- grlykool, on 10/20/2008, -0/+33OMG McCain supporters acting like an unruly mob!!! Who would have thunk it. Remember McCain supporters are the "REAL" Americans. The are the most Christianist like and all that jazz! Heil Palin!
- reallyandrea, on 10/20/2008, -0/+30This is just shameful in 2008. It's simply shameful.
- skertso, on 10/20/2008, -0/+27As goes the campaign do the people that support them go. McCain/Palin should be ashamed of the anger and hate they have instigated with the negative campaigning they are doing. How pathetic the entire bunch are and how sad this has all become.
- Shabadoo, on 10/20/2008, -0/+26"Cheaters". That's rich considering the reports of electronic voting machines outright SWITCHING votes from Obama to McCain....
- inactive, on 10/20/2008, -0/+22This is just disgusting. I'm outraged that McCain and Palin don't seem to be doing much of anything about the lynch mob-like behavior of some of their supporters.
- springfels, on 10/20/2008, -0/+19BULLYING AND COERCION BY AN ANGRY MOB::
It is disgusting that these people are upset at others having the time to vote. As well there are tax dollars saved by needing less voting machines and spaces to vote.
There are people with children walking thru this gauntlet to go vote...how would anyone explain this to their children? This is nothing less than intimidation and bullying and against everything our Constitution is about. And shall we start the Christian values discussion here too?
Lastly, you have to applaud that single man with the Obama shirt holding his own among the loonies. - Anomaly100, on 10/20/2008, -0/+16Palin/McCain have stirred this up to a boiling point. These are the patriotic Americans? McCain would get a lot more respect if he would say something about all of the hate in the air that's been brewing for awhile, but, he just won't. He won't let himself be held accountable for any of this. He's proud of his supporters!! How could anyone be proud of this?!
- sullivanst, on 10/20/2008, -0/+16Because a mob heckling voters on their way into the polls is so much more acceptable than someone wearing an Obama T-shirt in line to vote.
- lgoodman, on 10/20/2008, -0/+13 I can't understand the basic premise of this. Protesting... voters? VOTERS? What???
What could possibly be going through the minds of the people who do this, ... what could possibly make them think this is a good idea? ''Oh, no, there go a bunch of people exercising one of their fundamental rights as citizens, a right which is foundational to our democracy and in support of our basic liberty, freedom, and form of government... gee, I better get over there and let the world know that I think this is not a good idea....???'' (sarcasm) Is that what they're thinking? Because I just do not get it. I cannot wrap my mind around it. - thenekkidtruth, on 10/20/2008, -0/+11The Reichswing HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATES voting. As Republican trailblazer Paul Weyrich put it in the '80s:
"Now many of our Christians have what I call the goo-goo syndrome -- good government. They want everybody to vote. I don't want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people, they never have been from the beginning of our country and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down." - zedkitty, on 10/21/2008, -0/+10We must speak now with our votes or risk being silenced forever....
- charm803, on 10/21/2008, -0/+5Brave Obama supporter in the middle of loonies.
Disturbing videos! - Batfishy, on 10/21/2008, -0/+3I don't get it either. It's the weirdest thing. Maybe they are deeply afraid and gathering in angry, fired up groups is the only thing they actually can do, useless as it was. I can't imagine what they are afraid of.
Today I was forced to listen to hate radio for about 40 minutes. I didn't say a word but I thought my heart was going to fail a few times. Anyway, not once was anything good said about McCain. The entire show was hate-based lies. I haven't had the pleasure of listening to this before. Everyone around me agreed with and believed what they heard.
Those people in the clip listen to that same crap ON PURPOSE. At least, as far as crowds go, it wasn't that big. - Theodora12, on 10/22/2008, -0/+2Any public figure who would use his or her power to incite angry mobs has serious psychological problems. John McCain and Sarah Palin, there is no sane, ethical justification for your behavior.
This is frighteningly reminiscent of Nazi Germany. - Phylter, on 10/23/2008, -0/+1They won't condemn this, it's what they WANT, it's their goal, and they want rioting & assaults at the polls, to frighten away honest citizens from exorcising their rights.
These people are the enemies of our Republic and we have to repudiate their fascist brown-shirt tactics with our votes. - commanche, on 10/25/2008, -0/+0This is what causes assisnation plots. This is the right wing at it's best. Do Not Bring your children!!!!
