- espo111, on 10/11/2007, -17/+652CNN: your source for the most irrelevant news they can find. Who cares about the health of American citizens, PARIS IS FREE!!!
- miketrin, on 10/11/2007, -45/+436This what Americans care about. Entertainment news! This is how bush and cheney are able to get away with the crimes they are committing!
- ktchpmn, on 10/11/2007, -10/+225That's it CNN. You've made some mistakes in the past but I forgave you. I wanted this relationship to work, I really did. But you've gone too far now. We're through.
- geekmansworld, on 10/11/2007, -2/+149Dear America: STOP CARING ABOUT PARIS HILTON.
If you ignore her long enough she'll just go away. - espo111, on 10/11/2007, -4/+147"CNN “the most trusted name in Paris news.” ...
http://www.cnn.com/feedback/ - joerod, on 10/11/2007, -7/+140This says a lot about this station.
- ScornForSega, on 10/11/2007, -9/+135I stopped watching CNN after they didn't fire Nancy Grace's inflammatory ass and I realized that they still keep Glenn Beck on the payroll.
Lou Dobbs is cool, but he's no Olbermann, and I've had it with the missing white girls. I just don't give a ***** anymore.
...hello MSNBC. - tehpwnrate, on 10/11/2007, -2/+93And while CNN is showing this irrelevant news, I'm sure the Daily Show will have some actual news. Damn it's sad what the news has become.
- footbag01, on 10/11/2007, -26/+102Won't Larry King die already? Serously this guy could give an insomniac narcolepsy. And the fact that CNN actually wants this interview is discusting. I can understand Fox wanting to have something to report, while there reporters pretend to be reporting, but CNN is actually a real cable network.
- shootdashit, on 10/11/2007, -7/+73i'm writing CNN about this. *****' *****. they're not stupid. they know just what they're doing.
- dogstar0125, on 10/11/2007, -3/+60***** CNN for trying to cram that no-talent b-list skank down our throats yet again.
- k1down, on 10/11/2007, -3/+55Michael Moore's Issues: Gun Violence - Corrupt Government - Healthcare
Paris Hilton's Issues: Penis - Herself - Jail Food.
CNN prefers penis. What can you say? To each their own... - TyroPyro, on 10/11/2007, -14/+63Hmm, Michael Moore or Paris Hilton, I think I'll just go outside
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -6/+51When we finally get national healthcare, I think CNN's staff should have to go to Mexico for theirs. Jail Bird over National Health Care? America where have you gone.
- bebop717, on 10/11/2007, -2/+41***** CNN
- theghoul, on 10/11/2007, -2/+40I weep for the future of America
- bixel, on 10/11/2007, -2/+34CNN is sooo correct to do this, I mean like. Paris Hilton is the most inspirational like um person that all beautiful teenage girls should be, like you know? I mean like, she is such a hero and stuff, a great rolemodel for this generation and how they should act and stuff you know? I mean DUI, whatever! Anyway I just pray for her.
/sarcasim - ilkeryoldas, on 10/11/2007, -5/+37Just when we thought we got rid of Paris for some time.. she's back!
- billizm, on 10/11/2007, -4/+33I was just getting to enjoy not having to hear about her, too.
- Aggaman, on 10/11/2007, -1/+23It's Michael Moore's own fault for not making a video of someone having sex with him while he spoke on a mobile phone.
If he had, he would have gained the respect and attention of the news media. - Sp00nMan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+22What is she going to talk about? "OMG jail was so bad! Here's what I had to endure!"
Hey Paris, welcome to the real world. I'd be more interested in listening to an average person who did hard time (a la HBO's OZ-style) rather than some spoiled celebrity. - futurebird, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20I've had enough of CNN. I'm not watching it anymore. The end. I want to see news, not boobs.
- manupodinvictus, on 10/11/2007, -4/+23@ robbh66:
At least Michael Moore's craving for attention is righteous. What's Paris doing? Buying new mittens for her dog? Moore is always pushing truth (in his opinion of course) and trying to get things done.
If you can justify Paris > Moore, I'll move to Cuba and shut my mouth. - kevintmckay, on 10/11/2007, -4/+23they are just catering to the unwashed masses, stop bitching and create a virus that kills retards if you want to see change.
- vinwal, on 10/11/2007, -2/+20Because Paris Hilton's littlle protected custody jail stint is so much more an important issue to the american people......What a f@cking joke!!!!!
- GoneSouth, on 10/11/2007, -4/+22It says more about Americans.
- smackywentz, on 10/11/2007, -3/+18You are exactly what is wrong with this country.
- dagr8tim, on 10/11/2007, -9/+23As much as I dislike Michael Moore, and I feel his 'documentaries' are nothing but allow the wind bag to spout off and try to shock people. I would still prefer (if given a choice) to see an interview with him than Paris.
- FixxInvictus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14Much like her herpies, she ALWAYS comes back.
- stuntant, on 10/11/2007, -7/+21Please do not tell me what I care about. CNN does not represent me, nor FOX News, MSNBC nor any other mass media news outlet.
Thanks! - hipnerd, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form5.html?75
"I just wanted to tell you how disappointed I am that you have chosen to interview Paris Hilton instead of discussing the far more substantive issues regarding America's health-care crisis raised by Michael Moore's new film "Sicko."
Ms. Hilton has done nothing to warrant the massive amounts of news coverage she receives, and the choice you made is illustrative of how the media is failing in its role to educate Americans on the important topics of the day.
I fully expect that Mr. King would bump a discussion with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad if he could dig up Anna Nicole Smith's desiccated corpse and parade it around on TV for an hour.
It's past time for "journalists" to realize that they have obligations that stretch past the ratings or their share-holders. You have a responsibility to the citizens of the United States of America, and you have let us down yet again." - zip000, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14I think it's more like CNN USED TO BE a real cable news network...I don't think they've been anything other than crap for at least 6 0r 7 years, if not longer
- CraigJ, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13goodbye all televised infotainment, hello internet.
- darkspec777, on 10/11/2007, -2/+15I don't care for Michael Moore, but to put an interview of Paris Hilton in lieu of Michael Moore is just absurd.
- mandarin, on 10/11/2007, -7/+20Woo! CNN moving right next to FOX as the most reliable news source!
- SpudgeBoy, on 10/11/2007, -4/+17Nationalized Health Care would cost half of what you pay to over priced insurance right now. Do some research.
- moofer, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11Amen brother. CNN has completely lost touch. Cummon... NaNcY F-ING GrAcE? You gotta be kidding me. That loud-mouthed whore took "Headline News" and turned it into "Tabloid Trash". She's not happy unless someone somewhere is being murdered. And Glen Beck is no better. There's no news on that channel anymore. It's all fluff and opinion now. Worse than Fox News at times. I've switched to watching the news once a day, and I set the TiVO to record the BBC World News. While localized news about the UK doesn't always affect me directly, it is at least interesting, and they're not assaulting me with opinions and graphics.
- uptown, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11Paris doesn't fit into either category....
- Azriel7, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13There is a reason politicians post news on Friday. So it will fade away over the weekend. This is deliberate suppression on part of media/corporations.
- holygram, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10Yeah, its called BBC.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10I just sent them an angry letter, which they'll probably never read but I do feel better giving them a piece of my mind.
- OralCavity, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11perhaps you should watch a Michael Moore film before you make yourself look like more of an idiot. in Bowling for Columbine, he said that he was an NRA member and has won trophies from his shooting skill. his movie questioned why there was so much gun violence in America and whether or not we need certain types of weapons. he never made a blanket statement about all guns being bad. ....course, you don't care to see things that might threaten your world view, so you stick your head in the ground.
- Hananda, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12Anyone else think that there has to be an exploitable niche for a news channel that focuses on actual news, rather than celebrity worship and the left-right "I'm better than those liberals/conservatives" jackassery present on all major stations?
- HenvY, on 10/11/2007, -3/+12Actually, it says a lot more about its viewers. I know, it's easy to blame CNN here(and I do) but don't forget they're doing this for a reason. They know what their viewers like, and they KNOW that this interview will get more viewers than Moore ever, ever could. Sure, most of the people here would much prefer to see the Moore interview - but then again most of the people here are intelligent...something which can never be said of any general population.
- STARTSOMETHING, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9This is the only guy who will be watching
http://my.break.com/media/view.aspx?ContentID=309230 - MowMyMound, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8I can spell American. I also understand how to use a comma, and I also know that you're a *****.
- petoria, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8I dunno about hot
- EarlOfLade, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Larry King and Paris Hilton? Thinking about it scares the ***** out of me...
- ScrewedThePooch, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Dear America,
Next time let her drive drunk until she kills herself.
Sincerely,
God - strafefire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6CNN is about as bad as FOX News. This past Friday, they made a "public" apology to the president of Iran for misinterpreting his speech made in January, turning it from wanting nuclear energy, to making nuclear weapons, which he never said...
