Human rights, education, HIV/AIDS prevention in the 3rd world, justice... Are we going to say these people did NOT deserve the medal of honor, and condemn Bush for these too? Or should we recognize that he did something right in these cases?

My opinion is that any decoration received from a war criminal is lessened regardless of the worthiness of the recipient. I would hope that people would have enough pride in their own considerable accomplishments to refuse to be honored by a mass murderer like George Bush.
