- shupy, on 01/11/2009, -1/+12Well it finally came out that he personally declassified information exposing Valerie Plame.
No one blinked. No one was surprised. After you have been hit over the head a few times, you cease to feel it.
What's going to happen? Nothing, Bush will leave office, and the country has so much crap to deal with that no one will want to bother pursuing it. Unfortunately, when corruption goes so deep, everyone has a little dirt on their hands. So no one goes down, lest all go down. - sarahlee, on 01/11/2009, -0/+11See also:

- stonecircle, on 06/11/2009, -0/+8If nothing is done, if no action is taken, we are condoning torture.
- novenator, on 01/11/2009, -0/+7I think *this* is what they call the smoking gun
- barblibrarian, on 01/12/2009, -0/+6What kind of world do we live in when this shocks no one and this generates no action against this man? Why did he admit to this publicly? Because he knows he is safe making this admission. No action will be taken against him.
I weep for our country and for her future generations. What consequences will they suffer because we took no action against this man for his crimes? - enssss, on 01/11/2009, -0/+5So he consulted lawyers to find out if the options were legal. So he didn't know the Geneva conventions himself? Wasn't he once a member of the military before being elected president? My question: Was the information gained the faulty intelligence used to help us make the mistake of attacking Iraq where we have lost thousands and hundreds of thousands of lives?
- quesi, on 01/12/2009, -0/+5get a rope
- normlsparky, on 01/12/2009, -0/+4He must have finished writing up all of the necessary pardons, including his own.
- CosmicSurfer, on 01/12/2009, -0/+4Now we have both Cheney and Bush on record admitting to breaking the Geneva Conventions. Both seem to have no remorse and both are awfully proud of their inhumanity and lack of conscience. They flaunt it, WE MUST CONVICT
- shupy, on 01/12/2009, -0/+4He consulted lawyers to make sure he could weasle his way out of taking any responsibility for his actions.
Bush has never had to suffer any consequences for his screw ups. Papa and the Bush clan will bail him out every time. - CosmicSurfer, on 01/12/2009, -0/+2This is the bullet
- kemp34, on 01/12/2009, -0/+1If a lawyer tells me its ok to steal a car, does that make it legal?
- CosmicSurfer, on 01/12/2009, -0/+1It's not just the Bush Clan. The House and the Senate will bail him out because they want to "heal"....Another name for refusing to uphold the laws because they might want to do it in the future. THEY ALL NEED to BE FIRED. If they do not convict, we need to fire all of them and bring civil suit
- sheasie, on 01/12/2009, -3/+2"Khalek"??
Not once.
Not twice.
Each and every time!
Bush, the standing President of the United States (during one of the most horrific attacks on American soil), doesn't even know the name of the advertised "9/11 Mastermind" ??!!!
PS. I thought the 9/11 Mastermind was Osama bin Laden?!?! OK, wait. When did this change happen? And so Afghanistan, WTF?!.
Ugh! Bush is so clueless. Cheney is clearly the Mastermind (pun 100% intended).
