- Berkana, on 10/06/2008, -11/+227What ever happened to "Country First"? Bush has shown that he's willing to sacrifice diplomacy for a campaign. Shame on him.
- algaeturd, on 10/06/2008, -13/+129Maybe he has a lot on his hands what with Martial law coming up and everything.
- matzy1, on 10/06/2008, -11/+113Unbelievable! Counting the days until Obama in office!
- inactive, on 10/06/2008, -18/+117Impeach. Convict. Hang.
- mnpilot, on 10/06/2008, -16/+105Even Bush thinks Obama's ideas are good......McOld is an island with an ugly bitch pit bull.
- duggtodeath, on 10/06/2008, -9/+93Can someone draw an ASCII picture of the founding fathers each doing a facepalm?
- inactive, on 10/06/2008, -8/+80inaccurate? wtf?
- Zarokima, on 10/06/2008, -4/+75That's a typo, it should read "Reported by Republicans as not meshing with their preconceived version of reality." When that happens, you can be sure it's accurate.
- thePuck77, on 10/06/2008, -6/+66"Possibly inaccurate" on an obviously true story (like an AP story, etc) is when a reputation control firm is being paid to bury the article quickly.
- BishkekBuddy, on 10/06/2008, -2/+60He's never BEEN "country first".... he's always been "me & my pals first"
- AshamedAmerican, on 10/06/2008, -5/+57This sure got marked as inaccurate quickly.
- inactive, on 10/06/2008, -9/+58There is absolutely nothing that this criminal regime won't exploit for political gain.
- niradg, on 10/06/2008, -13/+62A good example of why Republicans can't get anything done. They are more concerned with politics than policy.
- robopuppy, on 10/06/2008, -1/+49Meanwhile, another neocon points out that Barack Obama's middle name is Hussein, retardedly suggesting that Saddam Hussein and Barack Obama are somehow related or even the same person. Who knows really, because it's so retarded that normal people can't understand why the neocons keep pointing this out.
In other news, John McCain was lambasted by VoteGOP for apparently being related to serial killer John Wayne Gacy and also being a place that people use to go to the bathroom. Although McCain denies his relation to the notorious Chicagoland serial killer, he was notably mum on his relation to toilets, probably because of all the ***** coming out of his mouth. - inactive, on 10/06/2008, -8/+55Please, find ways to attack Palin other than calling her a bitch. She's an easy target - get her on rape kits, or dinosaurs, or sheer incompetence. Just don't stoop to name-calling. That's the Right's territory, and they hate it when you encroach on their space.
- zerton, on 10/06/2008, -6/+47"possibly inaccurate"
?? its the AP - jackieblu, on 10/06/2008, -6/+45Bush is such an *****. Profound - I know.
- inactive, on 10/06/2008, -4/+41You can't sacrifice something you never had.
- inactive, on 10/06/2008, -6/+43How about desperation from a party that offers no solutions.
- wosayit, on 10/06/2008, -6/+43How is an AP story on news.yahoo get tagged as inaccurate?
I beg for an explanation. - OneLess, on 10/06/2008, -4/+37That's the best ASCII picture I've ever seen.
- FTWmovin2canada, on 10/06/2008, -3/+36http://i37.tinypic.com/2njh64z.jpg
- treehugger87, on 10/06/2008, -5/+37Look up "desperation" in the dictionary and you will see this article.
Where were you when Michael Moore was sounding the alarm bells about George Bush's very real, very recent and very shady connections with Saudi extremists? - martalli, on 10/06/2008, -3/+33Even better, he's willing to sacrifice competency.
- jackelsmack, on 10/06/2008, -4/+32The title and description quotes the AP article directly. The fact that the AP reported it is news itself, and obviously can't be refuted. Does the McCain Bury Brigade have evidence or information that the AP is wrong? Obviously not since this story has just broken.
The people who marked this as inaccurate should be put in a list of not-credible accounts and ignored, there is simply no way 'inaccurate' is a valid rating for this article at this point. - MadKennyP, on 10/06/2008, -4/+32A cite to Newsmax? Might as well use "My Pet Goat" as a source.
- mille716, on 10/06/2008, -2/+29Pull the plug on that ***** before she gets her vote in!
- beasty_dave_Mk2, on 10/06/2008, -4/+28"...The Bush administration has shelved plans to set up a diplomatic outpost in Iran, in part over fears it could affect the U.S. presidential race or be interpreted as political meddling, The Associated Press has learned..."
wow...the inaccurate brigade is a bit full of themselves today...Must really be trying for their bonus "McCain points". - jstreveln, on 10/06/2008, -6/+29lets see whats more important. getting my buddy elected or dealing with a potentially nuclear threat....?
- inactive, on 10/06/2008, -4/+27LOL
Way to show what a hypocrite you are.
So you post because Obama met some people, but you don't mention that Bush had Bin Laden over for lunch?
Rightard dishonesty is amazing.
I guess they figure that being scumbags makes a good nation.
Newsmax? The extremist right wing news site?
LOL
That's like proving blacks are evil by asking the Klan.
HA!
Look at that site. It's got more right wing talking points without any proof ot back it up.
Thanks for illustrating that rightard shills can't address the issues at all, and must try to change the subject.
So answer me seriously: you wouldn't vote for a good man because of who wrote him a letter 20+ years ago?
Because that is not just ignorant, but unbelievably stupid.
Tell you what, shill: if you think the crappy "reporting" in that article is good, submit it.
Sadly we all know it lacks any evidence of...well, ANYTHING. Even the brown people in it aren't wanted by the law or anything, so aside from racist reasons there is no connection. - jeffdjohnson, on 10/06/2008, -1/+23I wonder what potential terrorist threat/attack we'll see "thwarted" in the next 30 days. The Republicans know that's their ace in the hole, so we should just be aware of the upcoming tactic.
- paintgrl, on 10/06/2008, -5/+27Just hang. The rest will take to long.
- Adamande, on 10/06/2008, -4/+25So sending diplomats to Iran would be "meddling" but bombing the ***** out of Iraq is not?
- KaivenTor, on 10/06/2008, -0/+21@VoteGOP: People like you are a big part of the reason why we have so many enemies abroad. Diplomacy isn't about being good buddies with your enemies, it's about coming to a resolution that can potentially benefit both parties (read: us). At some point we're going to have to talk to some of these organizations because we can't go around the problem, we actually have to confront it for something to get solved. Bush uses allies as deflectors and doesn't engage in peace talks with the countries that we should be talking to. Instead he uses bully tactics to make us look menacing (we have more friends than you, do as we say or we'll take your lunch money).
Such tactics have created more enemies in the past 8 years than the past 20.
Iran has a lot of reasons to be pissed off at us, this nuke thing is about asserting sovereignty. Seriously, read a history book, do a Google search, something, anything but listen to the mainstream media or the current administration. Make up Your Own Mind, don't follow the party line just because it's conveniant. This isn't even about Obama, this is about our current foreign policy setup. I don't care who gets elected as long as they look at the situation objectivly. Something that hasn't been happening much in the past 7-8 years. - neognostic, on 10/06/2008, -3/+23When she lies and smears Obama on saying he pals around with terrorists, then she is a bitch.
- ldkronos, on 10/06/2008, -4/+23If this is inaccurate, I'd like to see a post explaining just why it's inaccurate. If you can't do at least that much before burying, I take it as default evidence you are full of *****
- kolyana, on 10/06/2008, -2/+19Oooooooooooooh, and it's an intelligent zinger from the gentleman on the right.
There will be no coming back against THAT sort of intellectual might. Quake in fear, you 'liberaltards'.
*sighs* - kingofinternet, on 10/06/2008, -4/+21this isn't new, bush has politicized the presidency to a ridiculous and shameful level during his tenure.
- kingofinternet, on 10/06/2008, -6/+22hijacked? wtf?
- NotAChickenHawk, on 10/06/2008, -3/+19Almost every anti-Republican story on the front page gets marked this way these days.
Which is more likely - the Republicans never do anything bad, and so every story saying that they do is inaccurate, or the Republicans have set up a team to go and mark stories on Digg that do not portray them favorably as inaccurate? - bagelmaster, on 10/06/2008, -0/+15/s? please god let that be sarcasm. No one could be that stupid as to think martial law would somehow be good?
- JakeKreber, on 10/06/2008, -3/+18Option #1: ignore countries with nuclear weapons, and hope that they will change their minds on their own
Option #2: talk to countries which may have nuclear weapons, with some chance at negotiating and changing their mind
I have never understood why Republicans insist on Option #1. These people went to college and are at least somewhat intelligent, right? So if Option #1 offers a zero percent chance of success, why do they always pick that one? - bontzmachine, on 10/06/2008, -5/+20Citizens for taking away the "may be innacurate" banner.
- EarlOfLade, on 10/06/2008, -0/+15John McCain showed his incompetence by selecting Sarah Palin as his VP.
Sarah Palin showed her incompetence by accepting the VP nomination. - dena489, on 10/06/2008, -0/+15Are you really this stupid?
- Mship, on 10/06/2008, -3/+18How the hell does this get marked as inaccurate when the title of the post on Digg can be inferred from the first paragraph of the article that it is about?
Can someone please post how this is inaccurate? Please I beg you!
From the article, a few paragraphs down.
"Obama has called for unconditional direct talks with the leaders of adversaries such as Iran and North Korea, assuming that groundwork by lower-level officials indicated that the top-level talks would be fruitful.
McCain has ridiculed the suggestion as naive." - inactive, on 10/06/2008, -1/+16I agree, I love the 194,480 multicolored periods.
- thepoliticalcat, on 10/06/2008, -5/+19Did he mean "country first," or is that an extra vowel in there?
- scoetrain, on 10/06/2008, -2/+16Someone should impregnate her mouth.
There. Classy. - woodyinthehoody, on 10/06/2008, -0/+13Is ignorance bliss? For your sake, I hope so.
