- iDragonFly, on 10/12/2007, -4/+30Does Bush even know what 'lament' means?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+21> Does Bush even know what 'lament' means?
He probably thinks it's how the french say "ment". - thenativeraver, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13Instead of focusing on issues, he does what the republicans are good at; Pointing fingers.
- neonic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9wow, 111 diggs and no front page?
- vudicarus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Of course Iraqi insurgent groups want US out of Iraq (why are they otherwise fighting), however, international terrorist #1 Al Queda (remember them?) would prefer Republicans to win. Why?
"Last April, a National Intelligence Estimate, representing the consensus view of the U.S. intelligence community, concluded that Bush’s Iraq War had become the “cause celebre” that had helped spread Islamic extremism around the globe.
In June, U.S. intelligence also learned from an intercepted al-Qaeda communiqué that bin Laden’s terrorist band wants to keep U.S. soldiers bogged down in Iraq as the best way to maintain and expand al-Qaeda’s influence.
“Prolonging the war is in our interest,” wrote “Atiyah,” one of bin Laden’s top lieutenants.
Atiyah’s letter and other internal al-Qaeda communications reveal that one of the group’s biggest worries has been that a prompt U.S. military withdrawal might expose how fragile al-Qaeda’s position is in Iraq and cause many young jihadists to lay down their guns and go home."

Indeed, the facts do speak for themselves. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Wait wait wait.
Did 'p0s3r' just refer to someone as a "dumb troll?"
That, my friends, lays the irony on a bit heavy. - Popdmb, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9That's half the story. Both sides are good at finger pointing. In fact, that's probably the ONLY thing they're good at.
- EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Poser, you continue to amaze me. On average, how many people do you shoot on the way to work?
- llbbl, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Bush = "Lament... isn't that guy who Lieberman lost too?"
- kencyber, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6No, that's a complete falsehood. We do not want Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Boehner and Hastert to win!
- prot0col, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6They also drive drunk, snort cocaine, have gay relationships (hiding them) and ignore what the voters want.
- HawaiiSEO, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6He thinks there are only two kinds of Americans:
Those who are against terrorism, and those who somehow are all right with it. Some Americans want to win in Iraq and some don’t. There are Americans who support the troops and Americans who don’t support the troops. And at the root of it all is the hideously damaging fantasy that there is a gulf between Americans who love their country and those who question his leadership.
What an arrogant and simpleminded idiot. - devindotcom, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4If people are taking their voting tips from the goddamn terrorists, the country's too far gone to save. On the bright side, my ban list just got two users longer!
- devindotcom, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6Both sides are great at finger pointing. But the neocons are great at ruining the country, too. Really, really great.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I wonder why it's being down-weighted? It's got more burials, or what?
I mean, there's more ridiculous articles with just 40-50 diggs on the frontpage right now... - AmishRefugee, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5its so obvious that the democrats want the terrorists to win, i don't understand why bush even needs to say it anymore
[/extreme sarcasm] - llbbl, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3oui oui ...
- EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6This is what Tony Snow was talking about when he said Bush was taking the lead on Climate Change. He meant: in Washington.
Except I think it's getting colder there, not warmer.
BTW, in a sane world, like, say, anytime before 1994, Congress would have censured a President (left or right) for claiming half of Congress wants the enemy to win. - xtmno3, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I don't understand how this is really that big of news. I mean, if you look at a president whose sole method of ruling (whoops, I mean leading) is to instill fear of terrorism in his subjects (citizens), then it makes complete sense that he would bring it up yet again when it seems dark for his buddies.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Ehh up to 126 now...that's kinda getting ridiculous. Obviously the majority has spoken, promote this *****!
- AmishRefugee, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4@atlovemybush
first of all, your name implies that you are about as biased as it gets in these issues
secondly, are you saying that the people will vote republican because the republicans presided over 911? if Gore won in 2000 (and if 911 still happened), would people automatically vote democrat? Anyone who unwaveringly believes all of the useless drivel coming out of our government right now should go jump off of a really high up object before going out to vote. - Aidenag, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Its because im a top 10 user, and digg is removing us top users from the frontpage without openly saying so... Essentially now the people who build up any credibility or respect from the userbase are retired like old folks...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4lovemybush is just a dumb troll. 1 day on digg, posting all these over top comments in EVERY political thread. It's too bad, he's not even funny.
- pintomp3, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2it's the new "improved" algorithm. just in time for elections.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1To paraphrase Bush: "It's really sad the way those filthy anti-american traitors resort to personal attacks and character smears."
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4ahhh, all the typical actions from the pro terror leftists: profanity, mad ramblings, and absolutely no evidence or facts what soever. your pro jihad agenda has become clear as day, and any sane person will NOT fall for your dispicable treasonus ways. you libs make me SICK!
- MaddDog, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1I welcome the change. With less stories being promoted, maybe people will be less concerned about submitting 50 stories a day, hoping to get half of them promoted, where now they will be lucky to get 1 or 2 promoted.
- 1111111111, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1yep, it's simple as that "just say no". We say no for torture, or being in Iraq because it's gone to hell just like it did in Vietnam, we don't like that we're killing innocent people and getting our own killed, we don't think we should be torturing when we aren't suppose to be doing it, we don't like wiretapping everyone, so that somehow means that we want terrorists to win. How black and white mr. president. I found the whole trying part he said funny.. he's the one that trashed habeas corpus.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4“Of course Americans should vote Democrat,” Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group and the infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity, told WND."
"Muhammad Saadi, a senior leader of Islamic Jihad in the northern West Bank town of Jenin, said the Democrats’ talk of withdrawal from Iraq makes him feel “proud.”
“As Arabs and Muslims we feel proud of this talk,” he told WND. “Very proud from the great successes of the Iraqi resistance. This success that brought the big superpower of the world to discuss a possible withdrawal.”

Read it for yourself. The terrorists want the Dem's to win. The Dem's want to pull out of Iraq, therefore conceding the victory to the terrorists. Ergo, the Dem's want the terrorists to win.
The facts speak for themselves. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3"group’s biggest worries has been that a prompt U.S. military withdrawal might expose how fragile al-Qaeda’s position is in Iraq and cause many young jihadists to lay down their guns and go home."
That doesn't even make any sense. How could a US pullout do anything put strengthen al-Qaeda's position? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3The terrorists definitely want the Dem's to win. Not hard to surmise the feeling's mutual.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3buried as BLOGSPAM.
- lovemybush, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2The Dems won't win.
All the liberal media are underestimating the power of the moderate voter.
I can't wait to see there faces on Wednesday when they realize that most of America has not forgotten what happened on 9/11 and strength will prevail.
