Clinton did not raise 10mil in 24 hours: FEC reports

query.nictusa.com — According to this FEC report, Hillary raised only 4.3 million in the 48 hours following Pennsylvania. She raised 1.7 mil on April 23rd and 2.6 mil on April 24th. That's 5.7 million shy of her claim that she raised 10 million in the first 24 hours following that state's primary.

She only "won" the popular vote (even though by anybody's math she hasn't even done that) because she doesn't count the four states that are caucus states, my state of Washington included. Roughly 75% of the democratic vote went to Obama in my state and yet she doesn't even look at our results.
    She has crossed over from "politician" to "crazy lady who won't go away."

She said they were on track to raise 10 mil -- being "on track" isn't the same as actually doing it. They probably looked at how much they raised in the first few hours and extrapolated how much they would raise if that pace continued -- which of course it did not.

    The Clinton's drive me insane, but if there is one thing they do well, it is spin. They made Ohio look like a 10 point victory when she only won by 8 in the end. She made PA look like a 10 point victory, when she only won by 9. She used exaggerated fundraising claims to convince people she was having a comeback. Just like now, she's trying to convince us all that she's somehow ahead in the popular vote -- even though that is only true when you award Obama 0 votes for Michigan. And this morning, I heard one of her advisors on MSNBC making the argument that we should let polls decide the nominee!!!

Since Clinton's voter base isn't necessarily connected to independent sources of accurate information, they'll believe anything she tells them. Under fire in Bosnia? Sure. Ahead in the popular vote? Absolutely. Obama's a Muslim? Hillary didn't say otherwise--it might just be true!

She's all over TV, the classic(ally boring! Am I right??!?) internet sites like CNN.com, the radio, and I'm pretty sure she has her own wi-fi band. In fact, I wouldn't really be surprised if her campaign has, against all odds, invented a new medium just so they can get her name and face on more things.

    I'm not saying Obama isn't everywhere, but at least when people hear him, they seem to reach for their pocketbooks, not their ear plugs.

    What an extraordinarily mismanaged campaign. She can't even count her own money, now she wants to run the country? Well as I doubt she's willing to pour her own money into our debt crisis, I'd rather have someone who knows the slightest thing about managing money to run our nation.

    This is actually their plausible deniability. They could have had a lot of those smaller donations come in during that 24 hrs after Penn, but it would have shown up on the FEC reports as coming in on the last day of the month.

    I'll forgive a candidate, McCain, Hillary or Obama, for some verbal slip ups here and there. Each and every word I speak is not recorded, uploaded to youtube, and scrutinized by legions of people from the media, blogosphere and general public. If they were, I'd certainly make my share of misstatements too. Of course, knowing every word I speak is going to be combed through, would also keep me from blatantly making ***** up that isn't true.
