- uptown, on 05/23/2008, -0/+4The five stages of grief:
1. Denial: Declaring that she will be the President, or offering Obama the VP spot while she was trailing in the polls.
2. Anger: Her "Meet me in Ohio" angry rant.
3. Bargaining: I guess we're here now.
4. Depression:
5. Acceptance:
Three down .... two to go. - tcbishop12, on 05/23/2008, -0/+2No to Hillary. Not mean, not hateful, but just respectfully: No thank you.
No, really. No thank you.
Thanks for offering to be the VP, Hills, how very, very kind, thoughtful and considerate of you, but no.
No. Really. I couldn't impose on you like that.
No thank you.
No thank you very much. - bluevillage, on 05/23/2008, -0/+2CNN at the end of this same report also said that Axelrod said it was not true.
- uptown, on 05/23/2008, -0/+2That she won't be the VP, or that they're not in talks?
The more I think about it, I don't see any reason why he should offer her the spot. Once he selects his VP all of the media will be talking about him or her. There won't be a reason to talk about Hillary anymore because it'll be settled, and the media will move on to the new story. - ADVIZR, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1Sorry for the dupe! /added link to this one
- ADVIZR, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1I don't know. I've thought about that too. I think it's more like Clinton is in 1, 2, 3, and 4, all at once.
