Bush criticized Clinton Oil and Gas Prices then Tripled Them
thedailyshow.com — Daily Show: Bush criticized $30/ barrel oil and $0.99/gallon gas as evidence Clinton had no Energy Policy. Today oil is $104/barrel and gas is over $3/gallon. Bush was shocked that gas is pushing $4/gallon in some areas. “I didn’t know that!” says our president. Bush wants you to vote for McCain to continue his policies.

Hey, what is the problem? Bush obviously has an energy policy. He started two illegal wars in the oil producing regions of the world and the price of oil went through the roof, which lead to the most profit by any corporation ever in the history of the planet. Exxon LOVES the Bush energy policies. Sure, it's bad for 99% of Americans, but friends of George have never seen such profit.
You aren't a friend of George? ***** you. - Stevanoski, on 03/08/2008, -7/+2But But But, the war in Iraq was about oil, ooops, another Leftist theory down the drain.
- chicofaraby, on 03/08/2008, -4/+6How much was your last tank of gas, dumbass?
- gypsi, on 03/08/2008, -4/+5you seem to have the same speech impediment as rush limbaugh. must be a symptom of idiocy
- LoneRanger85, on 03/08/2008, -2/+6Hey, what happened to that Democrat campaign pledge that if they took over Congress, they would end "the pain at the pump." HMMMMM? Seen any Democrats doing news standups in front of a gas station lately? You want cheap oil? Allow drilling of our OWN oil in Alaska and offshore.
- RuffRidr, on 03/08/2008, -1/+4Have they lived up to ANY of their pledged promises? Their 5 day work weeks were out the door within a month. They laughably call themselves the most ethical congress in history, yet fill every bill they can with so much pork that they get cut. Oh, and that war they said they were going to end which resulted in everyone of them being elected? Sorry, they are just a bunch of ineffective knumbskulls.
- TrevaLVF, on 03/08/2008, -2/+2Screw the greedy petroleum tycoons!
Bio-Diesel is a good alternative that you can home brew! Get it while the main ingredient is still being given freely. Willie Nelson's bio-Diesel service stations are multiplying along major interstates. No gasoline or diesel fuel sold there.
You'll need a vehicle with a diesel engine to use this stuff. You can get one of those used, far cheaper than a new hybrid. - yellowcakewalk, on 03/08/2008, -7/+2What problem with gasoline prices? No car = no gasoline. No problem. Get a bicycle.
- Stevanoski, on 03/08/2008, -4/+6Whats the problem with electricity prices? No lights = no electricity. No problem, Get a tree branch.
- masterspeaks, on 03/08/2008, -2/+2I think yellowcake was actually serious, while stevanoski was using sarcasm.
- DreadPirate, on 03/09/2008, -0/+5Yellowcake is unfortunately serious. Because he happens to live in an area with good public transportation, the ***** can't be bothered to consider what it might be like for people who are not so fortunate. I have pointed this out to him every single time he posts an asinine comment like the one above, and he is far too cowardly to ever respond.
- ScienceDoc, on 03/08/2008, -2/+3He has no brain and no shame.
