- BabushkaBlue, on 09/13/2008, -7/+74McCain and Palin are two of the most dishonest public figures in modern history. I wouldn't trust either one of them to even carry water for me.
- TCP7, on 09/13/2008, -7/+68The Obama campaign has launched a website called McLobbyist to set the record straight on McCain's ties to lobbyists running his campaign as how this impacts the issues that are at stake in this election.
http://www.johnmccainrecord.com/mclobbyist/
What does a lobbyist controlled McCain-Palin ticket mean for you? It means lobbyists come first. On jobs, health care, energy, America’s standing in the world — lobbyists pay big bucks to make sure their special interests come first. And time and time again, McCain has given lobbyists what they paid for.
John McCain and Sarah Palin – Bought and Sold to You by Lobbyists - richirwin, on 09/13/2008, -20/+74John McCain - STOP THE LIES, *****.
- USArugula, on 09/14/2008, -6/+49FTA: "We will take no lectures from John McCain who is cynically running the sleaziest and least honorable campaign in modern Presidential campaign history," he said in an e-mail. "His discredited ads with disgusting lies are running all over the country today. He runs a campaign not worthy of the office his is seeking."
That's the fighter I'm talking about. - angeladtao, on 09/14/2008, -7/+45It's about time we saw a democratic presidential candidate show some backbone!! Sen. Obama has been too much of a gentleman before this. He needs to take off the boxing gloves and get down and dirty! When they lie, tell them they are LYING!!! What's with this is this misspeaking thing? A car misfires. People don't misspeak or if they do, the noise is more likely to come out of a different orifice. Call a lie a lie!!!
- ProKid, on 09/13/2008, -4/+35Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee
- Carv, on 09/14/2008, -7/+35I went to the rally Friday in Concord, and it's great to see him getting tougher, calling McCain out on his lies and sleazy politics. We can't make the same mistakes we did with Kerry and Gore.
- sulthernao, on 09/14/2008, -2/+30His ads have been debunked by Factcheck.org (they even had to debunk one where the lie about the factcheck.org information).

- hogfoot, on 09/14/2008, -6/+26stick it to those *****
- ytsejam29, on 09/14/2008, -7/+26Obama himself needs to start delivering those kind of quotes directly to the voters, not his surrogates in emails to the press.

- inactive, on 09/14/2008, -2/+19And tell that trollop VP nominee of yours to stop the lies as well.
- seddyei, on 09/18/2008, -3/+19Buried for one of the most moronic posts in a long time. Almost every single thing you mentioned actually WAS talked about and took up a media news cycle. Most are irrelevant and don't need to be talked about, and the ones that are relevant are lies.
But keep thinking Obama is the one who's judgment and character we can't question, and not John "BUT IM A POW" McCain. - charm803, on 09/14/2008, -2/+18" He runs a campaign not worthy of the office his is seeking."
- inactive, on 09/14/2008, -1/+16FTA: """As he spoke, the Obama campaign and the Democratic National Committee officially unveiled a campaign commercial that had begun running yesterday in swing states, castigating McCain as a tool of Washington lobbyists. "His campaign manager lobbies for corporations outsourcing American jobs," the add states, flashing an image of McCain with his campaign manager, Rick Davis. "The campaign chairman he picked last year ... a bank lobbyist," it continues, with an image of McCain and former Texas Sen. Phil Gramm. "If seven of McCain's top advisers are lobbyists, who do you think will run his White House?" the ad asks. """

Figure that out people. What exactly is the 'change' that McCain is going to bring about...... Reformers!? WTH are the reforming besides themselves? Essentially selling their souls to get the chance at being a puppet for power-mongers?
The 'big dogs' that they are going to 'reform' picked Palin for McCain. ***** that. Every time I make this argument with a McCain supporter, they either say, 'you're right, i'm prolly not going to vote, they {JM & BO} are both idiots' or 'Obama is just as guilty as McCain, so I'm voting my party line regardless' (This guy is currently on many school loans for a public university and will most likely be jobless when he graduates, if ever, personally I think he has no room to talk and his argument is weak considering his situation) - deadbaby, on 09/14/2008, -1/+15Right... age appropriate. McCain's commercials don't seem to mention that fact. Or the fact that the kids parents could opt out of the program that was teaching them how to avoid getting molested. If you really want to make that type of thing a political issue then I'm truly sorry for you. If a tax break is worth attacking someone for trying to help kids from getting molested then there really isn't much hope for your kind.
- ErickStevenson, on 09/14/2008, -6/+20Anyone Other Than McCain 08!
- deadbaby, on 09/14/2008, -3/+17NH is actually going to end up being an important state. Assuming FL & OH are gone we absolutely need NH. There will be no margin for error.
- inactive, on 09/14/2008, -3/+16The fact that McCain is even a serious contender means this country is completely *****.
- jdenzer, on 09/14/2008, -1/+14So now drawing big crowds is a good thing? When Obama does it is mindless followers means. When Palin does it, we are suppose to see it as great?
- ccdp9500, on 09/14/2008, -6/+19What's sad is as much lies and deceit the McCain campaign uses, they still have a high chance of winning, sometimes Americans makes me sad, we really need the young voters to vote in order to change America and get Obama and Biden in office!!!!!
- Azerael, on 09/14/2008, -1/+14So basically you're angry because people digg you down when you rant about arbitrary *****?
Seriously, because his middle name is Hussein does not make him a Muslim, or a terrorist. And how exactly is he supposed to be a Muslim but still in the pocket of a crazy Christian preacher? Do you people even stop to think about the ***** you spew? - somegeologist, on 09/14/2008, -0/+12Are you saying that McCain doesn’t want little kids to be taught about what pedos do? Why would Republicans not want little kids to learn this? Maybe I should call Larry Craig or Ted Haggard to get some clarification on this.
- jdenzer, on 09/14/2008, -2/+13None of that is relevant. Is that the best the far right can come up with? How about arguing the issues that this country faces. Honestly are you that stupid that you would vote against a Presidential candidate b/c of their ears, middle name, race, father, mother, etc. This is for the President of the United States. Not ***** American Idol, you jackass. Do you even care about the country you live in?
- jhuckabee, on 09/14/2008, -0/+11Hypocrisy is a core Republican value these days.
- kf2817, on 09/14/2008, -1/+12I believe you meant "losing". Maybe you should consider supporting a candidate that is pro-education. Bush's "No Child Left Behind" obviously did not include you, rogerse.
- zephyear, on 09/14/2008, -1/+11try again
http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/off_base_o ... - jhuckabee, on 09/14/2008, -2/+12I find it quite peculiar how McSame gets a slight edge in the polls on Obama and suddenly the rethugs think its over.
We've got news for you fellows! Its not gonna happen like it did in 2000 or 2004. America is waking up, and although we obviously still have some idiots among us falling for McSame's ***** lies, fortunately we outnumber the idiots this time!
Obama/Biden 2008!!! - ironhide, on 09/14/2008, -0/+10"age appropriate" sex education as in "bad touch". Now why wouldn't you want kids education in how to tell that they are being molested? Does Chris Hansen need to make a house call?
- boombye, on 09/14/2008, -0/+8So you are against teaching kids about the dangers of pedobears? Really you need to sort your priorities out.
- bongfarmer, on 09/14/2008, -8/+16In 50 days or so I could see Obama doing something epic and destroy Mccain
- charm803, on 09/14/2008, -2/+10We do get his emails. Called 'being on his email list.'
- nblsavage, on 09/14/2008, -2/+10But a lie is a lie and pretending it isn't is self-delusion, but republicans know all about that.
- uradox, on 09/14/2008, -0/+8I'd be looking at the record numbers of democrat voter registrations over a poll any day. Anyone Politian with half a brain doesn’t brag about coming out in front in a poll because they know the reality can quite often be very different.
- DeliciousWolf, on 09/14/2008, -1/+9Thank God for factcheck.org
- zephyear, on 09/14/2008, -2/+10article is from 3 days ago
mccain's gone down in polling since then
example: gallup
3 days ago, mccain had a +5 lead
today, +2 - deadbaby, on 09/14/2008, -1/+9Cool. That's how democracy works. I'm free to judge John McCain not on the fact that he is white but on the basis of his shady connections to the Keating 5 scandal, his wife's questionable character of supplying her drug addiction by stealing them away from patients, or perhaps his promises to cut taxes on the extremely rich while the poor die due to poor health care. And, of course, his desire to commit mass murder instead of diplomacy in world affairs.
We'll just have to wait and see how the numbers work out in November. - ironhide, on 09/14/2008, -0/+7"bending the truth"? Where I come from, that's called a lie.
- charm803, on 09/14/2008, -0/+7Yeah, what's this about "stretching the truth"?
Where did the media go?
It's a LIE. That simple. - ironhide, on 09/14/2008, -1/+8Oh really? I guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.

" - indiancompanion, on 09/14/2008, -1/+8apparently New Hampshire matters a lot because, when gore lost to bush in that state by a very small percentage, it set up the grand total to 271 bush, 267 gore, those 4 votes from that state could have done wonders leaving Florida irrelevant.
- roxgod666, on 09/14/2008, -5/+11Stop taking up space on the page you *****. It took me almost a second longer to post this comment then what it would have. Thanks a lot

- ironhide, on 09/14/2008, -2/+8Gotta love the comments from the repubs. Certainly shows their "bunker mentality" setting in. Screaming at the top of their lungs "'tis but a flesh wound" like the Black Knight in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" while the truth slingers cut their limbs off.
- masterdbugger, on 09/14/2008, -0/+6@jbenson2: you say these things with no backing, how republican.
