- GrandmaSheila, on 11/11/2008, -26/+649How about regretting the deaths of a million Iraqis and over four thousand US troops? torture and Guantanamo, signing statements, Habeus Corpus, Posse Comitatus, illegal spying on citizens, gutting social programs, SCHIP, tax cuts for the rich, the environment, the collapse of Wall St, largest deficit ever... The list goes on & on...
- Bastet62, on 11/11/2008, -19/+285Too bad he doesn't regret his actions, like torture, lying, indefinite detentions, abolishing habeas corpus, abolishing posse comitatus, spying on Americans, the deaths of 4000+ soldiers, the deaths of over a million Iraqis, etc etc etc......
- 01010110, on 11/11/2008, -19/+215Wait.. so this the part at the end where we're supposed to sympathize for the super-villain?
- bunkertor7, on 11/11/2008, -8/+167LOL How about this one: "You're working hard to put food on your family."

Methinks that he will soon be regretting the comments made today more than any other comments he's made. - inactive, on 12/08/2008, -5/+79I never thought I'd say this, but compared to Palin, he looks smart.
- pintomp3, on 11/12/2008, -0/+45is this a bushism or a freudian slip?
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." - dlm85, on 11/12/2008, -3/+46I hope he don;t regret this one.

YOU *****. - bisforxbeauty, on 11/12/2008, -2/+42""I'll be long gone before some smart person ever figures out what happened inside this Oval Office."—Washington, D.C., May 12, 2008"
OMG, are you kidding me?! Was that statement made in public!? - mcritz, on 11/12/2008, -4/+40I regret about 600 votes in Florida.
- doiveo, on 11/12/2008, -6/+39just comments?
- blackgoldbrand, on 11/11/2008, -8/+40He recognizes the massive sea change occurring before he even leaves office and is attempting to maintain some relevancy. Little too late if you ask me.
- algaeturd, on 11/12/2008, -4/+33I'm sorry. I didn't hear many of these comments. I was too busy trying to put food on my family.
- BenjaminsDiggs, on 11/12/2008, -8/+37What was so hard about apologizing for this, oh, about 1000 days ago?

O_O - pcbene, on 11/12/2008, -7/+33Really, President Bush? Are those comments *really* the things you regret the most?
- thepoliticalcat, on 11/12/2008, -7/+33Somebody NEEDS to tell the idiots at PowerLine. Just today, they were spouting nonsense along the order of "Bush has never made a gaffe in his life, and Obama needs to be JUST like him." Oh, yeah. Worked so well for Georgie.
- BradOFarrell, on 11/12/2008, -7/+32Oops you ruined the world.
- SpectralSounds, on 11/12/2008, -0/+23Looks have nothing to do with it, he IS smarter than Palin. That is pretty sad, considering Bush is an imbecile.
- inactive, on 11/12/2008, -5/+27Those of you that voted for Bush in 2004 got exactly what you deserved, and the rest of us suffered because of it.
We could have ended it right then and there, but no... you had to vote him. - swrostmore, on 11/12/2008, -1/+23"The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa"
- ogmwtfbbq, on 11/12/2008, -3/+25Katrina response.
- crunchdigg, on 11/12/2008, -2/+23no, he 'knows' he was right to falsify evidence to get us into war.
he has faith that he did the right thing. facts be damned. - jehan60188, on 11/12/2008, -4/+25it's estimated that 100,000 iraqis have died
far from a million, but still a substantial number.
but the bank collapse is due to the deregulation that the Bush administration championed... - rpieszak, on 11/12/2008, -4/+25Hey George, what's that stuck to the bottom of your shoe? The Constitution? Oh, hmm, anyway, what was that you were saying about regretting some comments you made?
- GrogInOhio, on 11/12/2008, -3/+23>"I regret saying some things I shouldn't have said"<
Not nearly as much as many of us regret you ever having been selected president. - douglasr007, on 11/12/2008, -5/+23Mission accomplished!
- inactive, on 11/12/2008, -1/+18That last paragraph sums up the fact that you have no ***** clue what's happening in the world. The fact that you said you like Bush's environmental actions basically states that you might as well build your house in a heap of trash.
- blackgoldbrand, on 11/11/2008, -2/+19Exactly. The problem is I've read this comic before— the 2004 series— and I threw my copy away on November 4th 2008.
- methylamine, on 11/12/2008, -0/+17Sociopaths don't feel regret or shame; and at those levels of politics, they're pretty much all sociopaths.
I believe Douglas Adams said something like "anyone who's capable of achieving the presidency should automatically not be allowed to do it" - criminyjickets, on 11/12/2008, -6/+23Ughhhhh... face palm time. At least he's on his way out. What a jack ass.
- THETEH, on 11/12/2008, -0/+15Hahaha, I'd actually never seen that Bushism before. Awesome.
- austang, on 11/12/2008, -1/+16He should just regret being president.
- greenroom628, on 11/12/2008, -0/+15what about, "Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country."

That's not retarded - its actually really creepy. Unless he means he's going to off himself on his last day. - mikesherov, on 11/12/2008, -2/+16I suppose you're referring to Lincoln suspending Habeus Corpus? Read what the constitutiion of the US actually says:
"The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in cases of rebellion or invasion, the public safety may require it."
See that "unless" clause? I'm pretty sure the civil war counts as rebellion. - inactive, on 11/12/2008, -1/+15The Iraq war *was* bad. I'm not sure what you're getting at there. It wasn't just mismanaged after Saddam was toppled. Who actually thought he wouldn't be? That's not a bet I would have taken in 2002.
The problem with the Iraq war is that it serves no purpose. Or, rather, no purpose that is clear to the American people.
When Bush and Cheney got Colin Powell to sit in front of a national audience and *lie* about Saddam's capabilities of WMDs and nuclear weaponry, that was a scumbag move.
To this very day we don't know why we are in Iraq. We can guess it's either for oil or to build a permanent military base there. But that's far removed from the reasons we were given, such as al-Qaeda and WMDs. Both of which were complete and total lies. - elfprince13, on 11/12/2008, -1/+14that would be Cheney.
- inactive, on 11/12/2008, -1/+14I will mark your words as they will come back to haunt YOU.
Bush is insulated with money and power and a distinct lack of curiosity for the outside world. No way is he ever going to feel bad for the deaths of people he doesn't know nor care about. - Wundur, on 11/12/2008, -17/+30Bush regrets some comments?!!!
Bush you ***** imbecile, the whole ***** world regrets everything about your Presidency!
Satan is the only one I know of that reckons your ok, but he's a ***** just like you! - memorex386, on 11/12/2008, -16/+29Bush is an evil, evil man.
- thenekkidtruth, on 11/12/2008, -6/+18Who cares what George thinks. Listen, George, just go. Go.
And leave the 'O's on the keyboards on your way out. - Kragnerac, on 11/12/2008, -3/+14I hear there's rumors on the, uh... Internets!
- inactive, on 11/12/2008, -0/+11He wants his approval rating to go above 25%. Don't give in to this criminal...he deserves to be hung out to dry.
Punish this war criminal. - McGrude, on 11/12/2008, -1/+12"I the whole country"
