- tajitj, on 05/03/2008, -4/+48The people still have a choice if they are sick of the other 3. Look into what he believes, you will be surprised how much you agree with him.

- CurtisLow101, on 05/03/2008, -5/+46Dr. Paul must win or this country we call home is doomed.
- Kent4jmj, on 05/03/2008, -4/+44By the way I threw another 10 bucks at Paul as a campaign contribution. Thought maybe we should keep that going as well.
- Kent4jmj, on 05/03/2008, -3/+42Second very positive interview in the past few days. Nice. Why? Not that I'm complaining but it is curious.
- MrXfromPlanetX, on 05/03/2008, -4/+42Getting involved with a Ron Paul meetup group http://ronpaul.meetup.com has changed my life. I learned from other people in the group who have been trying to change the Republican Party, how the political system really works. Here's an example http://alternativeconservative.com/caucus
I didn't make Delegate this year, but maybe I will in a couple of years. The one important thing is, I at least know who my precinct delegates are in my neighborhood (except for one they're all over 65). These are the people who vote on who winds up on the ballot for the Congress and the Senate. This is how we can each clean up our own party. Do you see how important this is?
Even if someone doesn't want to be a delegate, we all need to start showing up for caucuses whether for the Democratic Party or the Republican Party. We need to know who our delegates are, so we can at least present them with information.
I'm buying a copy of http://iraqforsale.org and giving it to each of the delegates in my precinct.
In the state where I live some of the precincts didn't have anyone show up for the caucus. In those cases the state Republican Party appointed insiders like family members as delegates. Do you see how bad this is?
Democrats, if you could get Nanci Pelosi out of office so we can get Bush impeached (she's blocking it) I would be ecstatic. Shirley Golub is trying to trying to take Nanci Pelosi's seat in Congress so she can spearhead getting Bush and Cheney impeached http://www.shirley08.com/rubber_chicken.php - PowerPaulPayOff, on 05/03/2008, -2/+38The more he talks, the more I admire him :-)
- Kent4jmj, on 05/03/2008, -4/+40The hits on this are going up fast. Nice.
- safeshark, on 05/03/2008, -3/+36Oh. So we have a choice between three monsters, because the one sane man in the race "doesn't have a chance in hell" So pick the monster that will eat you in the least painful way. Hmmm..
Ron Paul has changed American politics forever. Even if he loses the media "horse race", millions of freedom-loving people of all ages across the country were given hope by his campaign. And they will not forget, and will stop at nothing to spread the message to other open minds. - Kent4jmj, on 05/03/2008, -4/+37Delegates and state/district caucuses are very powerful and can be influenced easily if enough people go. I voted for the Paul slate at ours and we actually got a couple of them elected the "old timers" didn't know what hit em. they were flabbergasted.
- juankovo, on 05/03/2008, -3/+36You are exactly the reason why our choices for president, or any elected office for that matter, are always so dismal. Voting for those whom you "think can win" means that you have handed the power of your vote over to someone else. The media tells you who can win, and you vote for them, ignoring the others. Therefore, you are not voting, the owners of the media are. When people vote for the "lesser of two evils" or for "party unity" they are sending politicians a message that it *doesn't matter what they do* because they will always get reelected anyway.
I would rather vote for someone I like and have him/her lose than vote for someone I don't like and have him/her win. It's common sense, but so many people are duped into treating their ballot like a betting card instead of their voice. - inactive, on 05/03/2008, -4/+35Book Bomb
http://www.ronpaulbookbomb.com/ - littlepear, on 05/03/2008, -1/+31I received my copy of The Revolution, and I have to read it in the bathroom because my husband thinks I'm being "too political." I love it! Ron Paul has cured my apathy for this potentially freer country.
- FindLiberty, on 05/03/2008, -5/+341st choice) Word gets out to enough voters so that Ron Paul can be elected POTUS in November 2008. Save the USA!
2nd choice) Word gets out to enough people over the next few years to save this country from an economic collapse (recession and fiat money becomes worthless) and the looming, freedom loathing dictatorship that will follow. Screw the NWO!
3rd choice) Someone will remember that we tried to get this message disseminated before TSHTF. - inactive, on 05/03/2008, -1/+30This story is an example what is wrong with this web site. 293 diggs and 11 buries and the 11 buries win out. I had the bury recorder on this site since it was at 53 diggs. Not only that the buries are anonymous. If this site doesn't fix this they are going to lose out to competitors like Mixx or Reddit.
http://www.ajaxonomy.com/buryrecorder/ - sunguard, on 05/03/2008, -1/+30you would have to be a ***** MORON to have a problem with RON PAUL . You like endless war NICKCOSY? You like being ripped off by your govenment? You like being LIED to EVERY ***** DAY? You like having your HUMAN RIGHTS being flushed down the toilet? If you have a problem with Ron Paul you are NOT an American. So shut the ***** up and go live in communist China or something.

Paul people digg this article. Another reason we need Paul and to get government out of regulating oil. There is no oil shortage. - AlwaysAwake, on 05/03/2008, -2/+26"Believe" in nothing and no-one. - thecoolestguy, on 05/04/2008, -0/+21Thank god for the Ron Paul movement.

- Bith8654, on 05/03/2008, -3/+22The problem with this article is with a title like THE RACE IS STILL ON, everyone thinks its another damn hillary article, they should have mentioned RP in the title or the caption.
- inactive, on 05/03/2008, -5/+23Trolls moving in.. but why?
- john2kdiggs, on 05/04/2008, -0/+18McCain, Obama and Clinton all seek to bankrupt our nation in different ways. With those 3 we end up in the same terrible place regardless.
Ron Paul is very different. He actually wants to do good things for the people of this nation. We can either work with him or watch the ship that is America eventually sink. - Bilabrin, on 05/03/2008, -2/+18"Sounds very unethical just to take money people donated being told that it would go to furthering his presidential ambitions, and instead spend it on a company that only he - and not his supporters - would profit from."
Ah but his supporters would profit from it. This company would be created to spead the philosophy of Ron Paul and his supportes. People who sent him money wanted it to be used to spead his message so I don't think it's a betrayal to spend this money in this way.
Now, as far as profti goes, you might make the argument that he is just trying to make money but this would not be consistent with anything else the Dr. has said or done if you look at his history of speech and actions. The profit will likely be re-invested in the company and to spread the message in perpetuity.
To be honest Onetime, none of us are up in arms about this. We don't see it as a conflict. - inactive, on 05/04/2008, -0/+16Stop drinking the Kool-aid!
Wake - up!
VOTE Ron Paul 2008 - dontclickhere06, on 05/04/2008, -0/+16damn right it is.
- Bilabrin, on 05/03/2008, -2/+18Look more closely at a bill. Ron Paul does. Your comments are like saying that if you vote against the patriot act you are not a patriot or that if you vote against a bill entitled "protect America act" you must want America to be vulnerable. Ron Paul understands that the devil is in the details. Look more closely and you will find that there was something unconstitutional or anti-states rights in the bill.
- AndyWhite, on 05/03/2008, -4/+20I donated money to Ron Paul. I have no problem with this.
- Bilabrin, on 05/03/2008, -1/+17"How is starting a "publishing company" helping the movement? If he wanted to "keep the message allive", why doesn't he just spend the money on giving his book away for free instead?"
Well, I think the term "for-profit" is a misleading technical term. We all know that the "profits" will be recycled to grow the business. They could even be used to fund free book giveaways. That would be much more effective in the long term than a one-time giveaway. No pun intended. - Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -1/+16Either morons or traitors who have something to gain by oppressing US citizens.
- inactive, on 05/04/2008, -1/+16"Democracy... while it lasts is more bloody than either aristocracy or monarchy. Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There is never a democracy that did not commit suicide." John Adams
"A democracy is a volcano which conceals the fiery materials of its own destruction. These will produce an eruption and carry desolation in their way. "The known propensity of a democracy is to licentiousness [excessive license] which the ambitious call, and ignorant believe to be liberty. Fisher Ames who authored House Language for the First Amendment
Tens of millions of Americans have also taken up the mob mentality. Under "our democracy" they continue to demand mother government, with the sweat off your back, provide them with health care, child care, jobs and more "entitlements." In response to these demands from desperate Americans, these poltroons in Congress will be only to happy to oblige. Americans are being pitted against each other in this battle. Those who live the creed of the brilliant, courageous men who birthed this nation are self reliant, determined, masters of our own destiny. We refuse to lay down our rights and freedoms in favor of the heavy hand of government stealing the fruits of our labor to reward invaders, corrupt politicians and fund foreign interests. We are up against those who are accepting the communist morality doctrine, walking into the trap created by Congress and the state legislatures. Instead of holding them accountable, under mobocracy, the legions continue to vote for corrupt scoundrels in public office who break what doesn't need fixing and then steal from the public purse under the guise of "fixing it."
The mobs of democracy are stomping our republic into the ground while cowardly, degenerate politicians grovel for their votes. Democracy underground or above ground is still the same thing: disaster and a bastardization of our legal form of government. The results of pursuing such a path is glaring us in the face from coast to coast, border to border. Trying to shove democracy down the throat of foreign countries like Iraq is nothing short of insanity.
The Founding Fathers, men like Patrick Henry and young Master Nathan Hale, were called radicals and extremists because they disagreed with the loyalists, subjects of the British Crown who wished to remain under the control of a tyrant out of fear or because they benefited financially. In Mel Gibson's movie, The Patriot, he had a great line in the beginning of the movie, "Would you rather have one tyrant 3,000 miles away or 3,000 tyrants one mile away?"
I've been called a radical because I refuse to get on my knees and live my life under a tyrannical government. Patrick Henry and those who spilled their blood and gave up all their material possessions to birth this republic were called radicals. I am proud to wear that label.
Time is slipping by and Americans need to grasp that things are not going to be the same for a long, long time. Despite the bald faced lies coming out of Washington, the worst is yet to come. - Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -3/+18no, you are just WRONG period.
- worldchanger, on 05/03/2008, -3/+18even if this IS the case, do you honestly think the people who donated to Ron Paul would have a problem with him using that money to further spread the message that they support? I kinda doubt it. unless you've been asleep for the past year, you've probably noticed that Ron Paul fans are extremely passionate about their views, and they'd do anything to spread them further.
- unearth, on 05/03/2008, -2/+17Sorry, but using the line "Why does ___ hate ___" is the part of the recipe for Instant Jackass.
Throw in the addition of "bot" to the end of the candidates name, and then you're cooking. - inactive, on 05/03/2008, -7/+22Riding the wave, man. Powers-that-be would never allow him control but now he has a loud voice for IDEAS and TRUTHS are continuing to be spread; THAT is revolution in this age! And Paul speaks truth to me. {as an example: I hate the drug war..always have..always knew that anything called *war* was just a way to repress us and sidestep law}
Troll,
No terrorist ever took away my rights {While the right to life was taken from some on 9/11, I dare say that it was not "islamofasicts" that did the taking /false flag}. Wake up and smell the roadblocks!! I celebrate them as "Veteran Americans who fought and died in vain for freedom day." -- That helps as all i've got left is to KNOW the truth. - Bilabrin, on 05/03/2008, -2/+16"Bootstrappers?"
Is that a term for productive people who make an affort to help themselves and others? People who self-educate and encourage others to do the same?
God forbid people make an effort to be helpful to others and society and not be rewarded for mediocrity and failure. -
