- sheasie, on 08/21/2008, -8/+90Cheney needs to be tried for treason and war crimes. It's that simple.
- CloakandSwagger, on 08/21/2008, -4/+77They'll never go after Cheney. Ha, they can't even get Karl Rove's fat ass to show up. Rumsfeld was equally evasive with his criminal activities and was never held accountable for his supposed "war on waste" initiated by an estimated $2 trillion dollars that suddenly went missing on Sep 10th, 2001.
That should be the dead give-away that they are criminals, blatantly disrespecting our justice system now, what makes you think they actually cared for it in the past?
Regardless, this is barely the tip of the iceberg, my friends.
Even with further investigating, which is unlikely to happen, how many Americans do you think will be aware of any of this?
How many Americans have the time, energy, attention spans, and basic ability to comprehend the severity of the situation?
The mainstream cable news networks aren't going anywhere near this story and our justice system has been turned into a joke; nobody wants to make a scene. It's all fun and games to them at our expense. - nmezib, on 08/21/2008, -4/+52There's a BBC documentary called "The Power of Nightmares" which takes a look at the neoconservative movement in America and radical Islam in the Middle East and how they made make-believe enemies of each other just to retain power over their respective domains. Very, very interesting to watch, and you all should check it out.
In it, it provides background on the forging of the letter linking Saddam to 9/11, just because the neocons needed an enemy to "protect" us from, and keep us under their power. After 9/11, the US rallied (almost) singularly under G.W. Bush, but lie after lie, they felt their power slipping, so Saddam had to be made a very real enemy. Made up WMDs, made up ties to Al Qaeda (which apparently didn't exist until we gave a name to it), and made up links to 9/11 did the trick... sort of... until this ***** happened.
But the BBC can do a much better job at explaining it than I can.
It's just sad how much of a circus our justice system has become. I've lost faith and am ready for a change. - Bloodwine, on 08/22/2008, -4/+54September 1st, Never Forget.
- HalleBurton, on 08/20/2008, -4/+32Who wouldn't like to take a tour of Cheney's man-sized safe?
- inactive, on 08/22/2008, -1/+28Does anybody gives a ***** anymore? Am I the only ***** person in this country who wants honest & respectful government? We can do better than this folks. We deserve better than Bush & McCain.
- Glofern, on 08/21/2008, -5/+22I just started to read Ron Suskind's book, "The Way of the World," which this info is based on - and I can say that he is a great writer and with a very engaging read. I enjoy reading good writing.
- inactive, on 08/22/2008, -5/+21It makes you wonder what other lies about 9/11 were fed to the public.
- mrinsanity, on 08/22/2008, -4/+19I wish there was more MSM coverage of Cheney's everlasting douchebaggery.
- D1ckFace, on 08/22/2008, -3/+18Dear Peasants,
You know that I am invicible and untouchable. I have taken over your country, your government and your morals. I have turned you against yourselves, and other people and this will lead to your demise while I remain in power to do what the ***** I like. You are all sheep that wonder into the night in a herd without the slightest idea what the ***** is going on and I laugh at you. I and my team create the elemet of fear, if you are fearful then we can get you to do anything and be very passive with your feeble resistance to new laws that take away your rights. And we will continue to do this for as long as you remain collective sheep addicted to TV, games and sex.
Signed,
Dick Cheney - jstohler, on 08/21/2008, -0/+14Not me -- there's probably a dead man in there.
- JeremyGrieves, on 08/22/2008, -1/+15Wait for "I do not recall" to be used 100 times before everything is forgotten again.
- JeremyGrieves, on 08/22/2008, -0/+13Preaching to the choir.
- m0tbaillie, on 08/22/2008, -3/+15***** Dick Cheney.
- mofw, on 08/22/2008, -0/+10You can take a tour any time you'd like, but you can never leave
- inactive, on 08/22/2008, -1/+11People had better stop asking questions of Bush and Co or they will start a war with Russia and nuke us all so there will be no one left around to ask questions!
- publiclurker, on 08/22/2008, -0/+8I'm sure a lot of the really good stuff was inadvertently destroyed in that "accidental" fire some time ago.
- wejmahtin, on 08/22/2008, -1/+9Come on. This is no surprise. The sad truth of the matter is our government will never do anything about it.
- maximilen, on 08/22/2008, -0/+8Tom Clancy already wrote about this... 20 years ago.
- wejmahtin, on 08/22/2008, -0/+7If anyone missed it, it's an awesome documentary. Highly recommended.

'This film explores the origins in the 1940s and 50s of Islamic Fundamentalism in the Middle East, and Neoconservatism in America, parallels between these movements, and their effect on the world today. From the introduction to Part 1:
"Both [the Islamists and Neoconservatives] were idealists who were born out of the failure of the liberal dream to build a better world. And both had a very similar explanation for what caused that failure. These two groups have changed the world, but not in the way that either intended. Together, they created today's nightmare vision of a secret, organized evil that threatens the world. A fantasy that politicians then found restored their power and authority in a disillusioned age. And those with the darkest fears became the most powerful." - dforty3, on 08/22/2008, -0/+7Don't watch this video!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feIraieervY&feature ... - D1ckFace, on 08/22/2008, -0/+7The media is controlled by them - if you want the truth don't get your news from the mainstream media outlets. If you want to be a sheep then carry on, dear citizen.
- Thinbev, on 08/22/2008, -1/+8Allowing the government investigate to themselves for wrongdoing is like allowing Enron to investigate themselves for wrongdoing.
Why do people accept anything the government tells us? Isn't it obvious that they'll do everything to cover their own ass? It makes no sense... - Rixar13, on 08/22/2008, -3/+10Cheney falsely tried to connect Iraq to 9/11 and was the biggest foreign policy blunder in history on the backs of the American people. History will judge this evil appropriately.
- omenmedia, on 08/22/2008, -2/+7"I have become very concerned with the possibility that this Administration may have violated federal law by using the resources of our intelligence agencies to influence domestic policy processes or opinion"
NO... REALLY? YOU DON'T SAY? This administration is the most corrupt in history, and they are all getting away with it, day after day after day. - allowners, on 08/22/2008, -0/+5Somehow the dog ate all the evidence, what a sad mishap.
- ajb2015, on 08/22/2008, -0/+5like anything will ever happen. no one cares. it sucks.
- D1ckFace, on 08/22/2008, -0/+5great (but disturbing) video
- D1ckFace, on 08/22/2008, -0/+5No, the people must do somehting about it. Don't forget, they work for YOU and the more people realise they are nothing but freeloading douchebags the sooner they can be binned and then have a real governmet without corruption and lies.
- D1ckFace, on 08/22/2008, -1/+6More than you will let yourself acknowlegde. The truth is plainly there, taking it in and beleiving that the government could be involed to the level they did is the hard part because most people are invested in their system. If it turns out that they are the real enemy and the great deceivers, then there's a lot to lose on an individual level having been allied to them all your life.
- omenmedia, on 08/22/2008, -0/+5It's more of a case of what actually wasn't a lie... the official account is full to the brim with deception, distortion and omission.
- kevinwiz, on 08/22/2008, -0/+5You were doing great until you said "my friends."
John McCain flashed in my mind.
I agree with you though. - nblsavage, on 08/22/2008, -1/+6You know, this is why we have things called "investigations".
- zachimal, on 08/22/2008, -0/+5Actually he needs to be tried along with Bush for conspiracy to murder. Vincent Bugliosi lays it out very clearly in his new book. He's the prosecutor who put Charles Manson away.
- d1a1s1, on 08/22/2008, -1/+6Spoken like a true righty. I swear I can pick you guys out in a crowd. Always seem to be big old babies that wont listen to anything other than the other babies. As soon as someone crosses your narrow minds you strike out with vicious remarks. Sad really.
- omenmedia, on 08/22/2008, -1/+6I risk sounding like a parrot, but for anyone who doesn't believe that their government would be capable of being complicit in such attacks, google "Operation Northwoods". This was a legitimate, verified, and well-documented plan to stage a false flag attack in which innocent lives would be lost.
- m0tbaillie, on 08/22/2008, -0/+4That would require balls of some sort.
- yoshman, on 08/22/2008, -0/+4Only one?
- pyronik, on 08/22/2008, -0/+4at least you dont.. beat around the bush.. ha
- D1ckFace, on 08/22/2008, -0/+4It will happen when enough people get pissed off with them.
- inactive, on 08/22/2008, -0/+4Oh, sweet...It's kinda like the Hotel California, then!

- dafragsta, on 08/22/2008, -1/+4I think no man has looked so much like a douche as Scooter Libby.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzuamUI2zYM - ap0616, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3It seems that Conyers may have found a path to impeachment that won't get him in trouble also. Can't wait for the hearings...if they take place.
- TheJimid, on 08/22/2008, -1/+4"Which one of us forged it?"
- Ageroth, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3well. i guess its been re posted
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrpNBPTm6G0&feature ... - craigharley, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3I'm no expert but there something in the UN that stops people declaring war over false evidence (japan invaded Manchuria on the basis that the Chinese blew up a Japanese railroad, which was later found to be untrue, the league failed to punish Japan for varying reasons and proved itself to be weak). If there if there is not then why isn't there... shouldn't the UN try to listen to the failures of the league of nations and stop things like this from happening?
- purelithium, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2How about a Cheney-sized Man safe?
