- DaDrake, on 03/15/2008, -0/+0Many soldiers join to be part of some romanticized mission of the army. Not exactly sure what is so shocking about his comment. It benefits everyone if soldiers have a certain level of accomplishment and pride in what they do. Of the marines I know (2 in Iraq, 1 in Afghanistan), they are very proud of what they are doing.
