- jaymzdean, on 05/10/2008, -9/+82It's been reported that Bill is a big fan of Karl Rove and It's crystal clear at this point that he is using the Rovian tactic of painting his own narrative of history despite the facts not holding up to scrutiny.
I was a little shocked at the volume of the applause on Bill's behalf. When I heard that, I was presented with a vision of a mindless field of sheep, followed by the depressing reinforcement of my growing belief that a critical mass of Americans are morons. - LLSt, on 05/10/2008, -7/+72Bill Clinton is more than likely to end up in CCU (Coronary Care Unit) by the end of the week-end. He looked absolutely hung over and suffering from some sort of imbalance of his meds - Talk about needing health care. I hope they had a stretcher there, and a defillabrator. The lady was absolutely correct - Their health care plan was an utter failure.
- sofaKing812, on 05/10/2008, -7/+57I like angry, finger wagging Bill.
- msjentay, on 05/10/2008, -4/+45He's gone looney-tunes. I'm not sure which of them were correct, but saying that Hillary has "more credibility than anybody" is crazy-talk.
- inactive, on 05/10/2008, -4/+42He starts buying his own ***** at 45 seconds into the video. Watch as he looks into the crowd to see if everyone else is buying it too.
- purpmint008, on 05/10/2008, -7/+34Perfect show of gang mentality and sheeple nature.
- AManWithNoName, on 05/10/2008, -3/+28That video player sucks. Same video on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypgWzgwM4wg - inactive, on 05/10/2008, -8/+30Billary rages. Hilarity ensues.
- whatthefu, on 05/10/2008, -1/+23Can we please focus on the issues now? Clinton will not be the nominee. This is like beating a dead horse.
- mok000, on 05/10/2008, -6/+27Clinton is right, the lady is wrong. Hillary _did_ work a long period for a health care reform, and the republicans demolished it. She has awesome political qualifications, but that doesn't mean she'll automatically make a better president.
She seems to be talking a lot about what she's done in the past, and not her vision of the future, and that's what's needed IMHO.
The Clintons have had their day. It's time to move on. - ProfessorSYM, on 05/10/2008, -4/+25Monica?
- tcbishop12, on 05/10/2008, -5/+25You're right. He looks awful - and combative. As an alcoholic myself (recovering with 8 years of continuous sobriety) I recognize the physical and emotional signs.
- inactive, on 05/10/2008, -3/+23What a lovely lady (the questioner)!
I too remember the promise of health care and the simple lack of competent delivery that followed. Unfortunately, it requires a fair bit of humility to learn from mistakes and change yourself. Hillary lacks it and is doomed to repeat past failures. - Srcc, on 05/10/2008, -1/+19It seems that President Clinton has it right and the lady has it wrong. I am not saying that Senator Clinton did enough health care lobbying to have some sort of magical experience that Senator Obama does not, but simply that Bill is right here. Judge for yourself with this awesome timeline PBS made: http://www.pbs.org/newshour/forum/may96/background ...
Also, the News Hour on PBS is BY FAR the best news show on tv. Investigation and facts, not sound bites and ratings. - xdevit, on 05/10/2008, -1/+19Well at least she didn't get tasered.
- Jan33, on 05/10/2008, -3/+20PA System : 1
Angry voter : 0 - Apokalyps2547, on 05/10/2008, -3/+18You call that angry?
- inactive, on 05/10/2008, -0/+14LOL you must be delusional. Enjoy the sideshow, cos that's all it is, the Dems will be fine. McCain hasn't got a hope in hell in November, even if the Dems field a hoover washing machine against him. 7 years of failed wars, cronyism, incompetence and vice from the GOP will ensure a Democratic victory. Face it, own it. This is reality.
(snicker) 'left wing socialist liberals'.. gee, I suppose they must be commies.. *****' retard, learn something about politics. - rentmitchum, on 05/10/2008, -5/+22Why do videos online need commercials? Also why do they need to advertise Pam? Who doesn't know about spraying ***** on pans makes your food not stick? Who doesn't realize Pam is a brand of that stuff? God.
- nerdvernacular, on 05/10/2008, -2/+16I think a lot of you are missing the point, the woman contested the fact that Hillary is making claims she IMPROVED health care during Bill's term in office. She may have tried, but she didn't. There was no movement towards universal health care during his time in office. Blaming Republicans doesn't change the fact that no progress was made in that arena, despite the fact that progress in that arena was promised ( I know, foolish of that woman to take a politician and his wife at their word ) And now, Hillary has taken exceptionally more money from the health care industry and its lobbyists than any other candidate. She's become a shill of the very institution she tried to fight in the early 90's.
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Once_an_Enemy_He ... - flashback99, on 05/10/2008, -3/+15When Hilary's husband has to shout at voters to tell them she has credibility, we know they are fighting a losing battle.
- ProfessorSYM, on 05/10/2008, -1/+12I got the creepy feeling that for the most part there is a caravan of "supporters" who travel with the Clintons to ignite applause at the right time. Bill had a similarly testy exchange before with someone who took him on during a speech, and he said the exact same words to the exact same effect.
- aahpandasrun, on 05/10/2008, -7/+16What happened to calm, collected, and confident Bill Clinton? He used to be a powerhouse. Now he's the guy in a wifebeater on cops.
- insllvn, on 05/10/2008, -4/+13It strikes me that Bill is getting desperate to see Hillary elected. I don't blame him. If I were married to that shrew, I wouldn't want to live with her after she lost what was supposed to be a done deal. Hell, if their marriage is the political arraignment it seems to be, than he has failed his end of the bargain, to get her elected.
- had3l, on 05/10/2008, -0/+9Thank you. I'm an Obama supporter, but finally someone non-biased with common sense on digg. Hillary has been using a lot of low tactics lately, but still, you can't deny that she indeed *did* have a conscience back in the day. Same with McCain. Isn't it weird that to be the president of the USA most people have to throw out their souls before?
- etruscan, on 05/10/2008, -3/+12...and he's nowhere near as pretty as Michelle.
- rentmitchum, on 05/10/2008, -5/+14Clinton looks like a dead horse.
- fakekevinrose, on 05/10/2008, -0/+8are you really that confused???
- flashback99, on 05/10/2008, -2/+9Voter: Hillary didn't do ***** for healthcare.
Clinton: You are wrong! We released a document. Didn't you get the memo? - jstohler, on 05/10/2008, -3/+10>>When I heard that, I was presented with a vision of a mindless field of sheep, followed by the depressing reinforcement of my growing belief that a critical mass of Americans are morons.
- SuperMoses, on 05/10/2008, -2/+9The Health industry took care of the Clintons
- megarobotguy, on 05/10/2008, -2/+9And they did....... Mostly old middle aged woman disillusion by the idea of having a female as president rather than someone that can change a nation.
- Arcan, on 05/10/2008, -0/+7Yeah, I was a little disappointed, too. It was gruff, maybe even curt, but angry is a bit of a stretch.
- byrdgang, on 05/10/2008, -1/+8Digg is not monolithic. In one article, the majority of replies are largely conservative (this doesn't happen too often, but it does happen). In another article, the majority of replies are largely liberal. This is, in part, caused by external websites with political aims linking to a particular article; visitors of those websites then come here to reflect their political opinions.
How many times do people have to point out that the same Diggers are not posting in every article? Again, Digg is not monolithic. - Mikkle, on 05/10/2008, -0/+6I'll be a homosexual for you...
- soinie, on 05/10/2008, -5/+11Bill Clinton should stick to what he does best; seducing fat unattractive political whores.
- krebcycle, on 05/10/2008, -0/+6"as long as we fight, we will win"
lol, that's the kind of logic that is ***** US IN THE ASS RIGHT NOW
We need to get people who believe this kind of ***** out of office. - jiqiren, on 05/10/2008, -16/+22Buried for blog spam. The entire blog entry is in the description! With an embedded video from CBS. What a bunch of crap.
- krebcycle, on 05/10/2008, -1/+7Thanks for the info, it's nice to get information instead of juvenile hyperbole and showmanship.
- missingdigits, on 05/10/2008, -1/+7and that's exactly how Republicans get stupid people like you to vote for them. All G. Bush had to say was "tax cuts" and he was instantly elected regardless of what a ***** moron he was. How do you like your tax cuts now?
Idiot. - JaronDiggGuy, on 05/10/2008, -0/+5You still didn't actually refute anything though, did you jetboy?
- vpshockwave, on 05/10/2008, -0/+5I don't have to digg you up either.
- Deadpixel1221, on 05/10/2008, -1/+6Why the long face Hillary?
- ballsonu2, on 05/10/2008, -8/+13Bill Clinton is a hustler, and will be the greatest hustler this country has ever seen if he can get Hillary in the white house.
- rosserfan, on 05/10/2008, -1/+6I got Benefiber tablets commerical.
- justapix, on 05/10/2008, -1/+6If you are going to ask why isn't Clinton in prison, I want to know why isn't Bush in prison!!!
- McHoffa, on 05/10/2008, -1/+6who doesn't realize pepsi is a brand of pop? yet i see ads for it everywhere....
- inactive, on 05/10/2008, -3/+7Your grammar is epic fail.
- MattDell, on 05/10/2008, -4/+8Damn... Bill's becoming an old coot! It's a damn shame Robert C. Byrd wasn't in the audience, too... we could've had a coot off!
