- theutopian, on 01/12/2009, -17/+194An apology would be nice, George.
- NyteStarNyne, on 01/13/2009, -8/+82Let the shoe hit you on the way out.
- beforeapriori, on 01/12/2009, -11/+72It'd be nice if some reporter takes him to task like Frost/Nixon. Time for a reporter to take off the gloves and destroy him. Too bad it's hard to find a pure journalist that will not go too far. Just an old school reporter that will say you did A,B, and C what is your reply to the American public who feel cheated, abused, disrespected and held under a tyrant?
- kemp34, on 01/12/2009, -11/+69I must say, this guy's ability to avoid official rebuke for his transgressions has been quite stunning. Bush's number one skill appears to be his ability to avoid being held to account for his actions and decisions. Needless to say, it is a sad state of affairs that our government officials have lacked the backbone and/or personal scruples needed to actually do something.
- WafflePirate, on 01/12/2009, -15/+69I say, do let the door hit you on the way out George.
- trolleyfan, on 01/13/2009, -10/+59Eight years too late...
- 955701, on 01/12/2009, -15/+56Can we move this up to tonight?
- inactive, on 01/13/2009, -4/+44Like you nut sacks did about Clinton for the past eight... we may be worst. Clinton didn't leave us in a *****.
- Thorlord, on 01/13/2009, -1/+34you kidding? that was the only point in 8 years i was proud of our president
he dodged that shoe like like Neo. i was like "wow, the world knows our idiot of a president can at least dodge thrown objects!"
we've all had to take our little victories.. that was one of them. - groo68, on 01/13/2009, -1/+33yeah, he'll laugh for 10 minutes and then be like "Cheney has something to say too" and then Cheney will laugh for 54 minutes, declare martial war, and promptly go live in the war room.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 01/13/2009, -9/+41I smell a drinking game.
- gwolf, on 01/13/2009, -12/+43I just wish we had a statue of him we could topple.
- G-RaZoR, on 01/13/2009, -1/+28hey hey hey....
- Aggaman, on 01/13/2009, -3/+30An apology from the palookas like you who voted for the prick would be even better.
- RevChris2, on 01/13/2009, -11/+37nah nah nah nah
nah nah nah nah..... - snkscore, on 01/13/2009, -14/+40He'll probably ***** up something between now and then, which will turn this into another "no one could have forseen" speech instead of the "history will judge me as a great president" speech.
Worst. President. Ever. - inactive, on 01/13/2009, -10/+35Good ***** riddance.
- Mujokan, on 01/13/2009, -5/+30Oh no! People are being disrespectful towards Bush! What could have brought that on?
- TouchingWood, on 01/12/2009, -19/+43Let's hope he doesn't f*(ck this up too!
- geminus, on 01/13/2009, -3/+27Digg is predominantly a liberal group. So yes, if by killing 4,200+ Americans and over 300,000 Iraqis over lies to get oil warrants hate, then bring it. I say this as a vet myself, and yes, I was also in the sandbox this time too... that makes my fourth trip over there. ***** him.
He's an ass-clown idiot, and the world will be a better place once he's gone. - phosphite, on 01/13/2009, -8/+31George W. Bush. Great drinking buddy, terrible president.
- depro9, on 01/13/2009, -8/+31Our 8 year long nightmare is finally over everyone. WE MADE IT! (most of us anyway RIP)
- DouglasQ, on 01/13/2009, -6/+28He's probably gonna disappear in a whirl of smoke, cackling maniacally.
- jonesyno, on 01/13/2009, -1/+23Goodbye!
- Jonez176, on 01/13/2009, -7/+29Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.
- WiretapStudios, on 01/13/2009, -0/+21No, you're thinking of Cheney.
- orlyfactor, on 01/13/2009, -6/+27...and there was much rejoicing. Yayyy.
- pintomp3, on 01/13/2009, -1/+22Yes, let's blame the Democratic congress. Republicans controlled all 3 branches for 6 years and 2 of the branches for the last 2 years. The Democrats held a slim majority in one branch for 2/8 years. Clearly it's all their fault.
- WiretapStudios, on 01/13/2009, -10/+30Farewell, *****.
- ThermiteTerrace, on 01/12/2009, -13/+33I'm betting it'll be 55 min. of laughing.
- RevChris2, on 01/13/2009, -2/+20it worked , I dont care if I get dugg down because it worked. awesome.
- DarkprinceArmon, on 01/13/2009, -11/+29Good riddance. This guy said the Katrina response wasn't slow, said he regrets the where no Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, and that The Mission Accomplished banner on the Aircraft Carrier was probably a mistake. That is just a few of his FAILS. He's a horrible President.
- induren, on 01/13/2009, -3/+20The past? Correcting the past is part of the way to the future.
The past 8 years were about destroying the future for our children.
Don't talk to anyone about the past! - TheScogg, on 01/13/2009, -4/+21Well I don't know Jimmy. What will you Conservative wingnuts do, now that your ***** delusions and ideologies are no longer supported by the most powerful man in the world? As a "liberal", I'll probably spend my next 4 years laughing at people like you. Every time I hear some old coot bitching about all these "brown socialist queer hippies" taking over town, I'll think of you and chuckle at how pissed you'll probably be that the gays and environmentalists haven't been thrown in interment camps yet.
- thefirelane, on 01/13/2009, -4/+20>It's easier to be a "good" president during good times.
Yeah, just like that Lincoln slacker: cruising through the good times.
Hint: you are exactly wrong. The way to be a good president is to challenge us to be better during trying times. Americans will live up to it. It's called leadership
Bush challenged us to go to the mall. - silvertrigger, on 01/13/2009, -2/+17if he can find the right door (see 0:26 seconds)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHjIb6trxBI&fea ... - hymneforthedead, on 01/13/2009, -10/+25..he should've been impeached...
- Elranzer, on 01/13/2009, -1/+15Funny how you Republicans whine about the "liberals" even when you controlled all three branches of government.
- JamesBondJr, on 01/12/2009, -3/+17"Thank you, thank you everyone for choosing me to be your next president. I'm delighted that I can serve you for another 4 years and advance this great nation"
***** - zyklon, on 01/13/2009, -4/+18Failure is success rounded down.
- moduc, on 01/13/2009, -1/+15Who care about an apology! I do not even care to listen to his speech. After 8 years of disaster administration, you think that I would value whatever he says?
- Versh, on 01/13/2009, -1/+14Completely speculation:
Either he has started drinking again
or
it's been two whole months since he took a vacation (that's a lot for him) and he desperately needs to clear some brush on his ranch. - Akairenn, on 01/13/2009, -1/+14Cheesy but true: Those who ignore the past are destined to repeat it.
Please, talk about the past. Talk about it constantly. - Dumbledorito, on 01/13/2009, -2/+15It's hard to call it "Bush Derangement Syndrome" when you can measure his failure in dollars, bodies, scandals, and constitutional assaults.
But yes, do go an tell us how after 6 years of GOP-dominated government plus 2 more where they just had the executive and judicial branch under their sway that it's all Clinton's fault somehow that we're fighting 2 wars and have an economy that's bathed in MBA-fueled sludge. - jonesyno, on 01/13/2009, -1/+14I have no idea why you are getting buried. .. unless people were expecting "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It". . or perhaps "Angel is a Centerfold". .. or maybe "BATMAN!". . .
- yacinebouatrous, on 01/13/2009, -6/+18now let the hunt begin...
- wheresjim, on 01/13/2009, -3/+15@MisterEx
Hmm, that's interesting since Clinton didn't take office until January, 1993. - orthodoxDrew, on 01/13/2009, -2/+14and yet...not enough
- MisterEX, on 01/13/2009, -1/+12I like where your head is.
- vidaliasweet, on 01/13/2009, -2/+13I think a lot of people will have a party.
