In a single stroke we've done more to redeem ourselves in the eyes of the world than any moment in my lifetime. To think we could have lost such an opportunity to people more concerned with capital gains and legislating morality for the rest of us is truly frightening. I feel like I will be waking up to new possibilities tomorrow. I can't even believe the popular vote was as close as it was.
