- classhelper, on 03/23/2008, -1/+65I would be interested to see what sorts of "interesting" income she might have received. I don't think it's too much to ask of someone who's claiming to be the best person for the job of President.
- wonderchemist, on 03/23/2008, -2/+44Bill is busy removing "Emperor's Club" as a tax deductible "health care" expense.
- imgstacke, on 03/23/2008, -1/+42Since Bill and Hillary file joint returns, the reason she is balking at releasing her returns has to do with all the money Bill Clinton received since he left office. They will never release them. She will drop out before then. Or someone will leak them to the press.
- toasty168, on 03/23/2008, -0/+34she's hardly getting any sleep... i don't think i want someone who can't get over a little sleep deprivation answering the red phone at 3 AM.
- Autrix, on 03/23/2008, -1/+32You heard her guys, she's barely getting any sleep!!! Leave her alone :(
Oh wait, you mean she could hire someone to do it for her? - IphtashuFitz, on 03/23/2008, -0/+31"Former congressman Rick Lazio eventually relented, but only after the Clinton campaign dispatched volunteers dressed as Uncle Sam to picket his public appearances."
Sounds like a great idea. People should start dressing up as Uncle Sam and picketing her public appearances just like her people did in the past. Give her a little taste of her own medicine. - dshey, on 03/23/2008, -1/+27what is she hiding?? what ISN'T she hiding?
- mustafya, on 03/23/2008, -0/+25Most likely she is waiting until she can release her thoroughly scrubbed 2007 returns. Otherwise people might find out where the 5 million dollar "personal" loan money really came from and other such sundries. If the money Bill makes comes out in the open then people will really get upset. He is the classic example of a bought and paid for politician.
- classhelper, on 03/23/2008, -7/+30As a side note, those damned McSkillet burrito ads are *really* annoying. I keep accidentally mousing over the ad, which thrusts a fast food breakfast concoction in my face :(. I'm not "lovin' it" at all.
- chuckpenzone, on 03/23/2008, -1/+23Do you have any idea how long it takes to Photoshop all the numbers on those documents? Give her a break - she's got millions of dollars in income to hide.
- dattaway, on 03/23/2008, -1/+23"I'm a little busy right now; I hardly have time to sleep. But I will certainly work toward BALANCING THE BUDGET."
- units, on 03/23/2008, -0/+17Odd it's taking so long...I assumed she "had people."
- abburdlen, on 03/23/2008, -0/+16McCain hasn't released his tax returns either BTW
- AvangionQ, on 03/23/2008, -2/+15"The Clintons stopped disclosing their tax returns after they left the White House in 2000, and their incomes began to soar, with book deals and lecture fees. Hillary did not release her returns during her Senate re-election campaign in 2006. Instead, she pointed to the annual financial disclosure forms that she files as a U.S. senator. By contrast, Obama has released the form 1040 portion of his tax return (but not the entire return) since he first ran for the Senate from Illinois in 2004. Obama has released all his returns since 2004. Obama's Senate financial disclosure records are available here." ... seems this lack of disclosure has one logically likely cause -- concealing some campaign contributions that the Clintons don't want the public to find out about -- although, I'd be happy to be proved wrong on this insight ...
- Pinkertinkle, on 03/23/2008, -0/+12She's probably worried people are going to be pissed when they see how rich she's become.
- dwright99, on 03/23/2008, -0/+12What, too tired taking those 3am phone calls?
Have one of your staff take care of that and start learning to delegate.
Of course, you probably already knew that. - theaceoffire, on 03/23/2008, -1/+13https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/186 ...
- theaceoffire, on 03/23/2008, -0/+10Her "experience" says that being open will lose her this.
But then again, I would be ok with that. - ManoWar, on 03/23/2008, -0/+9she worked for Wal-Mart and did a lot for them. I bet they paid her very very well.
- AtHomeBoy2000, on 03/23/2008, -0/+9So, based on her explanation, she herself does every single tax return and keeps them in a safe only she has a key for.
I am betting they are done by a company and could be releasedwithin 2 days once she placed the call. - inactive, on 03/23/2008, -0/+9It's cause she keeps on answering those phones at 3 AM.
Which are probably her campaign spin doctors telling her the next BS way to try and cut Obama down. - csonger, on 03/23/2008, -0/+8I think that's exactly right. The Clintons were not rich before the presidency. They are now. Where that money came from is a valid question. They should also release donors to the Clinton presidential library.
- DeepFriedFetus, on 03/23/2008, -1/+9She's hiding her ineptitude.
- bjornski, on 03/23/2008, -0/+8Literally sleeping with the person who is funding her campaign.
- KudouUsagi, on 03/23/2008, -1/+8At first I was like "Wait there are adds on digg? o.o" So I tried to load this page in ie tab to see them and it crashed.
- inactive, on 03/23/2008, -0/+7Your liver, pancreas and intestines will give it a 0 though.

Put that in your /etc/hosts - inactive, on 03/23/2008, -1/+8I saw Horton Hears a Who last night... and I couldn't get over how much the Kangaroo was like Hillary. You really have to see it to know what I'm talking about.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp89dAtWxxo
- FemaCampBoy, on 03/23/2008, -2/+8thats an easy one but no one wants to listen. she doesn't want bill's pardon pay off money from hadge fund manager michael steinhardt revealed. it was used to get marc rich his pardon.
- hawkspur, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6I think where a candidate is receiving money from is more important than what countries a candidate has visited.
- brownrabbit, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6Probably this sort of thing: The Clinton Chronicles - http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-647045089 ...
- shortysmyname, on 03/23/2008, -1/+6This is stupid. I cannot believe that this is the best that you can come up with. The children are school age and I assume they have family to help. At least Obama released his returns, he has nothing to hide. How much does Hillary give to charity? You have no idea because she has secrets.
- inactive, on 03/23/2008, -1/+6Wow, you're a racist.
- pcghost, on 03/23/2008, -0/+5Quoting a racist to make a racist point makes him a racist.
- Arcueid01, on 03/23/2008, -2/+7Who cares? I think this is very relevant because I think that the American people have a right to know who is buying these people off. Obama, Clinton, and McCain all need to have their lives in the public eye. If they have a problem with it, then don't run for President. Simple as that!
- inactive, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4"Well, those aren't exactly schools for people who dont have a lot of money."
Yale and Georgetown both offer generous need-based financial aid. Especially Yale. - Schmapdi, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4"I would release my tax returns - but someone has to iron all these paint-suits!" - HRC
- inactive, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4"Barack said his Granny was a TYPICAL white person"
Link? - ManoWar, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4How many of you know that she worked for Wal-mart for many years?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuZhwV24PmM - mark1905, on 03/23/2008, -1/+5FIrefox + AdBlock plug in = no more annoying flash ads. Google it.
- bjornski, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4I think it's more along the lines of that since she's allowed to use a portion her spouses income for campaign finance, that the connections between Bill's speaking engagements, and the funds received to speak, are being shoved into her campaign. Give a $100,000 speech to [insert country or group here], and half that money can be shoved into her coffers.
- inactive, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4How the hell would transactions that took place 10 years ago show up on her 2007 returns?
- qwerter, on 03/23/2008, -1/+4She's a perfectionist. She needs the time to redact thousands of lines of information. It's the sort of thing that if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself.
- pak314, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3If she is evading then you pulled her too far, cannot reach you or is bugged.
- inactive, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3A burrito designed for lardasses in Iowa and Kentucky.
- reignrk, on 03/23/2008, -1/+4Seriously? You've got to be kidding me.
- hawkspur, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3Yes, we all fear the all-powerful meat lobby.
- MrNibs, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3every candidate has substantive information on their websites. If your confused by any policies that they stand for you can look it up. Presidential races are continual character assassinations. The person that deflects the most bullets wins. I think our country has too short an attention span to want hard facts. They like the National Enquirer version much better.
- lazyfisherman, on 03/23/2008, -0/+2Totally. If SPitzer can do that, Bill should be all over the Emperor's Club. Hillary too.
- V3NOM, on 03/23/2008, -0/+2Trojan. Don't follow the link.
