UPDATE: Michael Roston takes a look back at Bush’s college transcripts. Bush received grades of 71 and 72 in Economics — a grade that “would correspond with a C-.” - Ebacherville, on 10/10/2007, -60/+425What a fricken moron.. Holy crap I cant beleive thuis guy got elected twice...Sadly the American sheeple are even dumber than Bush.
- espo111, on 10/10/2007, -8/+331hahahahahaha fiscally responsible with the people's money???
wow.
has he seen the national debt lately? 1/3 of our country is now owned by china thanks to him. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -8/+249FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE!
Damn, that retard cracks me up.
Hey President *****, I guess your "fiscal responsibility" is why we bumped up against the debt limit again.
What kind of moron thinks being 9 TRILLION in debt is responsible? - hmmdar, on 10/10/2007, -9/+121The American people did not elect him twice. The electoral college elected him twice. just FYI
- skevimc, on 10/10/2007, -13/+121"I got an A, however, in keeping taxes low and being fiscally responsible with DE people’s money." Largest debt ever. USD losing value at an alarming rate (now equal to Canadian dollar and no longer used to price oil). $3200/per second spent on the war (currently at 453 T-T-T-T-T-RILLION!!). Meanwhile education, FEMA, roads, etc... are suffering. Sounds fiscally responsible to me.
- OMGIAMTHEMAN, on 10/10/2007, -1/+104English: C-
Math: B
History: F
Nepotism: A - Ajajadude, on 10/10/2007, -1/+85Certainly means you understood it better than the guy getting the C.
Either way, it's scary that he thinks the American people would find that funny... - Jexie, on 10/10/2007, -10/+91Well honestly having even an A+ in Econ 101 doesn't make anyone knowledgable in Economics either.
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 10/10/2007, -10/+86Gore won the 2000 election by nearly a million votes.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._presidential_ele ... - blapierre, on 10/10/2007, -2/+78"being fiscally responsible with the people’s money"
LOL - Chompy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+77An A in being fiscally responsible? Bush!? Man, I'd love to be graded on THAT curve.
- benjihad, on 10/10/2007, -6/+79he was appointed by the supreme court in 2000, not elected.
- SinisterSaracen, on 10/10/2007, -4/+76His IQ test, however, came back negative..
- MadScientist420, on 10/10/2007, -1/+73Considering it's Yale, C = F
- 4degrees, on 10/10/2007, -1/+71counting for inflation those grades today would be B+
- felman87, on 10/10/2007, -7/+75This just in, Bush got an F in life.
- ozzyman, on 10/10/2007, -8/+74are you serious? tell me this is fake!! please!! no...seriously..............oh my god.....
- Dumbledorito, on 10/10/2007, -2/+57Apparently being "fiscally responsible" means "not only cutting or de-funding programs to help the less fortunate, but jacking off in their faces as we spend trillions to try and bring about the Rapture."
Aw, hell, even THAT doesn't seem to cover what Bush's goals are anymore. If he added "and I want a pony" at the end of next year's spending bill, it wouldn't surprise me. - oderdigg, on 10/10/2007, -0/+49I'm sure Bush knows plenty about imaginary numbers..
- loganhid, on 10/10/2007, -8/+53I don't believe this prat got even a B.
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 10/10/2007, -4/+48Econ 101? Sounds like "Introduction to Economics" or "Elementary Economics". Some kids take this course in high school. And they get A's in it.
- jojamo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+44Jacking up the national debt to $9 Trillion is "fiscally responsible?!!!?"
- GeneralFailure0, on 10/10/2007, -1/+43Exactly, Economics 101 is so easy that there's no excuse for getting any less than an A, especially if you want to be President.
- Wargalas, on 10/10/2007, -2/+43That doesn't matter. It's all about the electoral votes.
- AnarkeIncarnate, on 10/10/2007, -4/+45He DID get an A.... on a hexadecimal scale
- Cozmcphish, on 10/10/2007, -2/+41Yeah, even our educational system is suffering....people can't even spell "Destroy" correctly :)
- hipnerd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+38No, it's not. Elections should reflect the will of the people. We don't need a "ruling class" to protect us from our bad decisions. Quite the contrary, I'd like a government to protect me from the bad decisions of the ruling class.
- Winded, on 10/10/2007, -2/+40He was a C student so this was probably good for him.
- TWINFM, on 10/10/2007, -4/+39Don't tase our economy, bro!
- Haohmaru, on 10/10/2007, -3/+38Let's be realistic here. Bush is just a figurehead. There are hundreds if not thousands of people making this administration what it is.
And it's pretty clear that the republicans are doing *something* to the voting system since they keep blocking any serious investigations into it. - oderdigg, on 10/10/2007, -9/+43The American people elected him once, after the supreme court handed it to him the first time around. Still, voting once for that ***** is enough to be labeled "idiot".
- MacEnvy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+34You put a lot of "T"s in front of trillion, but it doesn't change the fact that it's actually B-B-B-B-B-ILLION. 453 billion dollars on Iraq so far, not trillion.
- gropo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+33What do you suppose he got in Nation Building 101?
- Snuff99, on 10/10/2007, -4/+36No one to blame but ourselves.
- monkeyrun, on 10/10/2007, -1/+32So shut the F up when the congress cuts your war budget. Thanks.
- AvidPreatorian, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30but he got an 'A' for dumbass in my book
- Wargalas, on 10/10/2007, -0/+29you're almost there buddy, but ti's not 453 trillion. If it were, we'd be bankrupt a LONG time ago.
- Easty, on 10/10/2007, -3/+31'Sheeple'? OH NO YOU DIDN'T!
- Iknockstuffdown, on 10/10/2007, -2/+29Welcome to Idiocracy.
- dmgordon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+27More like an F. He ran up the deficit to unreal levels. Bush is not fiscally responsible.
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 10/10/2007, -3/+29The original poster implied the American people are "dumb" for electing Bush. The American people elected Al Gore by 600,000 votes. Bush won via electoral college votes because the states he did win carried more weight. This has sparked a huge controversy about disbanding the electoral college and letting the popular vote decide the election... This probably won't ever happen, though.
- whatthefu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+25I like a president who can joke, but god damn it Bush, you are just asking for it. We all know you're not a good speaker and perhaps not too intelligent; stop proving us right.
- dagamer34, on 10/10/2007, -1/+24It's ok Mr. President, your 6 years of being a grade A douchebag should help bring that sloppy GPA up.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 10/10/2007, -0/+22"Bush is the one who needs to spend a little more time talking to economists. Many of them have been predicting that the administration’s loose regulatory policies may soon lead to a recession"
You mean we aren't already in one? *****...I'm screwed... - Wacer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+21He got an incomplete.
- ZenMojo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+22No president has EVER been voted out of office during a war in the history of the United States. And Bush started two in the first three years.
- Unlgued, on 10/10/2007, -2/+22You guys are gonna have to pick a lot of rice to afford an SUV in 2040.
- felman87, on 10/10/2007, -2/+21he said he was responsible with people's money. And he is, assuming "responsible" means taking less from rich and more from us. Bush: The anti-robin hood.
