- pooface5, on 02/14/2008, -14/+544Basically Hillary is saying "screw the will of the people, I WANT TO BE PRESIDENT SO THERE! :( "
- Ogresmash, on 02/14/2008, -17/+289You guys don't understand, primaries and caucuses are misogynistic and super delegates are put in place to help correct the sexist will of the people.
Also caucuses are unfair so they shouldn't count, except for Nevada because it had a lot of Latinos.
And primaries without a lot of old white women and Latinos? They shouldn't count either.
And the super delegates who support Barack? Yeah, they shouldn't count either, clearly a case of affirmative action. - gmurray, on 02/14/2008, -6/+166Dibs! It's my turn to be president next!
- CarbonTiger, on 02/14/2008, -2/+129The democratic process in this country cannot be destroyed by the ruthless pursuit of power by someone who feels they are entitled to it. The will of the people must stand. If Barack Obama wins 30+ states, more delegates, and more votes he's the nomination PERIOD and the supers fall in line behind him no ifs ands or buts.
- samssf, on 02/14/2008, -8/+103***** Clinton. She'd probably hire an assassin if she had to. Yup anything to be president. No regard for the citizens of the country. She'll ***** it all up and McCain will be president. What a bitch.
- EVogel, on 02/14/2008, -25/+117shes such a dumb whore.
- SpaceKimchi, on 02/14/2008, -3/+85Guys I call next president
- Roloc, on 02/14/2008, -2/+83Everyone needs to read this and see how Hillary is "more of the same" the same meaning establishment and bought off politicians. She is not a "women" of the people if she was there is no way she would say things like this
- Hobbes24, on 02/14/2008, -1/+79democracy is more of a "recommendation" anyway
- filolif, on 02/14/2008, -3/+77Pathetic and power-grabbing. Are these the qualities we would want in a President?
Hillary, I might have voted for you before you time and time again decided to thumb your nose at common courtesy and the will of the American people. You are pathetic. - Hidohebhi, on 02/14/2008, -3/+77Wow. So I guess I should be supporting the "more experienced" candidate.
More experienced at being a hack. - V0lk, on 02/14/2008, -4/+66Hillary makes me want to puke.
- sockpuppets, on 02/14/2008, -1/+60Shotgun!
/Dick Cheney. - heptahedron, on 02/14/2008, -3/+53Every time Hillary shows how undemocratic and ruthless she is in her egomaniacal pursuit of nomination, I will donate more money to Obama
See Y'all at https://donate.barackobama.com/page/contribute/aba ... - hvylobster, on 02/14/2008, -2/+52Disgusting; count me as an ultra-liberal who will not be voting in November if she actually does as her spin-doctor says.
- akatsuki, on 02/14/2008, -2/+50That would be the end of the party as far as I am concerned. McCain will slaughter her in the general election if she wins this way.
- orangefly, on 02/14/2008, -1/+48i will donate $1 to obama everytime hillary does something shady....
wait....nevermind i have a family to feed.... - inactive, on 02/14/2008, -5/+51Dugg for truth.
- ericdano, on 02/14/2008, -10/+55If she becomes the Democratic choice, I'm voting Republican
- Aroundtown27, on 02/14/2008, -0/+42this makes me so mad "The Clinton camp has suggested that the caucuses -- where Obama has bested Clinton in all but one state -- are inherently undemocratic.." - And the super delegates are democratic?
- cheekdog, on 02/14/2008, -1/+39i ***** hate hilary. i'm almost to the point where i'd rather vote for mccain if she gets the nomination. did she not learn enough after the last two elections? i ***** hate hilary.
- jon30041, on 02/14/2008, -0/+37Nuh uh, I called it last week!
- Midelne, on 02/14/2008, -2/+38I never really wanted to see her naked ambition. Dugg anyway so everyone else has to.
- McLumpy, on 02/14/2008, -5/+40God ***** dammit Hillary.
- Haz3rd, on 02/14/2008, -2/+34If Clinton is the nominee, I'm going to Nader.
- DangerCollie, on 02/14/2008, -1/+32If anyone's interested, MSNBC has been interviewing super-delegates all week. So far they've all said exactly the same thing: the voters are going to pick the nominee, not them.
If the popular vote goes to Obama and the super-delegates pick Clinton, then McCain can start assembling his transition team. The Dems do have a way of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. - pantspatrol, on 02/14/2008, -5/+34what an awful woman
- rlbond86, on 02/14/2008, -1/+30This is true. In Fulton County, GA, the vote was overwhelmingly for Obama, but the representative supports Clinton. Already there are ads that the people have been betrayed. If enough people back Obama, the superdelegates won't have a choice.
- inactive, on 02/14/2008, -3/+30If Hillary goes against the will of the people, those people will be voting for President McCain in November.
- Rodman930, on 02/14/2008, -1/+27If she gets away with this I will HATE her for the rest of my life. In fact, I might as well start hating her now for even considering trying ***** like this. She makes me sick.
- Pinkertinkle, on 02/14/2008, -4/+29Clinton plans to go against common sense too.
- jon30041, on 02/14/2008, -1/+26Mmhmm. Well... considering he's biting into all of the demographics now... Y'know, those middle-aged white women shouldn't count either =P
- ColinCampbell, on 02/14/2008, -2/+27Super-delegates were never meant to decide who won the race, only give the leader enough of a margin to win. The leader is the person with the most delegates, not the popular vote. Complain about this all you want, but Clinton is running as a Democratic candidate and knows the rules full-well. Clinton likes the rules when they favour her, and bend them when they don't. She's begging to have the delegates in Michigan and Florida be re-instated by the DNC, claiming they "need to have their voices heard" but she's only taking such a moral stand after winning the states (Obama withdrew his name from MI) and realizing she'll need the delegates.
She's a dirty, conniving bitch. If Obama wins in delegates and Clinton takes it through the super-delegates, the party will rightfully fracture and Clinton will rightfully not stand a sweet chance in the general election. - SpectreFire, on 02/14/2008, -2/+27Clinton "I support the American people by refusing to allow them to vote for there elected leaders"
- ScaredOfTheMan, on 02/14/2008, -3/+27If she really does this, I am voting for Mac daddy kane. Or we can convince Obama to run as an independent and give both the old establishment candidates a good ol' ass whooping come November.
Does anyone question how power hungry this person is? Just imagine what she would do as POTUS. - bicyclethief, on 02/14/2008, -2/+26It's not that we hate women...we just prefer Black people.
- hyperspace68, on 02/14/2008, -3/+26Bitch. "Super" Bitch.
- rz8472, on 02/14/2008, -1/+23Obama has NEVER played the race card throughout the campaign... however Clinton flaunts the sex card repeatedly, using the fact that she is female constantly as justification to vote for her. Oh, AND her campaign used the race card against Obama in South Carolina. I guess they're two for two.
- dan12, on 02/14/2008, -0/+21actually i think thats the first thing they want so democrats have a chance against McCain
- hardwickj, on 02/14/2008, -0/+21The "true" democratic process has already been destroyed. That is why we are finding ourselves in this mess in the first place.
I think everyone would agree that if Obama loses with a clear majority in every category except superdelegates, a large number of democratic and potential democratic voters will be "unhappy" to say the least. Personally, I'd be unhappy enough to vote for another party entirely, and I think a lot of others would be as well.
It's not that I hate Hillary. I actually was considering voting for her about 3-4 months ago. But the recent ruthlessness and complete disregard for "The People", which I previously thought made up a true "Democracy", has completely swayed me to Obama. If Hillary wins fair and square, with a true majority of states, delegates, superdelegates, etc, then I will be fine with supporting her. However, I just don't see that happening with the direction her campaign is taking. - redthumb, on 02/14/2008, -1/+22Sounds just like W. If she can game the system, she will.
Stephen Colbert interviewed a female senator from DC last night who said that the super-delegates would follow the will of the people and if Obama was leading they would vote for him. - s1mph0ny, on 02/14/2008, -0/+21For McCain? Show your true disdain, vote independent.
- ascentient, on 02/14/2008, -0/+21So let me get this straight? Hillary Clinton is willing to destroy the democratic process of the Democratic Party, divide its membership base and then... not be prepared to do the same thing in the general election?
I'm tired of this. I'm tired of politicians who are willing to do "whatever it takes" to get into government - and then have the gall to make out they are doing it for the people the represent. Hillary Clinton's motivation for running for President is because Hillary Clinton wants to be President. She thinks it's an entitlement due to her and she should be able to do whatever she likes to get her reward.
Her reward is to govern the American people. Because it's her turn. Because she spent 35 years living in the shadow of her husband and didn't get the credit that she wanted in that relationship. So she demands it from us.
I'm tired of this. I'm guessing a lot of people are too, by this point.
If Barack Obama were to take this "win at all costs" tactic his candidacy would be dead in the water. His support comes from people who believe in him. Who want to believe in him. Who hope and believe and desire that they can have something more in the person who they choose to govern them.
Hillary Clinton's attitude, like that of the current President is unpatriotic. It ignores the nation, because it is oblivious to the needs of the citizens - our inherent right to be heard and to matter. If she cared about the needs of the people she would stand down. She would concede. She would be remembered for doing something selfless; something good. I hope she does. I hope she looks at herself and realises there are more important things to fight for than Hillary Clinton's ego.
People want a leader, not a administrator. We need a figurehead to stand behind, stand next to, someone who will take us forward because they, like us see us as people worth representing, worth leading. Not as pawns who can be sacrificed and ignored if we don't vote their way.
I support Barack Obama, because I want a leader. Someone who provides me with the spirit that my voice matters, that my vote counts and that those who stand beside me matter too. Even those who disagree. Even Hillary Clinton. - beasty_dave_Mk2, on 02/14/2008, -2/+21wow, she should just take her ball and go home, her and her campaign is acting childish.
- iofthestorm, on 02/14/2008, -0/+19You've won an internet- it will be mailed to your house next Thursday.
- rficwizard, on 02/14/2008, -1/+20You are soon going to be broke.
- sockpuppets, on 02/14/2008, -1/+20Thanks captain obvious.
- dafragsta, on 02/14/2008, -2/+21You guys don't get it. She doesn't give a *****. She knows exactly what she's doing. If it's her or McCain, it doesn't matter; two peas in a pod. She knows she's divisive but if McCain wins, it's a win/win situation. It only makes her stronger. If Obama knocks her on her ass in such a way that her super-delegates are worthless, then she will truly lose and she'll be remembered in the eye of the public as a loser. It will melt the ice queen, because then she will be crying real tears.
- Spytap, on 02/14/2008, -1/+19And for great justice.
- Steeple, on 02/14/2008, -0/+18is more of a guideline, y'mite say captain
