- jforjools, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3ALWAYS love reading perspectives from around the world--and the BBC is just great.
Quote of note: "probably today, but certainly within 48 hours, about 30 super-delegates will endorse Mr Obama. "
I'm an Obama supporter--and even I'm hesitant to believe that we'll get 30 SDs in a 48-hr period. But it would be great if we did.
Mathematically, HRC is 'done'--but she's not 'gone' yet. - inactive, on 05/07/2008, -0/+2Clinton, There's the door. now gtfo.
- thirdcoastborn, on 05/07/2008, -0/+2It would be nice if they all came out today.
- writerwriter, on 05/07/2008, -0/+2If there's any truth to the belief that there are other forces at work here, there is still every possibility that the 'rules' will be changed in order that Clinton is not out of the running. Don't count your chickens; the wolves are at the door for sure.
Obama, who would make a wonderful President and who is more of a President even campaigning than any President since JFK, is not a member of the big-hitter organisations. If he gets in, it will be due to some hefty deal-making in the back room. See President Carter for precedent. - ghassan, on 05/07/2008, -2/+1Duh!! Finally someone noticed that.
