Gore also chose that dastardly prick Lieberman for veep, and what he got for that was a "kiss-kiss" debate with the monster Cheney, and a stab in the back about the invalid mail-in ballots in Florida. Face it, Gore had a political tin ear, and not enough confidence to know what to do in that campaign.
