- zardoz73, on 05/08/2008, -7/+51Hillary will go on through the Puerto Rico, West Virginia, and Oregon primaries. She'll likely win PR and WV, Obama will win Oregon. But more importantly, in the next few weeks, undeclared superdelagates will come out of the woodwork and put Obama over the edge.
Really, the only question now is will Hillary bow out today, next week, or in two weeks? It's not "if" but "when". - AndrewDB, on 05/08/2008, -4/+28I wonder how much fun it is to be as delusional as she is.
- brstilson, on 05/08/2008, -3/+20If experience in the political system made a great leader, then Dick Cheney would be the greatest vice president in the history of the United States.
"Experience" in Washington means pushing the same failed policies over and over again, collecting money from industry lobbyists, and putting our Constitution through a paper shredder. Sorry, but when it comes to capitol hill, "experience" is a bad thing. - wacomwacoff, on 05/08/2008, -1/+16Same reason Guam gets to vote: they're a US territory.
- brstilson, on 05/08/2008, -2/+17If Obama names Clinton as his VP, I'm writing in Ron Paul.
- brstilson, on 05/08/2008, -1/+16The whole point of this election is to keep the Bushes and Clintons OUT of the White House, a place they've occupied since 1981.
- synaesthesia, on 05/08/2008, -5/+18I don't think she's delusional, she's trying to keep going so that her support levels, while not high enough to get her elected, are high enough to force Obama to take her on as VP. Should this happen, he might have no choice- either take her on as VP or she takes her supporters and goes home, leaving him with a split party. However, taking on Hillary's baggage and the animosity towards her would sink his campaign, dillute his message of 'new politics' and basically destroy everything the Obama campaign stands for. I'm really worried about this- there seems to be no limit to her hunger for power.
- inactive, on 05/08/2008, -0/+11I don't think there is any way that Hillary comprehends exactly why she lost. In her mind, she was next, it was her turn and she feels entitled to the nomination. In a lot of ways, she isn't any better choice than McCain. They are both entirely too comfortable just playing the game and are too entrenched in the whole vile, incestuous Washington crowd that needs to be removed from power.
- Pake, on 05/08/2008, -3/+14What experience does Hillary have solo? You can't count that crap she piggybacked off Bill, otherwise Chelsea would have 28 years of experience by now...
- superkendall, on 05/08/2008, -1/+11Because the Democratic party is not a government entity?
Sheesh! - zardoz73, on 05/08/2008, -5/+14As much as I'd like to elect a Kuchinich-like pacifist president, it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. As for Afghanistan, being in a war there isn't exactly ideal, but it makes a helluva lot more sense than being in Iraq (which makes no sense). Look at it this way: the next president needs the military to clean up the mess the neocons have made in the last 8 years.
- TheDarkstarter, on 05/08/2008, -1/+10At this point the only way Bill Clinton can redeem himself in my eyes, is if he divorces that battle-axe and starts dating some women half his age, like some of Chelsea's college girl friends.
- inactive, on 05/08/2008, -0/+8It seems more and more obvious to me that the Clintons expected to just run and have everything work out "somehow", not expecting any upstarts like Obama to get in their way, leading to lots of "mis-speaks" and absolute lies and truth twisting from the Clinton campaign. Now she is driving a wedge into the party letting that total douche McCain sit there unopposed for now while the Democrats fight themselves. The only hope we have is that Obama scoops up the nomination and viscously eats McCain alive for the liar and out of touch warmonger he is. As Obama's debate skills make Bush look like that of a crane fly this should not be too hard to get McCain to screw his own campaign with the same flip-flop terrorism that got the US to where it is now.
While no one is perfect I think Obama is a good choice, bringing fresh perspective to DC and ending the Bush/Clinton dynasty that has dominated the US for over two decades leading to much unneeded death abroad and destruction of the US economy and decency.
gObama! - brstilson, on 05/08/2008, -0/+8Thanks! Your report has been sent.
- vanebeard, on 05/08/2008, -1/+9WTF?
- afeitarse, on 05/08/2008, -1/+9welcome to my blocklist
- Pake, on 05/08/2008, -2/+10Who's a CFR member? Because neither is on the CFR member list and neither has a spouse on the list. In fact, the closest thing to the letters "CFR" that is associated with Obama is his wife's membership with the Chicago CFR, which if you even had a sliver of living braincells left, you'd have done your research on that group and realized they are in no way shape or form associated with the CFR you are complaining about. So how about pulling your head out of the gutter and learn to do some research for a change and not just blindly follow with other Ron Paul supporters who haven't done their research either have said.
- topgigmedia, on 05/08/2008, -0/+8Then you and she should have a talk about her actions and track record.
- brstilson, on 05/08/2008, -2/+9Ron Paul would never agree with Barack Obama on hardly anything.
- inactive, on 05/08/2008, -1/+8*tin foil hat*
- gobbleplex, on 05/08/2008, -0/+7And yet McCain seems all too happy to cozy up to the same people he decried as being "Agents of Intolerance" in 2000. His reputation as a "maverick" has long ago been cast aside when he found that it wouldn't get him any traction.
- inactive, on 05/08/2008, -8/+15It would take 50 years to fix what GWB has done the last 8 years... Obama is a good man but he simply will not be in there long enough to fix it all
- lizlemoncello, on 05/08/2008, -2/+9He wasn't raised a Muslim. His father was raised as such, but neither of his parents were religious when they had him, and he only saw his father like, once after he was two years ond
- brstilson, on 05/08/2008, -0/+7One day, I hope to meet an intelligent Clinton supporter.
Today is not that day. - twiztidsinz, on 05/08/2008, -0/+7seriously.. get a ***** life....
- inactive, on 05/08/2008, -2/+9"Being in Iraq makes perfect sense."
kill self immediately. tyia - inactive, on 05/08/2008, -1/+8We don't need the military industrial complex to go after a few dozen rag-tag pakistanis.
- Gerz1219, on 05/08/2008, -1/+8It's taken us longer to pacify Iraq than it took us to defeat Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. Maybe Americans got it into their heads that the war in Iraq would be quick and easy because their elected representatives told them the war would be over in a few weeks and that it would cost about $20 billion.
- Akairenn, on 05/08/2008, -0/+7Why does it suck? I see no reason why it should suck. What sucks is that the American citizenry is, collectively, a bunch of ignorant morons. Being half-black is not a qualification for Presidential office. Nor is being rumored to have a vagina. Perhaps people should look at policy, rather than skin color or genitalia when voting for their next presidential candidate.
- burnstyle, on 05/08/2008, -3/+10when google came around lycos had MUCH more experience than it did...
look how well that experience paid off. - inactive, on 05/08/2008, -2/+9Can someone explain why Puerto Rico isn't an independent country?
- topgigmedia, on 05/08/2008, -2/+9Think about it. If Hillary bows out today, and then she goes on to win in Kentucky & W. Virginia, wouldn't that potentially be an embarrassment to Obama? It is better if she bows out after the remaining primaries. Hopefully she and her operatives will have the common sense to refrain from the smearing and personal attacks in the interim and begin to join with Obama in repairing the damage that they and the media both did to the party.
That said - Hillary - I am SO TIRED OF YOU! - Risingashes, on 05/08/2008, -0/+6Obama supporters: defend him against sensationalist tripe.
Clinton supporters: defend her against fair criticisms.
People really need to stop projecting with all this silly 'cult' business. Go vote for McCain- no one could convince an insane person using logic anyway. Enjoy 4 years of a platform that runs against everything you apparently stand for. - BuddyDoQ, on 05/08/2008, -0/+61) The few plunder the many.
2) Everybody plunders everybody.
3) Nobody plunders anybody.
Pick one.
*Hint: only #3 can be considered moral. - daiatan, on 05/08/2008, -0/+6i think that was the point of the entire article, shes only going to hurt the democratic party by doing this. So they are advocating the need for Unity in the democratic camp.
is Ron Paul tearing the republicans to shreds? - TheDarkstarter, on 05/08/2008, -0/+6What a great idea! That'll show 'em!
- Gerz1219, on 05/08/2008, -1/+7If Obama is a successful president, Bush-like policies will be anathema to Republicans for a generation, just like Reagan marginalized 70's era liberal policies.
- aphexcoil, on 05/08/2008, -0/+6What really boggles my mind is how so many people can sit there holding "I love Hillary!" signs while believing all the ***** that comes out of her mouth.
- radiantstorm, on 05/08/2008, -0/+5Reality check: statistically, the closer the race, the easier it is to hide digital slight-of-hand. The establishment has voting machine companies like Diebold in their pockets and vice-versa. If the Bilderburg Group-anointed Hillary is "supposed" to win, she'll win. End of discussion, unfortunately.
- satman33, on 05/08/2008, -1/+6WOW, choking on John Hagee's ***** much????
- marmanukem, on 05/08/2008, -1/+6She didn't even do much of that! If that were qualifying, Monica would be running right now.
- inactive, on 05/08/2008, -2/+7"the Soviet Union would have won the cold war. The US would hardly be a minor power at this point,"
Based on what? Russia has never attacked the USA. The USA has landed troops in Russia twice.
"Panama and the Gulf War were so quick and clean"
Unless you are Panamanian or Iraqi. - Iwantawii, on 05/08/2008, -0/+5You are reading this right now.
- chassach, on 05/08/2008, -1/+6How experienced was Bill when he came in? How experienced was Kennedy?
- chaosium, on 05/08/2008, -0/+5"check out the facts before you write off Ron Paul"
Check out his delegates first. - wacomwacoff, on 05/08/2008, -1/+6Because its residents are US citizens. People living abroad can vote, too, and they're not living in a state.

- inactive, on 05/08/2008, -1/+6Strangely enough, no one "forgot" that low-grade Freeper *****. We hear it, but remember, you ARE the ***** that said Iraq had WMD. Your credibility has (understandably) suffered.
