they face justice. Shame on congress, for lacking even the good judgment to impeach. - hawkeye17, on 07/05/2008, -15/+93She's completely delusional now. History won't forget your crimes Condi.
- hpymondays, on 07/05/2008, -10/+70Decision to overthrow Saddam? Correct me if I am wrong and maybe I am getting a little senile but if I remember well it was all about WMD's. No WMD's found? oh well, then it's about Saddam. Saddam dead? Oh well, it's about Democracy. No democracy? oh well, we still get their oil.
- jstohler, on 07/04/2008, -20/+71"Oh yes, and I'm also a total moron."
- cadmiumpaint, on 07/05/2008, -9/+46She's an idiot.
I hope she's proud of being a part of the biggest Presidential administration failure this country has EVER seen. - supermanly, on 07/05/2008, -9/+40Buried you in a second.
- GorfTron, on 07/05/2008, -8/+37Is she proud of the cooked intelligence that made it possible?
- yowhasoy, on 07/05/2008, -6/+33its sad that her pride is aimed at the deaths of thousands of people; innocent, guilty, gun wielding and unarmed, her pride overlooks these lives.
This administration will be written into the textbooks as the first chapter in the downfall of the greatest nation on earth, that is the legacy of the Bush administration. - voteforblank, on 07/05/2008, -12/+39When can I start ordering FRONT ROW tickets to the Nuremburg II trials? Wouldn't miss it for all the oil in Iraq!
- Kanele, on 07/05/2008, -9/+35yeah but only the losers are criminals, winners get to be the judges.
- supermanly, on 07/05/2008, -4/+27Unfortunately for us
- biotch, on 07/05/2008, -4/+26"That was the iraq, that this president had decided, there had been enough."
Yeah Condi, That WASNT the Iraq you sold to the American people. We were told Iraq was going to blow us all up in a nuclear chemical genocide.
WMD programs "whatever state they were in"...
No Condi, you dont get to just slide past that one. "Whatever state they were in" was THE biggest selling point of your invasion. The state they were in was dismal to nothing.
Thanks for wasting our time and money while failing to bring 9/11 perpetrators to justice and letting our country slip into yet another energy crisis.
Be proud of THAT legacy. - jonnyeuchre, on 07/05/2008, -6/+26Cause those 1M + dead Iraqis sure had it coming
- bkripper, on 07/05/2008, -3/+23No surprise here as the administration got the results they wanted. Huge profitable contracts for Haliburton, Bechtel and many other military contractors. Control of the oil wells and massive profits for the shrubs oil buddies. A great distraction while others in the administration attacked the Constitution and the environment at home. One dead Saddam Hussein. And an obedient main stream press which delivered and defended the propaganda necessary to ensure a confused and supportive citizenry.
All this paid for by the US taxpayer. - biotch, on 07/05/2008, -4/+23Oh right cuz there were totally a bunch of terrorists in Iraq before Bush invaded.
- pxa270, on 07/05/2008, -2/+21It's not just killing Jews: genocide (or rather, "Crimes against humanity") was only one of the indictments in the Nuremberg Trials. Other important ones were "Participation in a common plan or conspiracy for the accomplishment of crime against peace" and "Planning, initiating and waging wars of aggression and other crimes against peace".
Starting a war without a damn good reason to do so did get people hung at Nuremberg, - Waiting2awake, on 07/05/2008, -3/+20 I wonder if you would feel the same if you were an Iraqi? Are the women happier? The ones that haven't been killed or fled, and still have their children?
- cquinnd, on 07/05/2008, -3/+20Material breach of UN Mandate over the development and storage of Weapons of Mass Destruction was the single justification used to override UN objections over an invasion of Iraq, when it was yet unclear if the coalition of forces had adequately dealt with the situation in Afganistan with the organized Taliban and Al Queda factions there.
- TheSwashbuckler, on 07/05/2008, -6/+23Translation: Condi Rice is still an idiot...
- Hoogie7Dowser, on 07/05/2008, -3/+18We should be happy when ***** is ***** up?
Condi looks like a gargoyle. She has no soul. Evil has no soul. - nedzeve, on 07/05/2008, -3/+16Is that you, John?
- osukwm, on 07/05/2008, -5/+19``The neoconservative hubris, which sort of assigns to America some kind of geo-strategic responsibility for maximizing democracy, overstretches the resources of a free country,'' Buckley said. Couldn't have said it better myself.
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000103&si ... - Waiting2awake, on 07/05/2008, -2/+15You really have no idea of what is happening there do you?
How many more times do international reporters have to quietly explain this to Americans - your media is propaganda.
Last to know the next talking point, doesn't concern me. You still thinking you can trust the MSM after 7 years of lies, distortions and half truths - is really just shocking.
Maybe America is doomed, or maybe like a phoenix it will pull itself from the ashes of the paradigm and take vengeance on those that worked so hard to see her fall. - swrostmore, on 07/05/2008, -3/+14People who aren't as ignorant as you are, are digging up Chicofarby, who unlike you is cognizant of historical facts.
- GhostyBoy, on 07/05/2008, -0/+11I wonder if she is proud of her decision to ignore the memo: "Bin Laden determined to strike in U.S."?
- Waiting2awake, on 07/05/2008, -3/+15Thats right they also tried to link him with OBL first. Then when that started to fail it was the WMD, then when that fell through it was that he was a dictator and used chemical weapons* to kill his citizens.
*Weapons the US sold to him in the first place. - Thrilltone, on 07/05/2008, -12/+22I've got to give Ms. Rice credit.
She speaks very clearly,
despite having her tongue stuck so far up W's ahole. - Dumbledorito, on 07/05/2008, -2/+12Right. People who think Condi's assistance to one of the most failed presidencies the world has ever known is less than admirable are racists.
I recall back when Harriet Meirs was nominated for the Supreme Court and people like Stevanoski and the politicos he spouts off for said all of her detractors were sexists and secretly hated women.
Then even those loyal Bushie partisans realized she was about as bright as a burned-out bulb dipped in auto primer. But thank goodness they didn't learn anything from that, or they wouldn't be nearly as entertaining, right? - calbff, on 07/05/2008, -2/+12His retarded what?
- franklyzappa, on 07/05/2008, -5/+16The number of conservatives on Digg shocks me.
- MWeather, on 07/05/2008, -0/+9His administration has been doing the same crap since the Nixon administration. Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Bush II, all the same people.
I doubt this is the administration that will shame them into leaving. In fact, I fully expect to see many of the same faces in the next Republican administration. - loveandrockets, on 07/06/2008, -1/+10Actually, they won't be going to Europe because they'd be afraid of getting arrested for authorizing torture. The EU specifically states that it is the DUTY of any member country to arrest anyone suspected of using or authorizing torture. This from an international expert in torture law.
So they'll be going to South America. The same place the Nazis went after WWII.
Isn't that just ***** lovely? - Waiting2awake, on 07/05/2008, -9/+18You know what? I think I have gotten you figured out. You are trying to be the biggest turd on the block. You don't really believe the tripe you spew, no one could be able to be that dense.
Years back there was this guy on a boxing message board and regardless of the fight he'd take the massive underdog. It didn't matter about past records, physical short comings, nothing. This guy was spouting off ***** after ***** all with complete seriousness. Which was the joke. He later confided that it was all a persona, just to stimulate discussion and work people up at his intentional obtuseness.
You'd do him proud.
- eltrev, on 07/05/2008, -1/+10@ Stevenoski's last 2 farts -
"Comebacks"? Comebacks are only required when your opponent has at least some modicum of logic that you can counter. Your stupidity speaks for itself - the "comeback" is built-in. You are just lame, in an entertaining, pathetic sorta way.
Calling the most tolerant and un-fascist part of the spectrum racist, antisemetic etc deserves a comeback like - "you are fat, and your momma dresses you funny" or "I like tangerines!!!" 2 options here - counter nonsense with nonsense, or ignore.
a troll is a troll is a troll. - STPZ, on 07/05/2008, -4/+13Thats right, your doing good. Just keep repeating it and then you won't realize how much you and the administration ***** up the world.
- cquinnd, on 07/05/2008, -2/+11Not just jewish people, althought the established program of genocide was part of it.
- M0stBlunt3d, on 07/05/2008, -11/+19Puppet biatch
- BlacklabelSAR, on 07/05/2008, -0/+8It wasn't a threat, it was a prediction based on how people tend to act. The Fed wouldn't survive trying to lock up the 70% of the population for openly dissenting. See, that's not a threat either.
- withears, on 07/06/2008, -3/+11Condi was unqualified for her position in this administration from the beginning.
This statement from her removes any doubt that may have been lingering. - dexedrine, on 07/05/2008, -3/+10thanks for defining a troll........ //
- Berkana, on 07/05/2008, -3/+10I said they tried, I didn't say they succeeded. Iraqi insurgents have been sabotaging oil pipelines and killing workers pretty consistently. And gas prices are high in part because of fears of war with Iran, regardless of whether there's more oil on the market now or not. The purpose of the invasion wasn't to lower your gas prices, the purpose of the invasion was to help the oil companies make money, and they're certainly doing that.
Certainly the idea to invade Iraq for its oil is a flawed idea, but if you mean my assertion that the Bush administration invaded for oil is a flawed idea, you are mistaken; this is not some idea of mine to explain what is going on, this is a statement of fact exposed by Paul O'Neil, who attended National Security Council meetings where the war planning took place long before 9/11. - biotch, on 07/05/2008, -2/+9lol steven..
bububut .... bubut ... raaaaacist!
We're shuddering over here at the sheer notion of being called racist. - PhilLesh69, on 07/06/2008, -0/+7GW did buy a very large plantation in Paraguay, so your prediction may just come true.
- inactive, on 07/05/2008, -0/+7Um she didn't ignore it. She milked it denying it existed.
- withears, on 07/06/2008, -0/+6Where's Osama?
- Waiting2awake, on 07/05/2008, -3/+9yes, because those are the only two options for someone to be.
No one denies Saddam was a bad man, but if evil was a skin condition, he wouldn't even be a blackhead. Bush on the other hand is closer to that flesh eating disease. - BlacklabelSAR, on 07/05/2008, -2/+8Does "naked aggression" still work?
