- aussiejan, on 10/14/2008, -10/+239Great news. Keep up the good work all of you who are working hard for Senator Obama. The end is in sight. The world is with you.
- Dushenko, on 10/14/2008, -5/+173Don't get over confident and stay home on election day. Also, don't wait for election day if you can cast your vote early. Anything can keep you from voting when you only have one day to do it...weather, fires, sickness, accidents, traffic jams, not to mention the many tricks the Republican will try to throw out or savotage your right to vote. Don't be caugh off guard and please report any irregularities to law enforcement and the Obama campaign managers so they can assist or at least be aware of the problems. Make sure you are choosing Obama and not just voting a straight democratic ticket without picking the presidential candidate of your choice, in some states if you just vote a straight democratic ticket you are not voting for the presidential candidate of your choice.
- NewJeffCT, on 10/14/2008, -7/+163McCain has lost whatever dignity he had back in 2000.
- gsadamb, on 10/14/2008, -5/+150This is pretty clear evidence that going so negative has blown up in McCain's face.
- SheilaNoya, on 10/14/2008, -5/+144You know what this means?
It means that we'll have even more comedy tomorrow as the Republicans freak out and beat each other up over how McCain should strengthen his attacks even more. They just don't get it. The Republicans are dying from self-inflicted wounds, but they keep going down the same path of "Fear & Smear" that everyone is sick of seeing and hearing.
I've never been one to enjoy those bloody slasher flicks. They are usually way too gory for me. However, I'm making an exception now and will look forward to watching Sean Hannity's head explode on the high definition TV screen. - LainyD, on 10/14/2008, -5/+106W.O.W.! I guess people don't like all the racist sentiments being thrown out by the McCain machine. Surprise, surprise.
- lychoi4, on 10/14/2008, -5/+1043 more weeks.
- xekko, on 10/14/2008, -4/+86All these polls count for nothing unless you get out there and vote. And with 3 weeks left, it's likely these polls will tighten - so don't get blasé people!
- kraetos, on 10/15/2008, -1/+76Only 82% of Hillary supporters?!?! Dear 18% of Hillary supporters: GROW THE ***** UP.
- AxmxZ, on 10/14/2008, -3/+75The surge worked, my friends!..
- inactive, on 10/14/2008, -5/+71President Obama. I could get used to that.
Vice President Biden sounds great too. - thebradmiskell, on 10/14/2008, -3/+57Voters, independents in particular, are turned off by McCain's negative, irrelevant attacks and his choice of Palin as a running mate. People want to know what the candidates plan for the country, and with increasing detail, Obama is supplying that.
- Blasphemous88, on 10/14/2008, -3/+56Be sure to vote guys. The rest of the country won't do this for you just because the polls say he is leading. We don't need an upset because a few million people decided the election was an easy-win and their votes didn't matter.
- Deoliver47, on 10/14/2008, -4/+57This is because American's are beginning to see McCain is a man without honor. How can you insinuate a man - another Senator - is a terrorist! Senator Obama has top level security clearance - sitting on the committees that he is on. One of McCain's biggest backers is Lenore Annenberg - who funded the board Senator Obama sat on. Is McCain going to call Mrs. Annenberg a terrorist?
Meanwhile - today CNN covered Palin's ties to the Alaskan Independence Party. Read the salon piece:
http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2008/10/10/palin ...
The NYTimes just covered the anti-semitic nut case who did the "documentary" smear funded by McCain's campaign.
McAin's hate filled chicken's are coming home to roost. - friscos, on 10/14/2008, -5/+58McCain Clearly "Won the Day"
What with:
+ The Palins' close-association with AIP getting exposed on a national cable news outlet;
+ McCain hiring the former lobbyist for Saddam Frickin' Hussein;
+ Obama having a 14-point lead (18% with indies); and
+ McCain falling through the 40% support barrier.
How could today have been ANY BETTER for John McCain? To quote SNL: "I mean, really?"
McCain/Palin: Most. Incompetent. Presidential. Campaign. EVER! - Anomaly100, on 10/15/2008, -3/+48Palin scares the hell out of me, but, on the other hand, I love that she is on McCain's ticket. Thank you Sarah for helping us win.
- rald84, on 10/14/2008, -3/+48nice. obama's been over 50 for a week or two, but this is the first time i've seen mccain go below 40!
- bitsculptor, on 10/15/2008, -1/+45Make sure you get out and vote people. Let's make it even more of a landslide!
- Farmer77, on 10/15/2008, -1/+44I don't care if he is leading by a hundred points. I'm going out to vote for Obama on Nov. 4th.
- MrsOlbermann, on 10/14/2008, -3/+45This is only true if we ALL vote! GOTV everyone! Yes We Can!
- johnnr2, on 10/15/2008, -2/+43It ain't over 'til its over, friends! Volunteer; vote.
- badwithcomputer, on 10/14/2008, -5/+45http://i36.tinypic.com/105z4om.jpg
- SteveTheSultan, on 10/15/2008, -1/+41We must not stop until it is 80% Obama and 10% McPain
- 80hd, on 10/15/2008, -3/+40Fox news:
Thank you for portraying Obama as an un-American terrorist. Without your efforts, we would not be so sure that republicans have thoroughly lost their mind.
Please do not STFU. It's helping quite nicely. - LordStandley, on 10/14/2008, -3/+39McCain has Palin to thank for this continued drop which is awesome.
I love that McCain can't keep Palin under control anymore, and his overall standing with the public just keeps reflecting how America feels about her and her radical hate inspiring speeches. - niradg, on 10/15/2008, -2/+37John McCain is lucky. Arizona is a nice place to retire.
- ChuckInReno, on 10/14/2008, -0/+3497 more days of pain and misery.
- kingofinternet, on 10/14/2008, -3/+37every vote counts, the more votes obama gets the stronger the message sent to washington and the world that america has had enough of bush and republican policies, and the more confidence shown in obama.
write-ins/third party the more votes cast the stronger the message that americans are tired of what's offered by the two party system.
republicans, may god have mercy on your souls. - miglo, on 10/15/2008, -2/+35Thank you Lipstick for the boost! It was the retarded ***** coming out of your mouth that made this possible!
- Aggaman, on 10/15/2008, -1/+33Everyone remember to register sleeper accounts at Stormfront, FreeRepublic and all the other crazy right wing kook sites in preparation for Obama's (landslide) victory.
This is the greatest trolling opportunity in history. I personally plan to pretend to impersonate a gay African American Muslim terrorist as I lecture these forums on how Obama is going to ban the Bible, increase taxes 1000% and make interracial gay marriage compulsory. - 11oops, on 10/15/2008, -6/+38Now we just have to hope he remembers who put him in the White House and fulfills his campaign pledges.
- TheWriteGuy, on 10/15/2008, -2/+34Even if you live in a hopelessly red state, if you support Obama, then still get out and VOTE. Your vote will be added to the popular vote tally.
- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -3/+35Young voters please vote - we need you. I have a 20 year old & 28 year old and they and their friends are voting. My 76 year old father and his buddy's are voting for Obama. I am of course voting for Obama... We must keep going as if Obama doesn't have this big lead. It is sweet though!
- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -1/+31This is great news! Finally, I can kick back, relax, and work even f*cking harder to make sure people VOTE.
- plecostomus, on 10/15/2008, -1/+30Do not use these good results, even on election day, as an excuse to not vote. Apathy is for losers!
- ashwinmudigonda, on 10/15/2008, -2/+31If even one ***** decides to sit at home and not vote because Obama's lead is so huge, it warrants a total annhilation of pollsters and their filthy polls.
- Dumbledorito, on 10/15/2008, -0/+27You're going to need a lot more racists and crooked voting machines. Better get cranking.
- thomazzz021, on 10/14/2008, -2/+29alllmooost theeerrrrre!
***lets hope it dosn't impact along the surface. - ironhide, on 10/15/2008, -1/+26You were the guy doing press releases for Saddam right?
- itswhatson, on 10/14/2008, -9/+31Just remember, as we interpret this: Conservatism can never fail, it can only be failed. Ergo, it's all McCain's fault.
- bluebirdgm, on 10/15/2008, -1/+23Who are these 18% of Hillary Clinton supporters who actually think that McCain is a better second choice?
- FreddieD, on 10/15/2008, -0/+21Today I got a co-worker and her husband in Missouri to switch their votes from McCain to Obama. While they both have conservative social values and strongly oppose Obama in that area, they think the economy is so messed up right now that they need to put that aside for this election at least.
Can I get an amen?? - apec766, on 10/15/2008, -2/+23Who in the blue ***** are you replying to that said he will? Jesus christ.
- MrDan1969, on 10/15/2008, -4/+24Don't count your chickens....there's one more debate-and still time for an October suprise, plus, the GOP doesnt have to LEAD, just close enough to steal!
- enantiodromia, on 10/15/2008, -4/+24Clearly the American people hate America
/s - cmootoo, on 10/15/2008, -0/+19I really hope to see you posting your doom and gloom comments when Obama wins on the 4th.
- jeffbw, on 10/15/2008, -2/+20About frickin' time.
- TheWriteGuy, on 10/15/2008, -3/+20McSame Failin'
- vinod1978, on 10/15/2008, -0/+16ackchrs - How exactly are you expecting McCain to overcome a double digit lead?
Even with all the dirty tricks the GOP is doing, it's almost impossible to overcome a lead over 10%. If Obama was at 4% the GOP's tricks would be enough to steal another election...but NOT THIS TIME PAL. You guys are screwed! - kelsosmythe, on 10/15/2008, -3/+19How's the weather down there John?
