Bush: ‘We’re not in a recession.’
thinkprogress.org — During a press conference today with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Mexican President Felipe Calderon, a reporter asked President Bush “how deep and how long will the economic recession be in the United States?” “First of all, we’re not in a recession,” Bush replied, adding, “We’re in a slowdown.”

Therefore, if you tell people day, after day, after day that the economy is bad, if you keep pounding on that drum, as liberals constantly do, sooner or later it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Liberals are perfectly happy to destroy the economy if it means getting back into power and destroying the man they hate.
