- techmint, on 10/07/2008, -12/+244U.S.A! U.S.A! U.S.A!
- ohnoerino, on 10/07/2008, -6/+181I'm not surprised by this at all.
- darthsand, on 10/07/2008, -11/+167Bush is a bad president.
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -11/+113A modest proposal for Bush apologists...
MOVE TO IRAQ OR AFGHANISTAN
Hear me out...
Bush is a lame duck now -- his approval ratings are at historic lows, lower than Whale *****. His agenda is seeing defeat in the US Congress, and polls show Americans overwhelmingly disagreeing with him on nearly every major issue.
This means YOU ARE PART OF A MINORITY in the United States.
Iraq and Afghanistan are "free and democratic" -- I've seen you people declare so a million times.
There are very few liberals in Iraq and Afghanistan, so you won't be bothered with the awful truth about BushCo's COLOSSAL failures.
On the other hand, Iraq and Afghanistan are chock full of fundamentalist religious whackos who should make you feel right at home.
Oh, and Iraq and Afghanistan are also chock full of terrorists, so you can actually FIGHT THEM, instead of sending other people's children to die or spewing opinions about "liberals."
Think about it... - atdigg, on 10/07/2008, -12/+111As bad as he is we'll cry after him if we get McPalin idiots in charge.
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -6/+101No we didn't.
- sbcea, on 10/07/2008, -8/+102There's still time for impeachment ... seriously, there is.
- angelschambers, on 10/07/2008, -5/+94Those numbers still are not nearly low enough.
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -0/+76he used a cheat code.
- sbcea, on 10/07/2008, -1/+76Actually Lucas123 ... Bush lost the popular vote in 2000. So 'we all' did not elect him twice. I for one didn't 'elect' him at all.
- bstory, on 10/07/2008, -27/+92How bad can he be you all elected him twice!
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -3/+67just checked my files. i didn't vote for him either. must have been that guy You All. what a dick.
- mastermemorex, on 10/07/2008, -3/+64He still has few days to do it even worst.
- kingofinternet, on 10/08/2008, -5/+48yeah, funny how they don't mention the approval rating of congress when they're talking about presidential ratings.
what a wanker - birdly, on 10/08/2008, -0/+42Diebold inc.
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -8/+50He's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick! No, not really.
- mastermemorex, on 10/07/2008, -6/+46You are fired! - The people of America
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -8/+44I accidentally the whole presidency.
- Junior612, on 10/08/2008, -0/+34It was Joe Six Pack voting.
- moredown, on 10/07/2008, -3/+34i coulda told you that without a poll
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -1/+30For such a "lame duck" that ***** seems to get every God damned thing he ***** asks for, no, demands!!!
- 11oops, on 10/08/2008, -0/+29I'm surprised. Surprised that he still has supporters, and surprised that 40%+ are considering voting for a continuation of his policies.
- inactive, on 10/08/2008, -2/+29thanks for your contribution to the downfall of this country, *****.
- 11oops, on 10/08/2008, -0/+27You must be knew to the internet. Do a Google search and read up on the 2000 election results, and if you still have questions watch the HBO documentary 'Hacking Democracy'. That should clear things up.
- sk11, on 10/08/2008, -10/+35Sarah Palin could seriously beat this record.
- inactive, on 10/08/2008, -1/+25Woodrow Wilson is the worst president this country has ever had. He allowed the federal reserve to take over and lamented that fact later.
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -0/+23I'm surprised it's not lower.
- bstory, on 10/07/2008, -6/+28Well if none of you elected him how the hell did he become your President?
- TypeEE, on 10/08/2008, -0/+21Let's assume Diebold helped him to swing 5% more, there are still 40% of people who shouldn't be voting for him.
- 11oops, on 10/08/2008, -1/+21Now 40% of the country has fallen for the old 'vice president you'd like to have a beer with, slip a roofie, and screw in the men's bathroom'.
- absurdist, on 10/08/2008, -7/+26"Thanks, George!"
-Tricky Dick Nixon - RobotKeaton, on 10/08/2008, -3/+22It's true. One time, I saw him EAT a puppy.
- TypeEE, on 10/08/2008, -1/+19no *****.
- Jexie, on 10/08/2008, -1/+18"He also holds the record for highest approval rating."
This would mean in addition to these two records he also holds the record for blowing a bigger lead than any president in history. - chaon93, on 10/08/2008, -1/+18actually he is the ONLY president of this century so far.
- jimmyobama, on 10/07/2008, -13/+30And think about what Congress is doing - they have an even lower approval rating than George Bush! And they just spent 700 billion of your money!!!
- Volatile36, on 10/08/2008, -0/+16They were fooled by the old "president you'd like to have a beer with" thing. Stupid.
Hopefully they won't fall for that b.s. this time. - Katana314, on 10/08/2008, -2/+18I'm of the quiet group that believes America always hated him, and Diebold elected him into office.
- CraigKostelecky, on 10/08/2008, -1/+17I'm sorry. Your only choices are "great president" or "greatest president." So I'll put you down for "great president."
- TypeEE, on 10/08/2008, -0/+16I am only surprised that it took this long for him to earn the crown.
- Walker2323, on 10/08/2008, -2/+18And yet, half of you ***** voted him in for a second term. *shakes head*
- odigity, on 10/07/2008, -2/+17Was it something he said?
- caracter2, on 10/08/2008, -1/+16I disagree on the chock-full of terrorists.
The number of CIVILIAN casualties are CONSERVATIVELY estimated at just over 100,000. Really, how many terrorists do you think there ever was in Iraq? And what the hell where they doing before the US invaded? I'm appalled that people still fail to see that the real tragedy from this war is the devastation to Iraqi and Afghan civilians. This is what causes terrorism. You invade a country and kill some innocent people. Friends or relatives of such people become pissed off at the invading country for this and go after them. The invading country labels them as terrorists or extremists and slaughters them too, thus feeding the hate cycle. Would you not go up in arms against an invading army? That's simply what happens when countries collide. Ron Paul shared this point of view: "They attack us because we are over there". The whole war was pointless to begin with. They posed no significant threat to you. I'm also outraged that they only ever quote US troop casualties (a comparatively small number. About 5,000). Most of such troops died in (I'm sorry) mundane accidents (vehicle accidents, friendly fire, etc). Seeing as I'm neither American nor Iraqi or Afghan I see the reason to end the war from a far more unbiased view. That is, you should not end the war merely because 5,000 of your troops died but rather, because you've killed (directly or indirectly) 100,000 Iraqi civilians (plus many more unaccounted for). How many people died in the 9/11 attacks? Oh yeah.... around 4,000. What do you expect the Iraqi's to do after you've caused the death of more than 100,000 of their people?
Unfortunately, I do think the U.S. is now more prone to be attacked merely because you've spread so much hatred around the world. I sincerely hope no more attacks happen but if they do... don't go all bananas about it.
I'm sorry, I know your comment was more tongue-in-cheek than anything but this is something I feel strong about. I also know this is not the American people's fault but your politicians played you quite well to convince you that going to war was the best choice. I truly hope things change for the better of your country (and the world). I'm from Mexico myself and our government has been ridiculed for being the U.S.'s pet (following in its trail). Unfortunately, this is sometimes true as the U.S. has a great deal of influence on many nations. Hence, that is why it is so important for you guys to do things RIGHT. - chevyorange, on 10/08/2008, -1/+16If democracy spreads throughout the middle east it will be in spite of W.
- jetmax25, on 10/08/2008, -2/+1725% approval?
wow south park is right 1 in 4 Americans are retarded - MelvinSchlubman, on 10/08/2008, -2/+17Go easy on Syphermce. Masochism is a valid psychological illness.

We can't understand it -- we can only try to help. - vxp19, on 10/08/2008, -2/+17What difference does it make?
Even if he had 0.5% approval he'd not be impeached.
So, I ask again: what difference does any of this make, other than provide yet another topic to bitch about (while not doing anything about it / not being able to do anything about it) ? - christopheles, on 10/08/2008, -0/+15Also prohibition passed under Woodrow Wilson two years before Harding took office. You're really bad at this.
- birdly, on 10/08/2008, -0/+15Let's just wait until January and then prosecute the *****.
