- ianconley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+62Let's not jump the gun, kids: Not EVERY gay prostitute who sells crystal meth hangs out with republicans. That's such a ***** generalization. Gay prostitutes who sell crystal meth are, deep down, great human beings. Just because they ***** around with republicans doesn't mean you can beat them into the ground like this.
- hockeysk8, on 10/12/2007, -0/+53Why is it always those that shout the loudest about morality always have the most bones rattlin' around in the closet?
- sizzam, on 10/12/2007, -3/+52Ahhh yes, the poophole loophole.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+48And a sphincter massage
- oOLiquidNightOo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+48".. at no time did i discharge .."
- waynechng, on 10/12/2007, -0/+46Bought meth, didn't use it and threw it away.
Got a massage from a man, by choice, and no sexual encounter.
Received accusation and immediately suspended himself from church indefinitely.
I smell a fish, Pastor Ted. - oOLiquidNightOo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+43"I smell a fish, Pastor Ted."
that ain't fish you're smelling. - copernic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+41That's hilarious. He bought meth and got a massage. That's it.
- beanfeast, on 10/12/2007, -0/+37As a meth-selling gay prostitute, I resent the accusation that it is possible that I don't hang out with republicans. I also resent the implication that the meth that I sell republicans are for anything other than research. The republican anal massages I give (I am licenced), especially for evangelicals, are free with the purchase of meth, so the insinuation that Mr Haggard PAID for the anal massages is, in a word, incorrect.
- guregu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+37They are projecting their self-hatred onto others.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+33It was funny how he denied everything until the reporter started questioning him about undeniable evidence. His responses were literally laughable and pathetic. The fact that he holds back the truth until it is forced out of him goes against everything Evangelicals stand for if I understand correctly.
- Ruckgesicht, on 10/12/2007, -0/+33It's called a partial admission to guilt. It's a face-saving technique people employ to simultaneously own up to charges against them while accepting as little of those charges as possible.
In other words, it's *****. But you can probably tell by the video. I mean, he got referred by a hotel he forgot the name of to a gay prostitute who gave him a back massage and somehow the conversation with a pastor of a mega-church turned into meth and illegal drugs and then the pastor bought some, left multiple voice mail messages and then threw the drugs away. You can't get closer to implausible than that. Except maybe the Flying Spaghetti Monster. - mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32Lmao, this news is truly demoralizing to gay prostitutes around the nation.
- elroy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+30You could maybe buy $5 worth of meth and not use it. You don't buy $200 worth and not use it. $200 is enough to binge all week long.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+30no i can not see how you become curious about the most dangerous drug in the us right now.
Oh maybe some pot, even coke.. but METH???
I just dont see meth as the gateway drug. - BlackAle, on 10/12/2007, -4/+33there's nothing immoral about homosexuality, the issue with this guy is his blatent hypocrisy.
- riots, on 10/12/2007, -0/+28Maybe Haggard will learn from this and change his tune to something less hateful and intolerant.
/me runs a search on the track record of fundamentalists and evangelists learning from their mistakes.
Conclusion: a snowballs chance in hell. - candiru, on 10/12/2007, -1/+27you gotta be kidding.
- rokinroj, on 10/12/2007, -2/+26As a resident of Colorado Springs I can tell you that this is huge news here locally, but now seems to be spreading into a more national story. He has a flock here of over 11,000 people. They have a HUGE campus and they overfill it every weekend, so much so that they have to put up tents to house the overflow.
I couldn't be happier to have the hypocrisies uncovered right here in my backyard. The conservatives are a huge force here in Colorado Springs between Haggard's New Life Church and the Focus on the Family group also being headquartered here. I think its about time they had a heapin' helping of shut the ***** up with all the morality *****. - hardwareguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23No, but the gay meth guy does it so much better
- dustko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_projection :
"A defense mechanism in which the individual attributes to other people impulses and traits that he himself has but cannot accept. It is especially likely to occur when the person lacks insight into his own impulses and traits."
"Projection is the opposite defence mechanism to identification. We project our own unpleasant feelings onto someone else and blame them for having thoughts that we really have." - Suits, on 10/12/2007, -4/+22GAY Porn Star Interviewing President. Remember James Dale Guckert?
Republican Representatives having GAY sex with page's, before voting no less.
Highly respected RIGHT WING Religious leader having GAY sex with Gay Meth head Whores.
And this is just a few GAY Headlines/Happening's in this REPUBLICAN ADMINISTRATION. Who's next? Cheney and Bush? You know they're *****, under that Rainbow Terror Alert System.
Besides OIL, all you ever hear coming from this administration is people pretending not to be gay, not that theirs anything wrong with that, being gay. I Guess this administration needs all that oil to lube themselves up with all the great gay sex they're having.
All above mentioned aside, Remember. American Values, American Values. That's what this administration is all about. Vote GOP! (GAY OLD PEODOPHILES) 2008! - reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18So his wife refused to give massages?
- Barlo_Mung, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17This guy was featured in the Richard Dawkins film "Root of all evil" that I just watched today.
Amazing
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQ8_bIji7gQ - guregu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17His wife offered but a third arm really gives an extra special massage.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Because he wants to provide endless entertainment for the rest of us. I envision the entire world joining hands to laugh about our country's politics right about now..
- qishi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16What a coincidence. I download gig after gig of porn, but what do I do? Straight to the trash. None of that stuff for me. In fact, the Windows Recycle Bin is my download folder. Diggers, thanks for your work.
- Meadow113, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Well his followers are the same people who believe that Benny Hinn cures people of brain cancer on stage, so they might believe he did throw the meth away
- jdog2050, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16It's funny because he used basically the worst excuse possible--"nothing happened"
For instance, you've just walked out of a notorious massage parlor/brothel and run into a friend.
"Hey, what were you doing in there?"
"Oh, they give fantastic massages"
"Yeah, they give a fantastic bunch of other stuff too"
"I know, I know, but I just love their massages, that's all"
"...right, well, see ya at church"
So this guy bought one of the worst drugs in america, and didn't use it, and also had the hotel "recommend" a massage therapist and that was all. Now, if you know anything about hotel sex, having the hotel "recommend" a massage therapist is tantamount to asking for a prostitute unless they *work for the hotel*. - UGM2099, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16What's most interesting is his eye movements towards the end of the interview. He is accessing a prepared internal statement rather than remembering facts.
Observe this piece of reference on eye cues:
http://markjryan.com/eyeaccessing/eye_cues_chart.gif - rokinroj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16"he didn't harm anyone else."
Agreed, he didn't actually physically harm anyone, but there has to be some accountability for the amount of hate he was spreading behind the facade. He stands in front of 11,000 people and preaches and teaches that gays are wrong, gays are evil, gays are going to hell, gay marriage will ruin the world, etc. And then leaves the service drives 90 minutes north and does some drugs with a gay male prostitute before having gay sex with him.
Is there any harm done there when 11,000 people cannot trust and believe in the things their church is telling them anymore? - zerocomm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15everyone knows this is bs why doesnt he just admit to it
- guregu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16@drjborg
I'm not even remotely religious and I have heard of this guy before. He certainly is well-known enough to have been featured in Time Magazine.
http://www.time.com/time/press_releases/article/0,8599,1022576,00.html - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16What a ***** hypocrite.
- dustko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15That's right. It's a big story for the same reason as Foley -- these men by their own design purport to claim these actions as evil and immoral, when really they're just a product of good old fashioned reverse projection. It really makes me wonder how many of the people out there who claim to be advocating a fierce morality, concerning themselves with others so much; what they are actually like behind closed doors.
In my view these people only serve to segregate society and build walls between us all, when in the end it comes down to their personal self-battle, and their inability to accept themselves. I'm sure this guy was a good christian and all of that, a nice guy all in all, but he put himself in this position the moment he decided to take the moral highground in order to convince himself (through others) that he wasn't what he is. - dustko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15This video is great. It should be a case study in microexpressions. Watch it again when the reporter asks "Did you ever have sex with him" at 1.51, his mini-horror that is quickly replaced by the overbearing smile. The whole thing is as fake as the grinning "but _thankyou_, for your work". I love that bit. Thankyou for grilling me, I really appreciate it. The man was so over his head in lies delivered with a smile that he even felt the need to lie about how great the interview was.
- UGM2099, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15@drjborg
That is too rich. A right wing icon has a major downfall and conservative papers point out how he had liberal (and in this case rational) tendencies on a couple issues? The same people disowned Foley in a similar fashion and it's just pathetic. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14It makes it easier to hide..
If you act feminine and yet are a gay basher, people wont think you are gay, just strange.
It is hiding behind faux indignation.. - Dested, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16Would a man sooo against gay marriage and gay rights actually even consider "gay" (anal) relations sex? I smell a loophole that will be uncovered soon enough. Mark my words.
- geronimo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13"Have you used meth?"
"No I have not"
"And did you have sex with him"
"No I did not"
So he had sex with a male prostitute high on meth. And he talks to our president. - jackspade, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Man, I love what's going on in our country now. It seems like everyone has lost their ***** mind. Just about every aspect of our society has become a farce. Remember that Simpson's episode with Stephen Hawkins where Dr. Hibbert asks, "Why do we live in a town where the smartest have no power and the stupidest run everything", Well I find myself asking that question everyday.
- Cannon13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12• A liar will use your words to make answer a question. When asked, “Did you eat the last cookie?” The liar answers, “No, I did not eat the last cookie.”
•A statement with a contraction is more likely to be truthful: “ I didn't do it” instead of “I did not do it” - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12I think thou protest too much..
It is called hiding in plain sight.
Look at foley, he was extremly anti pedophile and yet he frequently went after underage kids
- Barlo_Mung, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Ted, if you're reading this (could happen, who thought you would buy meth?), let go of the thought that you will burn in hell for this.
Gay sex is not a crime (ok, small crime if you paid for it) but let it go. There is no heaven which means there is no hell. Pull your self up by your boot straps and make the best you can of the rest of your life.
It's all you've really got. - hardwareguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11How could he refuse?
It was buy meth, get free massage sale!
Think of it, relax your mind and body all at the same time - gamemaker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11What a bald-faced liar. Did you see him totally losing it at the end, when he realized he was trapped in his own lies? About the "hotel massage referral" to this male prostitute? He knew that if he named the hotel the reporter would check it.
What an appropriate spokesman for the religious nutbars who insist on denying the plain-as-day scientific fact of evolution. This guy was such an obvious sleaze in the Dawkins film ... this guys *deserves* to be internationally humiliated.
Amazing that his wife is standing by him so far. Sure would like to hear what she's saying to him in private! - brishchik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Freud would've had so many field days if he was alive now.
- guregu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12I feel sad for his wife. Unfortunately, many self-hating gays and lesbians feel the need to marry to cover up their true feelings. Nobody wins in situations like this. If some segments of society didn't brow beat the idea that being gay is wrong into so many people, things like this wouldn't happen.
- jellygraph, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11LOL... hey man, I'm a pastor and for no reason, out of the blue, I totally just felt like buying meth. That's hilarious!
- isemism, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11As a resident of Colorado Springs also, Id just like to see less churches that resemble Wal*Mart in form and function. Maybe this is what it takes for the Sheeple here to start seeing the light...
