- unknownlogik, on 10/25/2007, -20/+107I think Paul is a genius on economics and I hope he really shines at this event.
- inactive, on 10/19/2007, -6/+57Ron Paul gives me increased stamina and makes me a powerhouse in bed.
- turbobrains, on 10/19/2007, -9/+48He better because this is THE main issue that brought me over to his camp (of course the war opposition is a strong second). If he blows this, I think he will be in trouble. All the new eyes of people who just heard of him because of the 5million quarter, will be carefully listening to him.
- Hardc0r3, on 10/19/2007, -13/+50This is Ron Paul's night to shine. CNBC.MSNBC and WSJ will ask real questions and probably give equal time to the candidates. The three main topics will be taxes, spending and trade. Ron Paul's story is head and shoulders above the rest and he'll get an opportunity to explain that he isn't an isolationist. I'd like to see RP go after the fair tax scheme if there is opportunity.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -12/+45He will, no one is worried about that.
- inactive, on 10/14/2007, -1/+29Rudy: "I think Ron Paul forgot to mention eminent attack... 9/11.."
Ron Paul:"It wasn't a country."
Rudy:"I think it was... Pakistan, Afghanistan..."
Rudy...keep thinking. - prettyha8, on 10/25/2007, -2/+28I think Giuliani is going to answer a phone call from his wife half way through the debate.
- jtingley, on 10/19/2007, -4/+30I'm actually kind of stoked by this article. It's the first time I've seen Ron Paul considered to be Top Tier as it were by any edited news outlet.
It's good news for the Future I think. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+28How many other Republicans advocate abolishing the Federal Reserve?
- whataboutdave, on 10/25/2007, -5/+26Where do you print your gold? I'd like to get in on that.
- dertykevin, on 10/19/2007, -10/+29The Republicans hopefully will actually give him some attention now after this debate, since his policy on this issue is on the same page as theirs.
- conceptkid, on 10/12/2007, -8/+26Thats the thing, the only one that can even debate is RON PAUL. Pair him up against any one of the GOP or democratic or independent candidates and he will absolutely destroy them everytime.
- sudraka1, on 10/14/2007, -3/+21I'd like to see a debate between Guiliani and Tancrado.
911!!!!.... Immigration!!!!
9.1.1!!!!!!....... IMMigration!!!!
Tastes great..... Less filling
911!!...... Immigration!! - Kazbaeden, on 10/12/2007, -5/+23Excellent comment by Ron Paul just now about needing approval from congress to go to war. That one will make headlines.
- sphigel, on 10/12/2007, -4/+22Guilliani is such a douche. He always takes emotionally driven 9/11 cheap shots at Paul that don't make any ***** sense. God I hate him so much.
- xjadams, on 10/12/2007, -4/+21Paul just knocked the constitutional declaraction of war question out of the park.
- sphigel, on 10/11/2007, -2/+18The sad thing is that Rudy actually gets an applause when he says stupid ***** like that. It's completely emotionally based and has no logic whatsoever.
- quamsta, on 10/12/2007, -4/+20Good gag, Submitter. We definitely need to make room for Ron Pau
- urby86, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Been watching 30 minutes and I haven't seen Paul speak once.
Check that he just got to utter 2 sentences. - maz2331, on 10/19/2007, -8/+24Thompson had better hit it out of the park, or he is toast after all the "build up" and after reports of dull and uninspiring showings have been all over the media since his official campaign launch.
I could easily see Paul, Guliani, and Huckabee having a field day with Fred if he isn't perfectly on-game better than we have been lead to believe he will.
Otherwise, it's gonna be a short campaign. - mkultra50, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18The media has an agenda. If you do not believe so by now, you are a fool.
- Reiher, on 10/10/2007, -3/+18Not Huckabee -- he raised taxes in Arkansas as governor (he admits this) and even though he supports a fair tax, he really sounds like a populist sometimes.
- willistg, on 10/10/2007, -4/+19Thompson is done after tonight. I can't wait to watch this.
- SiNN4R, on 10/11/2007, -3/+18Ron Paul is love. He is like a ray of sunshine. He promotes the birth of living beings with his immense power. Ron Paul shall defend the universe. He will drink Iced tea and it shall create healing springs that will protect us from all forms of diseases. Ron Paul understands what it is to be loved and to love in return. Ron Paul is love. He understands us all in a way that we cannot understand ourselves because we do not understand ourselves the way Ron Paul understands ourselves. Ron Paul will descend from the heavens and bless us with peace and prosperity. It has been written in several texts that Ron Paul is the chosen one.
- cphelps, on 10/11/2007, -1/+15That comment made me so sick, I wanted to hurl. This guy should be disqualified from running now, he's pathetic on his best day.
- dlm85, on 10/10/2007, -2/+16Cell phone Rudy will get more time to talk about about 9/11 than Ron Paul will get for the entire debate.
- genezorz, on 10/25/2007, -3/+17It's not just gold, only not printing money if there's no real value behind it. It could be anything of hard value. Anything that has value can be used.
- cranium, on 10/25/2007, -3/+17Well if you really believe that idiotic notion then I guess it wouldn't hurt us at all to go back on the gold standard, right?
- conceptkid, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17BAHAHAHHA, whats NEW?! Rudy mentioned 9/11!!!! Good ***** god. 19 Terrrorists were not representing a certain country when they attacked us. Why the ***** cant he get that through his thick lispy head?
- praveens, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Lighting Round - All the "Front Runners" get questions related to the theme of economics/ monetary and fiscal policy...but Paul, Tancredo and Hunter get the following from douchebag bigot Mathews "Will you support the Republican nominee?" Isn't there a discord or is it just me?
- katie212, on 10/11/2007, -9/+22What is it about Extortion that is "Fair"?
- urby86, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15They cut Ron Paul off on his 30 second question and then they let Rudy talk for a minute AND GIVE HIM A ***** FOLLOW UP QUESTION!!!
- Elderon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14OH COME ON WTF?!? they talked to every single candidate way way way more than ron paul. This debate was so biased it wasn't even funny.
- xjadams, on 10/25/2007, -3/+15No actually, you're wrong. Even though the amount that the market will pay for gold is not fixed, the total amount of gold available to our economic system is closed. Ergo, a gold-standard is not fiat. Ergo, you're wrong.
- dsendecki, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13You'll need to call the doctor should your Ron Paul induced stamina last longer than 4 hours.
- praveens, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15chris mathews is a lunatic...sidelining Ron Paul to the hilt...Rudy Giuliani is an insult to mankind..hes the least dignified and unprofessional rogue...laughing again while Ron Paul speaks...that behavior is not worthy of the highest office of the worlds richest and sole superpower...having said all that im going to go into hiding from Giuliani...
- cphelps, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Anyone else notice on the 30 second lightning rounds which candidates get more than 30 seconds and which ones get cut off?
- Kazbaeden, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15wtf. Paul's lightning question is: Are you going to support the guy who wins (because that's not gonna be you).
- cranium, on 10/10/2007, -6/+18Actually, the whole damn election is about one candidate. This is our last best chance to regain control of our country. All the other candidates are the same.
- xjadams, on 10/19/2007, -2/+14It's about performance versus expectation, not absolute bars.
Thompson is supposed to be 'THE GUY' that is going to beat Obama/Clinton. He only raised 9 million to her 27 million. By contrast RP was supposed to only raise 3 million and that was if he hit it out of the park. He raised 5.1 millinon and was the only GOP candidate to post Q over Q gains. - xenodata, on 10/14/2007, -10/+21Has anybody noticed that on the CNBC page, where an article is written about the media being fair to all the candidates, it has an Ad, which asks, "Who will you vote for?" And Ron Paul is nowhere in that flashing lineup of Presidential Candidates?
Way to go NBC... that was bright of you - HugoNaught, on 10/10/2007, -5/+16First, we don't need all the programs or even a small portion of them. Second, any programs that are absolutely necessary are better handled by local and state. Third, that income tax you so admire doesn't pay for any programs at all - it goes toward the interest charged by the Federal Reserve (which isn't federal and has no reserves.) Most of the programs and benefits residents rely on come from property, sales, and other taxes.
- NightVortez, on 10/10/2007, -9/+20It's fair for them to take a huge part of my paycheck to pay for federal programs I don't even support/use?
- xjadams, on 10/25/2007, -2/+13Gotta resort to ad-hominem b/c you can't put up a real rebuttal? Sweet.
- frigid04, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16This is like a circus... You can also liken this to a theater, and people keep voting for these ego driven neo-cons. Americans have suffered one of the worst kind of them for 8 years now why in the world would they vote for another neo-con?
I mean if you knew any of these guys you'd think they were fakes, shady people with big egos that have a ton to hide, personas, and you wouldn't trust them at all. The only person who speaks genuinely and is transparent is Ron Paul, just look in his eyes when he talks. - AnarkeIncarnate, on 10/10/2007, -3/+14um........ too few?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12To Thompson: "What are the dangers of a weak dollar?" I don't support Thompson, but that was a dumb question directed at him.
Again, who the hell is laughing when RP speaks? It only happens when he speaks. I want to know, god damn. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Worst debate yet I've seen, worst than Fox. That whore anchor...
- micahglasser, on 10/25/2007, -0/+10Some people just hate Latin I guess.
- mkultra50, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13The media obviously has an agenda. If you can watch this debate and not think so...well...you are a fool.
