- FlaG8r, on 09/02/2008, -23/+671As a Dem I'm a little upset that some of the liberal sites I like to visit didn't heed Obama's call to lay off this story. There's plenty of real dirt on Sarah Palin to go after without having to drag these two teenagers through the mud.
Talk about her involvement in Ted Stevens' 527
Talk about all the federal earmarks she lobbied for as mayor of a tiny town.
Talk about her being on record supporting the 'bridge to nowhere'
Talk about Trooper-gate
Talk about the fact that she's a global warming denier
Talk about her involvement in a party that wants Alaska to secede from the union.
Talk about the fact that McCain's people are just now doing serious vetting
Talk about how little she knows about American history, national issues and foreign policy
But for God's sakes, leave these kids out of it. - MetalMissy, on 09/02/2008, -27/+268There are more pictures here:

By the way, I have the deepest sympathy for this 17 year old girl. I was a 17 year old girl not so long ago. My mother respected that the choices I made were different from hers. I wish Sarah Palin would give the women off America the same respect.
I hope she doesn't get forced to marry him. Poor girl. - dBass, on 09/02/2008, -47/+277Very nice. Congrats John McCain!
- JoshuaLowe, on 09/02/2008, -16/+216"Back off." -- Barack Obama.
Take his advice, Digg. - inactive, on 09/02/2008, -19/+169"Bristol Palin's babydaddy's MySpace says'I DON'T WANT KIDS'"
Which obviously proves Sarah Palin to be an unfit vp contender. - winampman2, on 09/02/2008, -15/+159 Levi Johnston, father of Sarah Palin's grandaughter, boasts, "I'm a f - - -in' redneck...I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s- - - and just f - - -in' chillin' I guess." "Ya f - - - with me I'll kick [your] ass," His status is "in a relationship," but he states, "I DON'T WANT KIDS."
Spoken like a real American! - francis7, on 09/02/2008, -23/+147why the ***** do i care?
- ZenMojo, on 09/02/2008, -25/+130So the Palin pregnancy wasn't outed by the Libs but by the National Enquirer? This is definitely not going away.
- aussiejan, on 09/02/2008, -8/+112She is being forced to marry him. He sounds like a real prince. I give it a year. As you say, poor girl.
- EatingPie, on 09/02/2008, -32/+135So because he is in a relationship with the 17 year old daughter of VP candidate, we are fit to judge him?
During the Monika Lewinsky scandal, many people said it was Clinton's private affair and we should not be politicizing it. Yet, the same people are now politicizing this young guy's relationship with his girlfriend, and he's not a politician, nor is he running for office.
-Pie - Berkana, on 09/02/2008, -9/+108Ah, yes Levi, tell that to the armed family with the moose hunting mom.
- rald84, on 09/02/2008, -4/+98he should have kept his johnson in his Levi's
- inactive, on 09/02/2008, -28/+115You gotta admit its pretty delicious, that the person who works against sex education and pushes abstinence only crap; has a 17 year old daughter who is knocked up by this prick.
- ploofka, on 09/02/2008, -1/+72America! ***** yea!
- MetalMissy, on 09/02/2008, -8/+69Maybe people who don't want children should use birth control. That's what my mother taught me.
I would like to hear from Sarah Palin if her daughter ever approached her to ask about birth control, and I would like to know what advice Bristol Palin was given.
What kind of access do 17 year olds have to birth control in Alaska? - cquinnd, on 09/02/2008, -8/+61My understanding is Sarah Palin is opposed to birth control.
- roflomg, on 09/02/2008, -7/+58Doesn't want kids.
Just wants to f--king chill, go f--king caming and f--king fishing, and play some f--king hockey.
And maybe have a little unprotected f--king sex.
Damn, is that too much to ask? - PuterPrsn, on 09/02/2008, -7/+58No, it was "outed" by Ms. Palin herself. Let's get the facts straight here.
- DreKor, on 09/02/2008, -10/+61Clinton's affair didn't highlight the personal failings of a strict Abstinence Only policy.
- z00k, on 09/02/2008, -4/+53Why are you asking us?
- mywhitenoise, on 09/02/2008, -12/+59The majority of American voters are the retarded Maury audience. This type of gossip is perfect to leak.
All the intellects already know how horrible of a combination McCain and Palin really are. - crapuccino, on 09/02/2008, -22/+70Would the GOP leave off if the situation was reversed?
I think not. - jotate, on 09/02/2008, -15/+62Two wrongs don't make a right. Because the GOP would grind this story into November, doesn't mean the Dems should. Just because the terrorist behead our captives, doesn't mean we should throw out our principles and behead them.
Don't worry, when you grow up, you'll understand. - DreKor, on 09/02/2008, -1/+46What a charming young man.
- 03FightOn, on 09/02/2008, -31/+76who at 17 does? so....Kill it?
- staffell, on 09/02/2008, -1/+45Welcome to the world of politics. The Palin nightmare has only just begun.
- tacroy, on 09/02/2008, -16/+60Crap! I didn't realize his VP was a 17 year old girl!
- Chebsi, on 09/02/2008, -1/+43Why are there waffles on my head?
- Ajajadude, on 09/02/2008, -1/+42You're right, two wrongs don't make a right. The sad thing is dirty campaigns seem usually win over clean run campaigns.
- mywhitenoise, on 09/02/2008, -8/+44It's not his fault his VP running mates daughters childs father is a dumb hick.
but, ***** McCain and Palin! - Ymeg, on 09/02/2008, -5/+40This is not news: More at 11.
- ryan83189, on 09/02/2008, -8/+42Who the ***** does want a kid at 17? As long as he mans up and takes responsibility what's wrong?
- PSotter, on 09/02/2008, -4/+38I love this kid already. This whole spectacle is like a reality TV show on Fox. I'm loving every white-trash minute of it.
- mCanada, on 09/02/2008, -1/+35Once again theonion.com is indistinguishable from reality........
- iamghost, on 09/02/2008, -6/+39if you were a parent you would realize that try as you might, kids also have a free will.
- shawn1122, on 09/02/2008, -3/+31Spankk, it very much sounds like she is being forced to marry him. It's sort of a normal thing to do, in order to keep the honour of the family I guess. I don't agree with it at all though, marriage should never ever be forced, I highly doubt these two kids love each other. They were probably just attracted to each other and decided to fool around. To be stuck with someone for the rest of your life just because of one foolish mistake would be torture. Both parents should be responsible for caring for the child, but forcing them to marry is just not right. I hope Sarah asked Bristol if she wants to marry the guy at least once, and I hope this guy had a say in it.
Seriously kids, if your parents are all about abstinence but you are just so damn horny that you gotta *****, then use a condom and even pills if necessary. Even if you are lying to your parents at least you won't have to show up one day and say "SURPRISE IM PREGNANT!!" and have them hang their heads in shame in front of you. - inactive, on 09/02/2008, -14/+43Buried, enough all ***** ready
- t3rmv3locity, on 09/02/2008, -7/+35Welcome to the world of Karl Rove style politics.
- Spade914, on 09/02/2008, -1/+29Well this obviously influences MY vote!
- bubba9999, on 09/02/2008, -1/+27She should be happy. He's like K-Fed Junior minus the talent.
AIIIGHT? - sevvo, on 09/02/2008, -1/+26"Go 'way! 'batin!!"
- purzzzell, on 09/02/2008, -8/+33@iamghost
but it seems that Sarah Palin DOES NOT realize this, as it's been proven that advocating no birth control other than abstinence is counterproductive. - DreKor, on 09/02/2008, -8/+32Yeah, but he didn't advocate such a policy, did he :) I'm not judging a 17 year-old , I'm judging a 17 year-old's mom and her apparent inability to run a family, much less a country.
- bromac, on 09/02/2008, -1/+23The hypocrisy of conservatives.
Is it ok to go after people for their sexual activity? *cough*clinton*cough* The big deal here isn't for liberals: they don't care, "family values" isn't an issue for them. It's for conservatives. Its a hole in her net trying to catch those far right wingers who DO care about whether or not she can "control" her kids, or whatever.
It's only a big deal for the Republicans because they make "family values" an election issue. If it was a non-issue...well, enough said. - alexhouse, on 09/02/2008, -8/+30Dugg for sarcasm and then buried just in case it wasn't.
- Sylenus, on 09/02/2008, -2/+23Who cares?
- Lionhart, on 09/02/2008, -0/+21talent?
- imhalfpirate, on 09/02/2008, -5/+26Move along Digg. Move along...
- Lula87, on 09/02/2008, -6/+27This is why abortion needs to be safe and legal and schools need to teach students about safe sex practices.
Otherwise we end up with a bunch of rednecks having babies in their teens and becoming grandarents in their early 40s. - CoolHandLuke, on 09/02/2008, -4/+26whew... I almost had to go 30 minutes without a breaking news "Sarah Palin" story.
