- hawkeye17, on 11/15/2007, -1/+11Notice that moin1097 just attacks the messenger but not the message? Typical ploy from ignorant wingnuts.
- lazyink, on 11/15/2007, -0/+8Well we all know that reality has a well known liberal bias ..
- DavidYeah, on 11/15/2007, -0/+8First of all, I disagree that Thinkprogress is anything but an excellent source of liberal and progressive news and viewpoints, whether or not you agree with them.
Here's the source for their reporting. It was originally in CQ magazine, but it is apparenlty unavailable on their web site. This one is from the senate's website, and is a copy of the article, as far as I can tell.

FTA:
"However, much of the “pork” Boehner complained about was requested by Republicans. Aside from the “National Programs and Activities,” the single biggest earmark in the Labor-HHS-Education section of the bill belongs to Sen. Richard C. Shelby, R-Ala., who won $9.3 million for the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The second-largest was requested by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. — $8.4 million for the University of Louisville Research Foundation." - shawnfassett, on 11/15/2007, -0/+7Next we're going to hear how Mitch McConnell & Richard Shelby are secret minions of the sinister Dr. Soros. Get a spine, grow a brain and say you're sorry for the mess you've caused this nation.
- inactive, on 11/15/2007, -1/+6Isn't it ironic that some of these people think facts & figures, all linked and sourced by a sight like TP, is somehow hateful?
I guess the truth is a very scary thing when one bases their entire existence on the lies and propaganda, which most times is not sourced to the original from "news" sources like Fox, Rush, Bill and Sean because, well, that would defeat the purpose of lying.
These people who complain about TP should go ask the idiots they get their info from to back their facts & figures sometime. Half the time Billo & Limpdick just pull numbers out of thin air, like their list of 'accomplishments'. - inactive, on 11/15/2007, -0/+3Hardly surprising you don't get it.
You lack the ethical and moral equiptment to determine right from wrong.
It's why your comments are buried on every story but the ones from right wing cesspools like LGF and mypetjawa and hotair.
If you still don't get it by now you are dumber than I thought. - SoyJames, on 11/15/2007, -0/+3TWO. LARGEST. EARMARKS. PLACED. BY. REPUB. LI. CANS. BUSH. BLAME. MAJORITY.
- inactive, on 11/15/2007, -0/+3His point was that you didn't complain about the Republicans who earmarked millions, you complained that it was reported. But you knew that already right?
- inactive, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2Ah yes. Typical right wing stupidity.
WHAT is hateful about Thinkprogress, hmm? Which group or minority's rights do they attempt to infringe on?
The only people who catch the ***** end of the stick from thinkprogress are scumbags and liars.
But you righards don't care about truth and facts, right? It's all about putting your head up your ass and parroting neocon talking points.
*****. - DavidYeah, on 11/14/2007, -0/+2Bad link, sorry: http://tinyurl.com/34htfl
- inactive, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2But cesspools like LGF are right up your alley?
Damn, you are pathetic.
When you look at your country floundering, you can be proud to know you are part of the problem. - inactive, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2Tired of the truth?
Man, how do you rightards make it through the day being wrong over and over and over?
How is it to live without ethics?
What's it like to support failure and corruption and be dumb enough to come on digg and try to defend that sort of behavior?
Do you donate money to the most corrupt regime in US history? How do you justify that to yourself?
Aside from your ignorant hatred of brown people, WHAT do you get out of being a cheerleader for the neocon agenda?
I guess you think that as a whitey you'll be rewarded. - inactive, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2If the information cannot be supported by facts, then yes, they get roughed up.
Fox falls into that category because they are the most misinformed news source of the MSM.
What's sad is dumbasses like you attempt to debate this without any facts on your side.
Partisanship is NOT a virtue. Blind loyalty to cowards and scumbags just makes you as rotten as they are.
Hey, I bet a recruiter is still open near you. Why not pull your courage together and join up? - DavidYeah, on 11/15/2007, -0/+1Whoops. Oh well. Two mistakes in one post.
- inactive, on 11/15/2007, -4/+2Are you so lacking any intellectual capacity that all you can do is copy & paste that tired line?
- inactive, on 11/15/2007, -5/+1And if it was Fox you would say they were a valid target.
What's your point?
Buried for poking your well indoctrinated head where it doesn't belong. - inactive, on 11/15/2007, -5/+1We also know that reality is stranger than fiction. Thus the existence of websites like thinkprogress, huffingtonpost and rawstory.
- inactive, on 11/15/2007, -6/+1So let me get this straight. Bush vetoes this bill because its full of pork and says so. But since he didn't single out the 20M that come from R's, he's wrong for doing so? Doesn't make sense. There's over 2000 earmarks in the bill that he objects to.
- inactive, on 11/15/2007, -7/+1"Thinkprogress is anything but an excellent source of liberal and progressive news and viewpoints"
You don't know it, but we're saying the same thing. - inactive, on 11/15/2007, -10/+1Does anybody have a link to this that isn't a left wing hate site?
What is Digg?
