- grgkitson, on 10/29/2007, -0/+33We would lose a lot more men than people think, Iran has some quite advanced russian technology.
- Louie510, on 10/10/2007, -1/+32The digg brigade wussies buried this from the top spot again. This article was number one with just 81 diggs and somehow has gotten replaced. When will censorship cease? Maybe when the Pentagon stops signing the digg brigade's paychecks...
- xrox, on 10/10/2007, -0/+27Yep it started this weekend, the dumbest looking al ciaduh clips on Fox you'll ever see. They all were very fair skinned and even had women in black hoods. They really do think we're stupid!
- SilentJay74, on 10/10/2007, -0/+23Hey, this is what all you idiots get who voted for Bush and Cheney. These ***** ***** should be tried as war criminals.

- kayaker712, on 10/10/2007, -1/+22These idiots better watch their step. Russia might just get tired of all this one day and "accidentally" drop a nuke on Tel Aviv thus removing the impetus for all these middle eastern wars.
If the economy tank the Chines might even preempt the whole thing with a missile.
This crap benefits no one.
Impeach these war criminals! - wreckosaurus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+21Free press is a fundamental pillar of a functioning democracy. What we have is little more than propaganda, and this is a perfect example. Rather than following the will of the people, this administration uses their puppet media to control the peoples' will. Nobody wants war with iran, but that'll change soon enough thanks to fox news' scare tactics. How can a nation vote in free elections when their only source of information is lies and misinformation? If it weren't for fox news, George Bush would not be president today, and I don't think we would have invaded Iraq. The corporate media is the greatest threat to our country.
"To control a nation, simply give me the newspapers. I'd have no need for the army." - MrGrinchstick, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21When will the idiots who say "Glass it over!" and "Kill them filthy Iranians!" realize that we are killing men who are doing there job, in their own Country.
Just like the people on 9/11 were slaughtered just so these sick ***** can slaughter more people.
The people running this scam are traitors, including the media. - bushesbitch, on 10/10/2007, -0/+19wasn,t this on the front page ???? what the ***** ??? digg sucks ***** !!
- ronheri, on 10/10/2007, -0/+19What will stop these neo-con crazies?
- Jockdoe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+18Its buried already, it's a joke, one day others might get some news that's uncensored.
- LosingRLiberty, on 10/10/2007, -0/+18Digg: why are you doing the censoring? I thought your site is to allow us to do the digging/burying for ourselves...
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19Carrying out these orders constitutes Murder. Only in war will God hold us unaccountable for murdering--and that probably only applies to military personnel. Whether you work for Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, or any other media outlet or political office, whether you are an anchormen, writer, cameraman, etc, decide today if breaking God's commandment is worth it.
Where are you going to draw the line? - chriskendall1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15a sneak peek at digg's new corporate identity:
http://web.timesrecordnews.com/rigged.html - theelectricafro, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15More of the same old, same old.
- chriskendall1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15diggriggers!
- Jockdoe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15I suppose the title of the article explains the new phase in news censorship. So digg, how much is Cheney's office paying you?
- snotrokit, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14I really wish the American public was smart enough to realize what is going on .
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14fox and cnn and really all of the networks will be held responsible for not informing the public of the take-over of the united states. the people of america are waking up, they are coming to understand what has been happening and as soon as we the people blogging and protesting redirect our efforts to going out into the community and talking to the people, they will see the effect of an educated populace. get out there and talk to the men, women and children of your communities. speak rationally, and be polite. do not attack anyone (unless they deserve it). speak to them about the loss of our rights, speak to them about the legalization of torture in our own prisons, everyone knows someone in prison. we must make this a personal thing and show people how the things happening in iraq and iran and around the world does affect them. show them the proof of their camps and their policies that legalize the internment of citizens for protesting the iraq war. good luck.
thank you for reading.

- Shink, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14Everyone needs to migrate over to RIGGD.COM and let the techies and bury brigade ***** keep this hellhole.
- Vinadetta, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12I'm tired of being lied and led with fear into war!!! Something has to change and it needs to change soon!!! I'm tired of having my countrymen's blood spilled for corporate profits!!!

- 1776jedi, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12This is insane! They're going to start WWIII and get this country thoroughly destroyed like Germany. Once we attack Iran China or Russia or both will jump on us so fast it will be the end of America!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+14Yes, because as we all know the government controls the media in the U.S.
- Shink, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11All these warhawk ***** need to drop their *****, grab their socks and go fight these OCCUPATIONS for themselves.
- BuckQJohnson, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Sell an attack on Iran, sell an attack on Iran. What a joke, I think these guys are destroying this country on purpose. We are in a quagmire in Iraq and a no win situation in Afghanistan and now they are thinking about attacking Iran. A 75 million person country that is the most mountainous in that part of the world, in fact it will be hard for tanks to be affective in this terrain. Also they have not been degraded for a decade in regards to there military. they have bought alot of high end anti-ship and anti-aircraft missiles to defend themselves.
I think Iran have learned from us by what we did to Iraq on two separate wars, that is to take out our ability to use air and sea assets. They are thinking about launching a massive air bombardment without troops, what a academic study. They probably believe that they will be able to get the populace to go against the govt. once we start to bomb Iran. Many of the Iranians think they should have nuclear power. Why is it that only certain countries are able and others aren't, I wil tell you why.
Because if Iran becomes nuclear, it will chance the power structure of the region. Many of the arab countries will start there own nuclear program or kotow to Iran for there protection. And this is what we are afraid of, Iran will be able to dictate a behavior that others will follow out of fear or out of support for the regime. An example would be that if Iran decides to talk the other arab countries to price oil in either there script or a new opec unit so as to lessen the dollar influence and decline. This would end the petrodollar hegemony. Or it will embolden countries that where cowed by us to become more demanding of things or treaties because they would have a nuclear arab ally behind them.
We are doing what Osama Bin Laden wanted us to do. To attack and occupy muslim countries because he knew what was our fatal flaw, (ignorance, hubris, pride, arrogance, and Narcissism rolled into one). He knew that we would overreact and attack everybody and anybody that looked at us wrong. And we are going down this road to another muslim country just to say that bush has a win.
And I can't wait until history is written about the media's hand in all of this. They should be ashamed for what they have become, a propaganda arm (Ministry of Information). - chriskendall1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10right on!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9...and achieve exactly what the bury brigade want; i.e. driving truth from digg
- DiggaNiggaz, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10I agree with MajorD. Good and proper articulation bespeaks intelligence. Simply by taking some extra time to make coherent and grammatically correct statements will push our message that much farther along. It would certainly help to contradict the belief that we in the infowar are all "a bunch of idiots."

- BreakTheB0x, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Wake up people, Iran has connections. Not to mention the fact that Russia and China won't stand for any more meddling in the region of their oil supply.
I think the Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto said it best- “A brilliant man would find a way not to fight a war.”
Too bad brilliant men aren't running our country. - 1776jedi, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Naw, man This is America not France. We need to hang 'em high from a tall oak tree.

- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6I think the bury brigade would be very happy if we all left Digg. What people should do is start using Digg properly; i.e. as their main news channel.
- MrGrinchstick, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Bust an end run and digg the MSM article!!!!!
- OrganicDrew, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I THINK THAT PEOPLE ARE MISSING THE BOAT ON THE POINT OF THIS STORY
THE POINT IS BLATANTLY: THE VICE PRESIDENT IS " INSTRUCTING THE MEDIA WHAT TO SAY FOR AN INTENDED AGENDA " this is not only a clear violation of the first amendment, but it also clearly outlines WHO is in bed with WHO as the saying goes.
THE VICE PRESIDENT DOES NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY, NOR DOES THE PRESIDENT, CONGRESS, THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SUPREME COURT ! OR ANYONE HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO TELL THE PRESS WHAT THEY CAN AND CAN NOT SAY !!!!
SUCH ACTION WOULD BE AS JEFFERSON PUT IT "..A GREATER THREAT TO OUR COUNTRY THAN STANDING ARMY'S." - Thomas Jefferson
now it is assumed that the cooperate media stand to gain in reporting such news, and by cooperate media I do not mean the journalist them selfs but the 5 owners that control 95% of all media in this country these people include : ALL MEMBERS of THE (CFR) COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS "non federal think tank" The owners of Disney, GE, and of course Rupert Murdock's EMPIRE, bill gates, the builderburgs and others
with such overwhelming benefit its no wonder their is a top down strangle hold on what the media is allowed to say,
JOURNALIST EVERYWHERE IN THE FACE OF WHAT COULD VERY WELL BE WORLD WAR # 3 "the end all of humanity" have a responsibility to not only our country but the very HUMAN RACE as we know it, to tell the truth and not be forced into lies and propoganda from top down "AUTHORITIES" !
that is all i am going to say now, you people had better wake up now before its too late! and when you do, you better tell your friends family to not let this happen..
I WILL NOT FIGHT IN AN UN-CONSTITUTIONAL WAR!!! , AND I AM THE MOST PATRIOTIC PERSON FOR SAYING THAT !! - MrGrinchstick, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Dave V you silly bitch you were being sarcastic and look it got dugg.
Your so dumb your accusing me of drinking the Kool-aid with red around your mouth and on your shirt. - freecon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3You should have seen the propaganda films that the Texas GOP forced delegates to watch during the recent Straw Poll. One tied the Democrats to the KKK, but most were pro-war! Yeah, War is now conservative.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I don't care how they go to Hell, I just hope they go there sooner than later.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3The content of the message is far more important than it's grammatical appearance. Those who are more interested in superficial standards are likely not going to ever escape the mainstream media brainwashing anyway. That aside, I do encourage people to try and write to a higher standard, but let's just not be too picky about the small grammatical mistakes people make here.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2What will they care? They're all moving to Dubai.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2"Only in war will God hold us unaccountable for murdering"
Why do you think that? Did God say he wouldn't hold people accountable for their actions in war? Does "I was just following orders" seem like an excuse that the God of the Bible would accept? The biblical God doesn't care if your "superior" will imprison or even kill you for not committing extremely unethical acts. Mt 10:28 - "Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." -
