Bill To Decriminalize Marijuana Is Stalled - Whats The Hold
strainreview.com — When the New Hampshire House of Representatives voted to decriminalize the possession of small amounts of marijuana, it was the first time the legislative body approved reducing the penalty for having pot. Now the bill is halted, could it be from Dep. Scott Burns' lies?

- kyleain, on 03/28/2008, -3/+12I enjoy making easy money by confiscating the property of those with drugs and tormenting them. It helps me to get the dates I otherwise wouldn't have gotten. I love taking bribes. I love playing hero to the gullible. I pay off my master to crush keep bills like this or keep them in limbo. Who's gonna stop me? I have the guns, I have the spy tech, I have the money, and I have desperate poor eager for bribes on my side too.
- Phrag, on 03/28/2008, -2/+1The dealer who pays your bribe and then shoots you in the back.
- TrevaLVF, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1Basically, the dealer isn't going to pay the bribe, then shoot the cop that's accepting it, unless the cop is known for not holding up his/her end of the bargain.
How 'bout the DEA agent and local cops that take the bribe, the dope and shoot the dealer in the back, then but his dead cold fingertips on the barrel and trigger to make it look like the shooting was in self-defense?

- kyleain, on 03/28/2008, -6/+3Ignore the "keep" after crush. My obnoxious neighbor drives me nuts playing music loudly above me, it's really distracting.
- StickyStar, on 03/28/2008, -1/+7Bribes.. Obviously he was paid off. I mean cmon who makes up those kind of lies out of no where! Why is the decriminalization of marijuana such a tough bill to pass? Because there is Money involved.
Now time to go to bed... got work in the morning ;)- evilcaptain, on 03/28/2008, -0/+3Actually more money than I can imagine! Also it might leave the door open for using the plant for more than drugs. Food, clothes, fuel, plastic and a heap of other things that can be made from it are also criminal. That is the real travesty!
- tehbored, on 03/28/2008, -1/+1Yeah, but a lot of those things are better made of other materials. Ethanol made from hemp is no less ***** than ethanol made from corn, which in turn is only slightly more ***** than cellulosic ethanol. Fabric made from hemp would be alright I guess, but it isn't that big a deal (also, I think you can get it in Canada though I'm not sure). Marijuana's primary uses are as a medicinal and recreational drug.
- TrevaLVF, on 03/30/2008, -0/+2You never heard of bio-diesel? Hemp can be used for that. If legalized where anybody can grow it without paying outrageous fees to do it, hemp is a better alternative to some of the plants used for oils needed to make bio-diesel. It's easy to grow, matures quickly and is a very hardy plant (can be grown just about anywhere). Under the right conditions, one plant can develop full and lush, providing more substance to use for alternative fuel and other byproducts, than plants like corn (You only get so many heads of corn on each stalk). Besides, using hemp for fuel is better than cutting into the vegetable food supply, which can help prevent the economic and social problems that greater dependency on food produce for fuel can cause.
As for hemp products, I can't complain about most of the ones I own.
I have some fabric items made of hemp. They're a little like cotton, but very soft. Good quality stuff.
The US Constitution was written on paper made of hemp.
Plumbers used hemp rope all the time.
Hemp can be used to make furnitures.
There are a lot more different products you can make from hemp besides the type I just mentioned.

- Phrag, on 03/28/2008, -1/+12Honesty is the enemy for those who wish to keep marijuana criminalized.
- Lapdog1123, on 03/28/2008, -0/+21Its a ***** plant! I smoke pot, and I deal with CEOs of milti-million dollar corporations day to day... I am a productive member of society. If I was to get busted with pot, I would be instantly labeled as some stoner, ass hat and a criminal. I enjoy my vice in a responsible manner, and hurt no one doing it. So because some dude said pot is bad, and textile and drug manufacturers stand to lose some money, I cant enjoy a joint after work.... This country / society if full of morons. I say *****'um and light it up!
- sap959, on 03/28/2008, -0/+3HERE HERE! my weed smokin amigo!
- GuacamoleSan, on 03/28/2008, -0/+3cheers!
- StickyStar, on 03/28/2008, -0/+6I just hate what the medica has done to Marijuana. I hope this generation can break the cycle. After all the "Dangerous Drug" Era is over, no one listens to that crap. But its still embedded into peoples head. thats why we have to change that! Marijuana has come a long away this past 2 decades..
- Chassit, on 03/28/2008, -0/+3Ninety joints out of a quarter? Ha! I wish!
- MJ420, on 03/28/2008, -0/+7I say...If I can take care of my job, my house, my family, pay my taxes and just being a plain nice guy...The who the ***** is going to tell me what or what not to smoke? Its a victimless crime for crying out loud..Its my own personal therapi
- StickyStar, on 03/28/2008, -0/+0Media** correction to previous comment.
- slavetofood, on 03/28/2008, -0/+2There will always be complications... the government fears Marijuana.
- Spamcan, on 03/28/2008, -0/+290 joints out of a quarter? That's a magic trick I gotta see! Sadly the anti-drug crowd is so intent on keeping their heads in the sand that most people will actually believe that. "8 jillion joints can be rolled with a pinch of demon weed. Remember kids, Marijuana KILLS! "
