- ryanvanlaar, on 03/11/2009, -14/+586Wow, who could have seen this coming?!
- ReasonWinsOut, on 03/12/2009, -12/+403Can't say there is or should be any surprises here. Bristol Palin -- the poster child for the inefficacy of abstinence-only education -- and Levi Johnston -- the self-proclaimed "*****' redneck" -- were never going to be married anyway. Their "engagement" was as patently political and transparently pandering as was John McCain's pick of Sarah Palin in the first place.
- PhillyMJS, on 03/12/2009, -6/+374Maybe I've seen Idiocracy one too many times, but I bet that dude knocks up another teen hoochie before the end of the year.
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -6/+279Whoa, I didn't realize she had such a huge rack.
- inactive, on 03/12/2009, -12/+208Wow, I'm really surprised by Bristol. I almost kind of like her. I'm hoping that in the next few years she'll go to a liberal arts college far away from Alaska, say "***** you" to her whackjob parents, discover that she's a lesbian, and start up her own pro-choice organization.
- auntieang69, on 03/11/2009, -12/+195Oh wow! This is a SHOCKER! I bet they would Still be together if McCain/Palin would have won though, lol
He was just stayin to see if he could get a Cushy Job or some kind of fame if they would have won. Otherwise, I think everyone saw this one coming a mile away. - bibeldyboo, on 03/12/2009, -6/+185jesus is not gonna be happy about this.
- inactive, on 03/11/2009, -15/+140Everyone yell and scream and cheer if you're surprised.
*chirp* *chirp* *chirp*
Hmm, I guess that's a no. - Misinformant, on 03/12/2009, -2/+123LOL FAMILY VALUES LOL
- Spymodhf, on 03/12/2009, -10/+123what a Tripp!
- JamesK, on 03/12/2009, -4/+110Sarah Palin made Bristol an issue with her positions on abstinence. Bristol herself has been giving interviews to the national media about it.
So it's not hypocrisy to thump the bible about the sanctity of marriage then have a baby out of wedlock?
People in glass houses should not throw stones or legislate it. - inactive, on 03/12/2009, -4/+108That's what pregnancy does to a chick!! BOOBS ftw! Either way, I would bounce those like a check.
- jm5chn, on 03/12/2009, -6/+79I'm surprised it didn't come earlier...like the day after McCain - Palin lost their campaign
- enantiodromia, on 03/12/2009, -7/+76does this mean Todd Palin can ask for the dowry back? i believe they settled on 12 goats, 3 horse blankets, and a handful of shiny rocks
- blackinthmiddle, on 03/12/2009, -8/+75Clearly you don't get it. As a Christian myself, I'll clarify.
Palin was picked because she was supposed to be the quintessential conservative Christian. Together with John McCain, they were supposed to be the antithesis of what "liberals" are (again, the fact that I'm a born-again Christian and "liberal" shows you just how stupid these labels are). Meanwhile, Barack and his family show themselves to be squeaky clean while Palin and McCain...not so much.
We all know that *nobody's* perfect and Bristol could have easily gotten a back-door abortion and no one would have been the wiser (including her mother), so she is to be commended for that. But it's just a little ironic that Palin has no problem putting herself out there as a paragon of conservative Christianity and then you find out her daughter's having premarital sex and all of the scandals involving Palin.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with trying to live up to the standards of being Christian. There's also nothing wrong with making mistakes. I've learned over the years, however, to not judge others as the same things you're judging somebody on often have a way of coming back to bite you. - emailowndme, on 03/12/2009, -3/+67Dew, you are mistaken.
The left was very offended by Palin, her anti-womens right's views were very scary to us. The way she damned homosexuality, premarital sex, proper sexual education, etc.
You may not see it this way, but to many of us, this is some sort of cosmic justice, that her daughter is the very pinnacle of the failures of every one of those policies.
Like McCain's daughter's voting for Obama, it's just one of those things that are hilarious to us.
That said, I hope Bristol Palin's baby is happy, healthy, and afforded every possible opportunity in the world. It's not his or her fault that her grandmother is the devil incarnate. - rawfulexdee, on 03/12/2009, -3/+60What?!? If two teenagers bound only by an unwanted baby can't make it in this world, what hope does that give for the rest of us?!?
- rawfulexdee, on 03/12/2009, -2/+55Or we just don't talk about Sasha and Malia because they're ***** eight and ten. If you can't see the difference between talking about a grown woman and mother, and talking about girls in elementary school, do the world a favor and kill yourself.
Bristol Palin is a grown woman who is proof that the policies of her own mother don't work. I think that line at least somewhat goes away when they're ADULTS. - ZeroCubed, on 03/12/2009, -0/+44she'd be a pretty hot lesbian
- Shirt, on 03/12/2009, -2/+46Looks like he won't be Naylin' Paylin' anymore.
- inactive, on 03/12/2009, -0/+42They were being kept together for the election. Once that was over, so was the pressure.
- wtrwlkr, on 03/12/2009, -4/+43You're right. Republicans keep it on the high road. Like referring to the President as Hussein in order to link him to scary Arabs and write songs entitled "Barack The Magic Negro". The Republicans would never stoop so low.
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -6/+44DURP DUR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTISANS DURP-UH DURRR HURRRRRR
- OSXpert, on 03/12/2009, -2/+40If you saw this coming from a mile away, you probably have good enough eyes to spot Russia from US soil.
- mnpilot, on 03/12/2009, -9/+46Don't come between me and my snowmachine bitch!
- doswarrior, on 03/12/2009, -4/+41So...you're telling me there's a chance?
- Maxxpowers, on 03/12/2009, -2/+37This is completely unexpected.
My world has shattered. - haentz, on 03/12/2009, -1/+36No, you can't see Idiocracy too many times.
- AndySavage, on 03/12/2009, -4/+38Score another one for Abstinence-Only Sex Education! SINGLE MOMS RULE!
- digggggggggg, on 03/12/2009, -1/+34A few more pregnancies and she'll have the whole fried eggs on a nail kinda rack.
- DankBuddz, on 03/12/2009, -0/+32She actually dumped him around a month ago, basically for being too "white trash".
Try and figure that one out... - Probatus, on 03/12/2009, -1/+33"I knocked up Sarah Palin's daughter and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt!"
- areber04, on 03/12/2009, -1/+33Neo-bamas? That doesn't even make sense...
- algaeturd, on 03/12/2009, -13/+44That's actually a horribly wrong assumption. What 'we' saw coming as a nation was a tyrannical mom who would MAKE those two stay together despite their personal feelings for her public perception and so she could eventually say, 'I told you so' about her daughter getting married at such a young age.
So while you suggest that this was obviously the way it was going to end, I'm a LOT more shocked that the powers that be allowed those two to split at all.
I can't even begin to believe that Bristol has some kind of say so in her own life at this point. - greenwald, on 03/12/2009, -6/+37My guess is angry Mama Bear's x son-in-law will be aerial wolf hunt bait soon.
- Billions, on 03/12/2009, -5/+35The term 'schadenfreude' comes to mind as I move to press 'Digg it'. Eh, I'm a dick I guess.
This one's for the wolves hunted from the skies!
*click* - theSAMOL, on 03/12/2009, -2/+32Or because those kids are in elementary school, while Bristol is a legal adult.
Just sayin'. - mushoo, on 03/12/2009, -2/+30Do you mean Clevon or Clevon Jr.?
Clevon Jr. (Wes Davis): "Yeah! Yeah! I'm gonna ***** all y'all!"
Clevon (Ryan Ransdell): "That's my boy!"
Clevon Jr.: "Whoo! Whoo!"
http://www.gotwavs.com/Movies/Idiocracy.html - Berkana, on 03/12/2009, -5/+33Yes, but would you want Sarah Palin as your mother-in-law?
- HotSaucePanCake, on 03/12/2009, -2/+30She is cute, I will give you that.
- rypic7, on 03/12/2009, -1/+28and somewhere in there, show us her boobs.
- sockpuppets, on 03/12/2009, -2/+29http://instantcrickets.com/
- ninjaturtles1, on 03/12/2009, -5/+32and I jizzed in my pants!
- netant, on 03/12/2009, -1/+26Remember, the mother-in-law (or grandmother-in-law?) just got busted for running a meth lab. Married or not, its going to be a liability.
- normlsparky, on 03/12/2009, -10/+35I would have bailed out of that relationship as soon as I found out who her mom was.
- DaviDTC, on 03/12/2009, -3/+27So you are saying Obama will be a 2 term president right? It will be 8 years before one of his kids is 18, like Bristol Palin.
- Berkana, on 03/12/2009, -1/+25Trust me, there's probably plenty Jesus isn't happy about already. She's doing herself a favor by not marrying him.
- TheUngod, on 03/12/2009, -1/+24To be fair, what else is there to do in Alaska? You hunt, or you *****.
- tuka, on 03/12/2009, -0/+23Sarah Palin could see this coming..... from her front porch!
- Pixelante, on 03/12/2009, -2/+25No surprises here. Shotgun weddings tend to be short range and spread over distance. Want something to last, you go for sniper weddings.
