Actually, WND covered the story based on Jerome Corsi's commentary. It's obviously very important news, but do you think that the main stream media will even mention it? No, I highly doubt it.
As I wrote in a comment for that other article linked to above, my question is if a big terrorist attack is imminent, and that is why they have produced this executive order? It is really starting to look like it's not a question of if, but when. Scary thought? They think it will pull their irons out of the fires of their disastrous foreign and domestic policy decisions. They pray it will justify their boldfaced treasonous lies, that have sent the life's blood of this nation off to a useless war. They are convinced it will give them a new lease on the seat of world power beyond the 2008 election which, due to the crises at hand, they will have to postpone indefinitely. WASHINGTON -- Oregonians called Peter DeFazio's office, worried there was a conspiracy buried in the classified portion of a White House plan for operating the government after a terrorist attack.
AS A MEMBER OF THE U.S. House on the Homeland Security Committee, DeFazio, D-Ore., is permitted to enter a secure "bubbleroom" in the Capitol and examine classified material. So he asked the White House to see the secret documents.
On Wednesday, DeFazio got his answer: DENIED.
"I just can't believe they're going to deny a member of Congress the right of reviewing how they plan to conduct the government of the United States after a significant terrorist attack," DeFazio says.
Homeland Security Committee staffers told his office that the White House initially approved his request, but it was later quashed. DeFazio doesn't know who did it or why.
"We're talking about the continuity of the government of the United States of America," DeFazio says. "I would think that would be relevant to any member of Congress, let alone A MEMBER OF THE HOMELAND SECURITY COMMITTEE"
Bush administration spokesman Trey Bohn declined to say why DeFazio was denied access: "We do not comment through the press on the process that this access entails. It is important to keep in mind that much of the information related to the continuity of government is highly sensitive."
Norm Ornstein, a legal scholar who studies government continuity at the conservative American Enterprise Institute, said he "cannot think of one good reason" to deny access to a member of Congress who serves on the Homeland Security Committee.
"I find it inexplicable and probably reflective of the usual, knee-jerk overextension of executive power that we see from this White House," Ornstein said.
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME DEFAZIO HAS BEEN DENIED ACCESS TO DOCUMENTS. DeFazio has asked Homeland Security Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., to help him access the documents.

Article 48 in the Weimar Republic Constitution gave almost the same powers as this. Hitler and the Nazis invoked it after the Reichstag fire. Which was never revoked throughout their entire reign. Also odd is the fact that its called NSPD Article 51, being that in German the Nazis were the NSPAD (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeitspartie). I'm not saying thats its any sort of conspiracy, but makes me think we are going down a bad road.

But suddenly, and sadly, the attention to this subject died off just as fast at it was born. If it'll make you feel any better, it is by far the highest DUGG article that I've submitted thus far. That's a good sign, I think.
I am hoping that Jerome Corsi latches on to this subject like he has with other subjects. However, I think he probably he starting to get spread too thin, trying to cover so many things. Let's hope he gets back to this subject, though, very soon. You know, we could all email Jerry at the email address found at the bottom of the page for his article... hmmm.... Should we? Could we? Maybe it may be a way that we can show Corsi and WND that this is a BIG topic! If we don't stay on this subject, nobody else will, right?

Perhaps those folks claiming that gun registration only alerts the government as to who can defend themselves, aren't as crazy as I once thought.

They have the power to override presidential directives, and by permitting these "power grabs" to exist they are just as guilty of being traitors to Our country.
