- Darel99, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Hey Gmason,
You offer a great point... Your right he is dodging another debate... Beside he has told the American sheepople at least four times he was entering.... By the way I asked Fred Thompson in a small gathering what he would do with our economy since the IMF has stated the value of the dollar must decline by 20%..... He didn't offer a firm answer and moved to the next question. - gmason08, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Go with RP, force them back on track.
- chickenbig, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Ugh...are they serious? This old retread is no Reagan. Do they really think we are that stupid? I've had it with the Republicans. The Constitution Party is starting to look pretty darn good.
- gmason08, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4It is telling that he chose Thursday to announce thereby dodging the debate on Wednesday. He thus further delays his day of reckoning where he will begin to show to all the world that he is merely another light-weight puppet of which his owners are partial.
- amoutbound, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I've heard the CFR holds their meetings in airport bathrooms.
- Darel99, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Ok Joseph Farah were waiting to see a detailed story about Fred Thompson and make sure you point out Fred Thompson is a CFR member.... We know you like to expose CFR members and for good reason but will you do this since Fred Thompson is your poster boy?
- gmason08, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2No offense aerostar but the biggest problem w/ Huckabee(I won't go into his other problems because they are moot due to the following deal killer): He cannot win the General Election against anyone the Dems put up. The only candidate the R's have that can win the General is Ron Paul. The R party establishment is handing the D's the White House by not forcefully backing(in fact they are doing all they can to contain him) the only guy they have that can win in the vote that matters in Nov 08. No offense again, but all the R candidates, excepting Ron Paul, gain only the R base vote which is foolish because whomever has "R" after their name in the General will get the base vote. Why nominate someone that says ALL the things the base wants to hear but will then LOSE the election? Remember how close the last two elections were? Ron Paul gives the base, again, the same folks that will vote for whomever the R nominee is, ALMOST everything they want and he draws more than enough outside the base votes to win the election. What does the R base gain by nominating some guy that tells them everything they want to hear then loses? The Big R party insiders do not want to tell you the truth about that because they would rather have a corrupt DEM win than an R (Ron Paul) that will never play the Washington corruption game.
You say you oppose, elitist, globalist, CFR and RINO types, which is in shorthand called a "Neo-Con". The primary heartburn the Neo-Con Media has fomented against Ron Paul with the base is by distorting what he really says about the Iraq War because the Iraq war is part of the Neo-Con Agenda and Ron Paul will not follow their script. Again, the Iraq War IS elitist/globalist/CFR.
Bottom-line-It is either Ron Paul as the R nominee or it is President Hillary. Better grasp that reality quick while there is still time to avoid the latter. Considering what you cited as important, aerostar and the fact that Ron Paul is the only R that can win the REAL ELECTION that matters, what do you think Huckabee gains for you over Ron Paul? - Darel99, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Hi Aerostar,
I respect your points perhaps Mike Huckabee is a better candidate then Mitt, Rudy and McCain but he fails to understand the real root issues of our economic issues. I have attended every GOP small grass root meetings even Jim Gilmore before he dropped out of the race. I had three basic questions for each candidate and knew the only way I could receive an answer was to take my personal time and fund a visit to various meetings over the last six months. However, the only single question which I have been able to affectively ask is as follows: Sir, a recent report from the Internal Monety Fund suggests plans to devalue the dollar by 20%. Can you please tell me your reaction as well as the steps your presidency would offer to curtail such plans by the international banking cabal?
When I asked Mike this question he paused and he provided a very generic answer in fact I would state it was a high school level reply. He did not fully answer the question and went to the next person. After he fully answered the next persons question I then asked him if he would please provide the a answer to my question. He heard me and so did other people in the room but he choose to ignore my question and went to the next person.
Rudy has heard the same question from my own lips and his reply was worse then Mike's. Mitt provided a political answer which did not and i repeat did not provide the answers to the issues. McCain ignored the question and went to the next person. In a chance meeting Chris Dodd had a meeting in the same city McCain was in the next day so I asked Dodd the same question and he was better then Mitt or Rudy but he is a global leader so it didn't count :).
Yes, I have asked them all. I can only say that Ron Paul took over 5 min to answer the question... He offered answers and solutions far above any other candidate. As a former banker and with a vast understanding of economics I was impressed.
I think Ron Paul offers the best answers and is the only choice. - Darel99, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Now thats funny!
- gmason08, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2scottmcm-Interesting profile you have there.
- aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Bravo, Arnoutbound!!! I knew they smelled like "fertilizer." Now I know why :-) .
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Phony Fred Thompson would be just as bad or worse than Bush. I voted for Bush twice as the lesser of two evils, knowing he was a member of the Skull and Bones secret society, which is in one of the innermost circles of the globalist cabals. But he has done far more damage than I ever would have thought he would. He has set the stage for the next globalist puppet to step in and advance their "master plan" at an even more surprising rate than Bush has. I think Fred Thompson would be the most dangerous of the available globalist puppets for the simple facts that he seems to be favored the most by the media and the generally ignorant Republicans and neo-cons. In other words, his sheep's clothing is of much higher quality than the other wolves.
In my opinion, WND is the same as FoxNews and all the other mainstream media that are gushing over Fred Thompson the CFR globalist. WND knows fully well what the CFR is doing to this country and they actually report on it nearly every day and advertise for Jerome Corsi's book exposing it, but they still hypocritically refuse to call Fred Thompson out on his CFR membership. They would rather give Fred Thompson the spotlight over Ron Paul, the only candidate that would actually lead that revolution Farah has been calling for to take America back and restore the Constitution. Why? The only 2 logical reasons I can think of are: 1) WND would rather sell out America than take a chance on a presidential candidate being elected that would pull us out of the war in Iraq and risk endangering Israel, or 2) WND is run by a bunch of defeatist cowards who don't want Ron Paul to win the nomination for the Republican Party because they don't think he can defeat the Democrats. Either way, it is becoming more and more evident that WND is run by a bunch of spineless, confused, hypocritical cowards, who happen to get some things right some of the time on other issues. - aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2michael4lsu, you make some cogent and valid points about Fred Thompson. Like you, I also (shamefully admit) that I voted for "Shrub" twice. The "ONLY" credit due him, is that he did put 2 reasonably good members on the Supreme court (after grudgingly pulling that screwball nominee Miers) and he did contribute to keeping the tax break. And that is ALL of any noteworthy significance I can find.
Beyond that, he did more harm to our constitution than Kerry (ugh) could have done... because limp-writed GOP legislators "looked the other way" when Bush proposed things. If Kerry had proposed them, the GOP lawmakers would have screamed bloody murder, and the deals would have ended.
So it almost looks like we are "better off" (ugh, again) with a Dem, than a RINO-elitist-globalist-CFR type. I am so frustrated I could puke up last week's dinner!
So, in general, I agree with your reasoning about Fred... I loved your remark, "his sheep's clothing is of much higher quality than the other wolves."
Regarding your opinion of WND, the jury is still "out" for me. I see a possibility (however remote) that there may be another reason, other than the 2 you cited. However, you made excellent points. Thank you for your logic and anallysis! - aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2gmason08 & darel99 & scottmem... good comments, all. I never, NEVER thought (or implied) that Ron Paul is CFR... No, 1000 times no. I know better than that. Ron Paul is a true patriot... furthermore he is brilliant, extremely well informed, and incorruptible to any potential threat.
All of that is his strong suit.
I just wish he would get on the band-wagon for the FAIR TAX. He has avoided it, for reasons I don't understand. Perhaps he hasn't studied it sufficiently. If he did... he would not oppose it, I am sure. But time is short, and this may be the ONE and ONLY shot we have of dissolving the IRS.
Information and public motivation is high right now, for Neal Boortz's book (Fair Tax) and understanding will rise through the next campaign months. If it doesn't make it now, by the next election, citizen's congenitally short memories will have lost touch with the concept. We may never "capture the moment" again. That is my fear.
Gmason & darel, you make excellent observations... truly. I shall give them continued thought. Darel, the IMF question you posed is important... VERY. I do not minimize it at all. It is another ingredient in the "whole mix." And, gmason, I would love very much to know about those "other problems" you hinted at. I would be happy to give you my email, so we could correspond, if you are still "on" tonight. If so, give me the nod, and I'll include it in my next post. Cheers, all...! - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Congratulations, you're an ignorant sheep.
- amoutbound, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Thats all we need-another actor as President. Swear in Mr.Gruff. America is becoming a world joke.
- aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0Mike Huckabee is an excellent alternative. He has a successful track record in the Executive Branch. He is intelligent, articulate, charismatic and... most importantly, he is sincere. He is an entertaining speaker, holds the attention of his listeners, doesn't "dodge" hard questions, and has good instincts.
Huckabee is the only conservative candidate with executive experience... and he has been brilliantly successful. Giulliani is the only other candidate with executive experience, and he is a phony... he is an Elitist, Globalist, CFR-type... just another RINO.
Uniquely, Governor Huckabee supports the 2nd amendment, opposes queer marriage, opposes abortion, supports border integrity, opposes illegal immigration, opposes amnesty for the illegals... and significantly, understands the threat the IRS is to every American citizen.
He has announced his support of the FAIR TAX plan, which will de-fang and dissolve the American Gestapo, and put our National Economy on a sound footing. Few of the other candidates have the courage, the integrity and the nobility to offer this quality resume. Go Huckabee!!! - scottmcm, on 10/10/2007, -3/+0Ron Paul?? CFR?? Man the black helicopter crew is working overtime tonight.
