- canewediggit, on 01/17/2008, -6/+63an anonymous posting from a public computer to ronpaulforums.com? it MUST be true!
- inactive, on 01/17/2008, -6/+37I had hoped some true American would step forward and back the best hope we have for getting America back on the right road.
- marhlfld, on 01/17/2008, -1/+31I'll believe it when I see it, until then, MONEY BOMB ON JAN 21!!!
- Fallbackpuppet, on 01/17/2008, -5/+34If it is true it is great
- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -5/+34it's Rockefeller. Ron Paul has to agree to a "few changes" to his platform to qualify.
1.- We go ahead with the NAU as planned.
2.- The Federal Reserve gets to continue defrauding the U.S. citizens. NO competing currencies.
3.- Iran will be invaded, and the Oil Cartel protected, keeping oil expensive.
4.- Mandatory chip implants for all U.S. Citizens.
5.- Ban ownership of guns,
6.- Patriot act must be enhanced and made permanant.
7.- Internet Reglated and Taxed.
8.- IRS enhanced powers, FEMA camps for tax evaders.
9.- 9/11 truthers executed.
10.- Worldwide carbon tax implemented.
11.- forced immunizations for all citizens. Mercury is GOOD for you.
12.- Bury Brigade to become supreme court judges. - nomad943, on 01/17/2008, -1/+27Stories are nice but let's remain realists and not let up on our personal efforts.
If this news is true it would be greatly welcomed. If not than nothing has changed. SSDD. Back to work :) - cdwitmer, on 01/17/2008, -1/+25Well, we shall see. But regardless of whether this is true or just someone pulling our leg, what we have to do remains unchanged. Billionaire backer or no, famous actor or no, our job is still the same and the ultimate outcome can be the same as long as we remain permanently committed to promoting Ron Paul's ideas. I mean, in a worst case scenario Ron Paul could drop dead tomorrow of a heart attack and our ultimate victory would still be possible -- but only if we recognize that this war for the hearts and minds of men is much larger than just Ron Paul and the 2008 presidential elections. Keep up the good fight!
- bsegovia, on 01/17/2008, -11/+34whoa.. this is the stuff of legends
- WRellim, on 01/17/2008, -1/+22I see. Sorry Rudy (Huck? Fred? John-Bomb? Willard?), but we're not biting... we're still donating to Ron, cause we know he wouldn't sell out, and we're not stoopid ya know. (Not all candidates supporters are like yours.)
- wstrucke, on 01/17/2008, -3/+23pretty much the sentiment there, but hell, it's nice to think that it's possible. either way, fight on!!
- V3n0M, on 01/17/2008, -1/+19I'll believe it when I see it. I hope it's true - I'd love to see the mini-series in primetime. But, I wouldn't put it past our friends at LGF to pull a stunt like this.
- faxxy, on 01/17/2008, -2/+19Whatever happens, continue spreading RP's message:
http://KickApathy.com - commondreamer, on 01/17/2008, -3/+20ah yes of course coming from the true supporter of hatred and intolerance, very ironic indeed. You are a waste of human space
- Minarchian, on 01/17/2008, -4/+21Billionaire Paypal founder Peter Thiel?
In December 2007, he endorsed Ron Paul for President
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Thiel - 86thefed, on 01/17/2008, -7/+23This movement is larger than RON PAUL and the MSM or anyone cannot destroy all of us. Our numbers are growing and we will take back Washington whether they like it or not. It starts with REAL elections. The FRUAD must stop. Then we will be able to remove the corruption and widdle away at the problem.
With a sleeping giant to back us we will gain more and more speed and more and more numbers.
RON PAUL REVOLUTION... RESTORE THE REPUBLIC - mediaspree, on 01/17/2008, -5/+19Richard Branson
- btwilli1, on 01/17/2008, -2/+16Hey Billionaire guy, help get the Ron Paul Air Corps to Mardi Gras at www.pauldigras.com!
- GARussell, on 01/17/2008, -2/+16A name would be helpful. This reminds me of Ed Clark's 1980 Libertarian run with Koch as his running mate.
- phenry, on 01/17/2008, -1/+14Nobody is going to do this for us, we have to do the hard work ourselves... All of us!
- johnb321, on 01/17/2008, -2/+15This is an interesting development.
- tomerdean, on 01/17/2008, -1/+14I truely hope this is for real.... I know if I was a billionare, this would be a great cause... he probably knows that if Ron Paul is elected [no more IRS] he would save millions... so it's probably worth it for him to fight for this...
- phenry, on 01/17/2008, -4/+17I'm old and cynical. I call BS....
- wstrucke, on 01/17/2008, -2/+15this is a clip from a comment on ronpaulforums in response to your question:

We can hope. We can watch the media's reaction to this and see if they start acting like journalists all of a sudden." - inactive, on 01/17/2008, -2/+14looks like they might know Herkimer56 and the rest of his trolls... i hope they expose you ***** for the anti Americana's you truly are
"Teams of individuals have been hired by candidates to write disinformation about Ron Paul on forums, including here, to manipulate polls and to post on the social networking sites. Furthermore even one media outlet has also dedicated individuals to deal with the grassroots postings online."
you know it could be Bloomberg?.... i hope this is true... if nothing else it is inspiring - hyperfocus, on 01/17/2008, -4/+16Holy ***** Nickels!!! Could this be true?
PLEASE:PLEASE:PLEASE:PLEASE:PLEASE - thegr8drronpaul, on 01/17/2008, -1/+12hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm all I want is a few extra signs to put up in my town, but if this is legit, I'll go for this too.
- janeuner, on 01/17/2008, -0/+11I call shenanigans.
- inactive, on 01/17/2008, -0/+11Is Branson an American? I thought he was British.
What about the Google guys or maybe even one of the top Microsoft guys? - LetTheEgoSoar, on 01/17/2008, -1/+12I hope this is true ... just to see it happen would be sweet.
- JamesMadison, on 01/17/2008, -2/+12Bloomberg a Libertarian or Ron Paul supporter ?
Please tell me you've been drinking.
Bloomberg is a disgraceful human being...Just ask the first responders of 9-11. - dthomasdigital, on 01/17/2008, -1/+11I have to wait and see, but I sure hope it's true.
- inactive, on 01/17/2008, -2/+12somebody else posted this on dailypaul and he is not a troll
- endora123, on 01/17/2008, -3/+13The breathless cloak-and-dagger hype is a bit over the top. Why all the secrecy? Why wait? It makes zero sense. The primaries are rolling, and the Paulies are indeed getting negative. DO SOMETHING NOW.
- nalicosh, on 01/17/2008, -1/+10campaign HQ has NO knowledge of this. too sketchy to trust. don't get your hopes up without confirmation. and remember
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAWClI8zsH4 - inactive, on 01/17/2008, -11/+19Yes I'm sure all the history books will be talking about this day of "legend" for years to come, but I didn't realize money was the thing holding him back, didn't he just raise the most campaign money ever, in a single weekend not too long ago?
What'll be so legendary about this? - Minarchian, on 01/17/2008, -3/+11By that letter I wouldn't expect someone with a big name like Branson...But ya never know...I'm just hoping the letter is true.
- OnGard4Liberty, on 01/17/2008, -6/+14"I am a friend of the Free State Project. Check it out...and if you like it, join and continue the effort!" -- Rep. Ron Paul
http://www.freestateproject.org/intro/ron_paul - ProfNo, on 01/17/2008, -1/+8Don't know if it is true, and it is probably not, but it is worth a digg regardless.
- tommy7154, on 01/17/2008, -2/+9Agreed, this is much bigger than just Ron Paul, though he should be given the credit he deserves for starting this revolution. Wait until the media attacks the internet. The only logical thing for them to do is try and gain control and regulate it, or they're screwed. Of course they know that now, and everyone needs to make sure it never happens.
- inactive, on 01/17/2008, -1/+8I knew OBL would finally come to his senses.
- canewediggit, on 01/17/2008, -6/+13i look really sexy in a black robe. especially when i go commando.
- Minarchian, on 01/17/2008, -1/+8Exactly!
The letter was probably a sham but it was interesting. - vincebodie, on 01/17/2008, -2/+9Funny someone mentioned Mark Cuban. I was watching him on Maher the other night and thinking to myself "now there's a guy who really seems to have his head on straight."
- Minarchian, on 01/17/2008, -1/+8He sold it to a corp. and it's now headed by that wench as CEO...I forget her name. She's heading up Romney's financials for his campaign. Theil no longer has a connection to Paypal, as far as I know (except for stocks maybe).
- inactive, on 01/17/2008, -2/+8How much do they pay you for this? And do you really believe the Constitution is about hatred and intolerance? Do you really think anyone actually takes you seriously?
- inactive, on 01/17/2008, -3/+9"With the current funds of 20 million Paul could afford 2 and he would be broke." Neither will a billion and the billionaire is NOT going to give him a billion to run on.
And I suppose you don't think that any billionaires support any of the other candidates? What a bunch of fools. - MindStalker, on 01/17/2008, -2/+8Meh, it cost Perot about 10 Million per informerical he released. With the current funds of 20 million Paul could afford 2 and he would be broke. But your right, its not just about money, its about exposure. The anointed candidates all have been effectively given 100s of millions of dollars worth of free advertising by the media, Paul's 20 million can't touch this.
- Minarchian, on 01/17/2008, -1/+7But I doubt that it's true.
We just need to keep carrying the torch. - prorenata, on 01/17/2008, -4/+10Branson of Virgin, cool! Spread the high flying love
