- vexingmodstwo, on 08/27/2008, -1/+8I think Bill is going to get up there and give this really inspirational speech and then end it with "That's why we should vote for John McCain!"
- COINTELPROAgent, on 08/27/2008, -1/+8He's just showing up Barack "Teleprompter" Obama.
- badtzmartin, on 08/27/2008, -0/+6Oh would that be awesome... Unlikely, but man oh man... (winces eyes like Bill Clinton)
- kigcoopa84, on 08/27/2008, -0/+5Ha that would be sweet
- diggFunction, on 08/27/2008, -0/+5Unlikely but I bet he will be voting for him this November
- bluto36, on 08/27/2008, -0/+5he may be a gifted speaker but when he goes red he really goes red.
- bluto36, on 08/27/2008, -0/+5i want to see the classic Bill Clinton anger. such good TV. quick Ma, get the popcorn, Bill Clinton is going to point his finger and lecture those goofy Obama worshipers.
c'mon Bill don't let me down, your Hillary's hitman now. - inactive, on 08/27/2008, -1/+5Best chuckle of the day. Kudo's!
I admit I am watching tonight, hoping for some sort of train wreck... - inactive, on 08/28/2008, -0/+3Bill nailed it tonight. His point about a Republican President and Congress for 5 years was pretty damn strong. Bush had zero veto's, until the Dem's had majority.
He isn't quite what he used to be making speeches, but he is still a hell of an orator. I gotta say, Hillary was WAY better last night than any other time that I can remember. They both put themselves back in the good graces of the party, IMO.
I don't know if I can take another speech like Obama's in Germany. If he goes way over the top like that again, I may just puke... - inactive, on 08/27/2008, -1/+4There are few things better on the political scene than Bill Clinton blowing a gasket. His nose turns all red, that finger starts wagging, and it is fun time!
- IrishJoe, on 08/27/2008, -0/+3He's relishing the attention and worry over what he might say. By not doing a walk through he gets people concerned with what might come out of his mouth and more people watching and listening to him which is what he loves. Bill Clinton will endorse Barack Obama. If he doesn't and Obama loses, Bill gets the blame and his already damaged reputation can't take it. He's miffed that he's fallen in the eyes of many Democrats, but he has no one to blame for that but himself and his own shooting his mouth off inappropriately during his wife's campaign. I'm sure he feels after what he did to her he owes her the presidency and now he's not off the hook on that account, but too bad. He knows he's got to get over himself and do what's right for the country. If he doesn't he wears the mark of Cain for the rest of time. I was going to say the scarlet letter, but he's already wearing that.
- COINTELPROAgent, on 08/27/2008, -0/+3"Did they allow Obama to use a teleprompter at all those Democratic debates?"
No. But Clinton is legendary for his ability to make speeches without practice or a teleprompter. He has almost a photographic memory when it comes to speechmaking.
And I'm betting that he feels just a little jealous that the democrats have a messiah-like figure and treat him like a liability.
There's no way he will say anything bad tonight, he's too smart for that. I think he'll do a great job and will use the opportunity to remind his party who their daddy is. - kigcoopa84, on 08/27/2008, -3/+5No that would look bad, instead they told the candidates what the questions would be with enough time to prepare.
- Lostthenfound, on 08/27/2008, -0/+2The Clintons felt like they somehow deserved the nomination. Such a sad state of affairs the political situation is for the US. The Republicans did everything they could over the past 8 years to hand over the presidency yet the dems can't even put their differences aside and focus on winning. Goes to show you that politicians are out for their own personal gain and couldn't care less about the country.

You have information that they gave all the candidates the questions prior to every debate? I had not heard that. Do you have a citation for that?
