- brizzle, on 02/23/2008, -42/+407Man, she's really pissed off. Run for your lives!
Shame on you Hillary for being such a bitch. - mrfreeziexp, on 02/23/2008, -17/+346If Obama could muster up some tears now, he'd have this race in the bag.
- jbdobd, on 02/23/2008, -7/+264pot...kettle...black. has she seen her own mailers?? Is it me, or does this remind you of those times your Mom was yelling at your for something you did and you were actually afraid she was losing her sanity?
- mattrmcg, on 02/23/2008, -14/+198Shame on her for being hypocritical
- bitfreak, on 02/23/2008, -8/+190Is she stupid? I saw her this past Tuesday, DEFEND her position of mandating 100% buy-in to her program. It is a key differentiator between the health care programs they are pushing. Now she says it's untrue?
- mediaspree, on 02/23/2008, -11/+179I wish she would stop saying she is offering "Universal Healthcare" which I'm sure most Americans are thinking is going to be some magical free federally funded system where they don't have to pay to see a doctor, when all she is offering is MANDATORY, predatory, coverage from the insurance companies she has been lobbied by. And if you don't want in? Too bad! They garnish your wages!
- matt70, on 02/23/2008, -14/+180I cannot help but feel that Hillary would say anything to get elected. She said she "go after people's wages" and NAFTA is Bill's legacy. What's that you say, she privately has really opposed free trade even though she publicly supported her husband's position. Then check out her voting record. Hillary Clinton has voted yes four times on "free trade" agreements since she has been a Senator, including free trade agreements with Oman, Singapore and Chile.
- arbouler, on 02/23/2008, -11/+157it baffles me how the clinton fans are still backing her up when it is so obvious that she flip flops her views on some key issues: voted for the war and now says i was fooled (never apologized cuz shes so tough!), supported NAFTA then now says i wanna fix it (only because she NEEDS ohio's votes), accused obama of plagiarism and now it's okay for her to do the same. do we really think her experience (or specifically terrible experience) more important than smarter decisions?
- RomanThommassen, on 02/23/2008, -9/+152I.. am.. desparate.. i'm dieing...obama... need to... make .. people think.. he... corrupt...AAAaaaarrggg
- Renian, on 02/23/2008, -5/+147So wait. If your plans are blatantly retarded, but you don't notice until you actually see it on paper, that makes the person who pointed it out on said paper shameful?
- ceruleanocte, on 02/23/2008, -9/+141Imagine that same attitude running the country. No thanks...
- Rachmaninoff, on 02/23/2008, -10/+120If anything, the wrath of Hillary turns me off even more toward her. Just go away...please. And I'm from NY.
- Hobbes24, on 02/23/2008, -39/+146oh shut up you dumb bitch.
- TheWriteGuy, on 02/23/2008, -11/+116Cripes, you have to wonder if this is how she'd behave as President when things don't work out in her favor. (Cry and pout.) Even Bush handles his emotions in public better.
- bethlagarrison, on 02/23/2008, -8/+106So wait, then why is it okay that Hillary's been running purposely misleading fliers for the past couple of months, telling people that Obama supports the NAFTA superhighway, that he opposes pro-choice ideas, that his health care plan leaves 15 million people out in the cold, and so on?
*****, she wants to have a debate about campaign tactics? Obama could phone this one in. - cl2yp71c, on 02/23/2008, -9/+105Just quit, save some dignity.
- jspania, on 02/23/2008, -9/+92She jabs the air with her hands...." BYAH!"
- tones1, on 02/23/2008, -21/+98I just want to punch Hillary in the face.
- RhodesSkolar, on 02/23/2008, -10/+81New Yorkers for an invisble and silent Hillary.
- ajwinder, on 02/23/2008, -5/+70The greatest thing about those mailers is that they're freaking accurate. You cant spend over 10 years pushing NAFTA and then refute it on the eve of an election where you've systematically screwed over that populous (well, unless your name is Clinton). You can't say that you're going to garnish wages for health care and then claim your plan doesn't.
Her biggest arguments are non-sequiturs at the same time. Her argument is that the mailers are untrue. But her justifications deal with Obamas plans, not with the content of the literature. Because of that her arguments basically equate to a whiny little brat threatening to take their toys home to play. If she feels bad about the attacks and wants to rebut them, then she should be sending out mailers herself. Oh wait, she cant, because she pissed away her money prematurely due to bad planning. And Obama is supposed to feel shame over that? Please, its time for Clinton to just go away. - fr0ng, on 02/23/2008, -13/+75I can't wait for her to lose, then break down and cry on national television.
- richbleak, on 02/23/2008, -9/+68You either didn't read the article or have kept yourself willfully ignorant. The charges that Hillary claims are unfair are 100% accurate.
- skinkaid, on 02/23/2008, -6/+61Nothing stinks more than the perfume of desperation
- sportscheck, on 02/23/2008, -8/+63I have great respect for Mr. Clinton, but, Miss. Clinton you can't deny your record.
- AndrewDB, on 02/23/2008, -7/+58Shame on you for thinking you still have a chance Hillary.
- cornflakepirate, on 02/23/2008, -6/+53Because "*****" is a slur against somebody's skin colour, while "bitch" is about personality. Slight difference.
- XopherMV, on 02/23/2008, -10/+55Obama won all of the last ten states. He's got the momentum and will likely be the eventual candidate regardless of what Clinton does. Hillary should step down for the good of the party.
- starkes, on 02/23/2008, -6/+50Hi, I'm Hillary. Today I'm going to talk about why I'm mad.
- bethlagarrison, on 02/23/2008, -2/+46The truth about her health care plan.
- FuZi0nDET, on 02/23/2008, -2/+42What about her hit job in New Hampshire? I'll jog her memory for her; the one where they implied that Obama was Pro-Life?
- JavertHolmes, on 02/23/2008, -2/+40the dawning of the age of aquarius.
The age of aquarius.
Aqua-rius! - OAKM, on 02/23/2008, -9/+47wow , she's desperate
- inactive, on 02/23/2008, -6/+43Yikes! Literature in hands, jabbing the air, crazed look. Totally reminds me of the time my mom caught me spanking it to some girlie mags.....let's see when was that....about 5 years ago...I'm 40 now....so yeah, that sounds about right....right around the time I moved into her basement...
I totally, explicitly have heard Hillary discuss MANDATED HEALTHCARE AND WAGE GARNISHMENT.
I cannot scream this loud enough: ***** OFF HILLARY! The Clintons are old style Southern politicians. Bill has done his legacy no favors either. Hill should've dumped him! He's ***** her ***** up TWICE now! - yivkX360, on 02/23/2008, -12/+48me to clinton
"shame on you, for accusing my canidate of plagiarism when the person in question wrote the line and GAVE it to obama to use"
what a bitch - echolyean, on 02/23/2008, -2/+33Mr. Clinton secretly thinks Mr. Obama should win.
- h4mx0r, on 02/23/2008, -2/+33But he'd rather win this race with honor and dignity, fair and square.
- AliasHandler, on 02/23/2008, -3/+32I like how she is outraged at her own Healthcare policy and NAFTA position. Those mailings are 100% accurate, even though they are spun politically.
Give us a break, Hillary, and stop talking. Let this whole thing end peacefully and perhaps you will have a political future. If not, you risk destroying the Democratic party and your chance at a political future. - aliengoods, on 02/23/2008, -2/+31What pisses me off is she's running off Bill Clinton's record, but then thinks she can pick and choose which parts she's running on. "Free trade causes lost jobs, so we're not running on that part. Good economy, so I'll take credit for that." If her time in the White House is part of her experience then she is partly to blame for NAFTA, a bill which Bill signed into law.
- inactive, on 02/23/2008, -5/+31She does this sort of thing periodically, when she's feeling down.
- XopherMV, on 02/23/2008, -5/+31Actually no, the two points Clinton wants to say are lies are the actual truth. Clinton's health care plan would force people to buy health insurance, regardless of whether they could actually afford it. And Clinton did support NAFTA up until this election when she had to defend that unpopular view.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=hBypp2hqxaQ - aliengoods, on 02/23/2008, -1/+26"people who don't take insurance will be fined no matter how poor they are. That's the lie."
Actually, Hillary has yet to disclose how she's going to enforce the mandate. She's also said she would garnish wages. You are accurate that the poor would get their insurance subsidized under Hillary, but I can't seem to find any literature of where those lines are. Is it $10K, $20K? I haven't been able to find any information that lays out her plan in concrete terms. And if you make $30K and have to pay $3K/year for mandated insurance that is a severe problem.
The truth is both plans are largely in flux as many details would be changed by the time the law would get passed. - kurtwinter, on 02/23/2008, -8/+33Crocodile Tears won't win this race Hill. Please take your neo-liberal world government politics back to your corporate overlords and STFU.
- uglyowl, on 02/23/2008, -10/+35"pot...kettle...black"
You racist. - inactive, on 02/23/2008, -4/+28There's a picture of her with a big mustache and missing tooth drawn on it
- Kerrigore, on 02/23/2008, -4/+28Not true, men can also be bitches.
- pauleric, on 02/23/2008, -2/+25To feel shame you need to have a soul.
- ahvi, on 02/23/2008, -2/+25I actually thought to myself that her final statement of the debate in Texas not only seemed incredibly calculated, but was her second and hopefully final tear moment. Sure enough all the major news outlets took the bait. She doesn't understand how to connect with the voters and that is clear.
- actorboy, on 02/23/2008, -1/+24Nor did she deny it in Thusday's debate when Obama pointed out that her plan mandated that everyone buy-in. Obama (paraphrased from memory): "My belief is that if healthcare was affordable, people would buy it. Your plan mandates that people buy helathcare even if they can't afford it."
Why didn't she put up a stink then? - ianfin, on 02/23/2008, -3/+25Reeks of desperation; at the same time is it asking too much of a news organization to put this in perspective and do some research. This is a case where she is either right or wrong and either way they should let the reader know.
- AdamaObama, on 02/23/2008, -7/+28The main reason I will not back Clinton in this election is because she can't make up her mind on anything and flip-flops, as someone above me put it. Most people in the Middle Class make just enough to get by and she wants to go after our wages for her health care plan, which I'm sure will be similar to the plastic surgery chop shops in other countries. She'll take money from us for mediocre health care while people like her will still have all the great medical plans. It'll probably be a tier system like Bronze, Silver, and Gold. You have to be able to buy into a certain amount of her "national" health care plan to get certain benefits.
This woman is desperate and she is saying anything she can to get ahead. Her tactics may work on the rich and the people like her, but Obama has support where it really matters: the American people. -
