- Minarchian, on 09/05/2008, -2/+69Typical Big Brother nanny state lovers, the Republicans (and Democrats) are control freaks out to destroy dissent.
They even had the Secret Service confiscate any materials pertaining to Ron Paul.
http://digg.com/politics/Secret_Service_take_books ... - avengingturnip, on 09/05/2008, -0/+48Now this I believe. The whole reaching out to Ron Paul supporters thing sounded suspicious.
- debunkthelies, on 09/05/2008, -0/+47The 'Finger Men', miserable little robotic sellouts. If the movie V for Vendetta wasn't a prophetic example of what we are becoming I don't know what is.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+36That is absolutely incredible. Welcome to George Orwell's 1984.
- muckemuck, on 09/05/2008, -0/+30HA! An "Iraq Veterans Against the War" got through! http://digg.com/politics/Adam_Kokesh_protesting_at ...

I expected to read a story like this on the Alex Jones website, not the Washingtonpost.com !!! - stienster, on 09/05/2008, -0/+24YOU'RE an ass
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -1/+20People are becoming agitated because they're realizing it's all simply fake. The so called "top tier" candidates are merely members of the CFR and are plants. Ron Paul is a patriot and working for the people, the others are securing their position in the NWO.
- yaddayaddayoda, on 09/05/2008, -2/+19Did they really misspell the word "revocable" on the back of the ticket?
FTA:
The fine print on the back of each credential says: "This ticket is a revokable license. Tickets may be revoked from persons engaging in inappropriate or disorderly behavior, or for any other reason deemed necessary by security personnel and/or the Republican National Committee.
(No close quote either. Sloppy journalism.) - GovernmentSp00k, on 09/05/2008, -0/+16It is all a smoke & mirrors sham. The entire social order, the political parties, "intellectual' life, politics in general, are all based on monstrous myth. People have every justifiable right to be infuriated. Their country, their democratic process, Constitution and rights have been sold out right from underneath them to the highest bidder. Our American freedoms carelessly legislated away at the stroke of a pen by professional deceivers. Elections are rigged. It's all staged. They're just up their playing ball, going through the motions. It doesn't matter who gets "elected." The people don't decide the candidates anymore than Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy do. The TV media promotes THEIR choices of who they want you to select for their benefit, not yours. The "lesser of 2 evils" puppet front men are bought, sold & paid-for servants of AIPAC, loyal to corporate interest$ and 'the elite" they don't work for us, they don't represent us, they don't care about us. At all. We serfs are just expendable pawns for cannon fodder and taxes. This country was bought, sold & paid for a long time ago. The ***** they shovel around every 4 years is *meaningless*. People are waking up. The mis-leaders are scared of their false paradigm phony front crumbling like a house of cards in the wind. They will do everything within their power (and then some) to maintain the illusion and protect the lie.
It is a huge shame that we can''t elect leaders based on their intelligence.. - angusm, on 09/05/2008, -0/+15Seven years on, some people still haven't got the message. They thought that when George Bush said "You're either with us, or against us", he was only talking to foreigners.
Unity is strength. Dissent will not be tolerated. The Party is all-knowing and all-wise. - jodimcmullen, on 09/05/2008, -0/+13Try this link. It is probably edited from the original, not sure.
http://washingtontimes.com/news/2008/sep/05/st-pau ... - GovernmentSp00k, on 09/05/2008, -0/+13Ignorance is strength. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Welcome to the machine.
- V3n0M, on 09/05/2008, -0/+13If by that you mean they're there to prevent invited guests from having a say in the democratic process at a tax-money-funded event designed to silence all opposition, even within their own ranks, then yes, I agree with you.
- V3n0M, on 09/05/2008, -0/+12It's actually the Washington Times, but I did have to double-check to make sure it wasn't a satire site!
- BotchaMcCoola, on 09/05/2008, -0/+11Great job I saw it too. Too bad McCain can't be a true patriot and do what is best for his country - back in his first 22 Vietnam missions and in Iraq lately.
- JKap, on 09/05/2008, -0/+11Uncle Joe Stalin would be proud.
- thedogfatherx, on 09/05/2008, -0/+10I need to stop reading these stories in the morning on a Friday. It down right just PISSES ME OFF!

I stand corrected - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+8A white star on a black hat should make for a target that can't be missed unless the shooter is drunk!!!
- le0pardess, on 09/05/2008, -0/+8I can't view the article! Has it been removed or blacked out like everything else that is awakening?
- Nodaki, on 09/05/2008, -1/+7I am a Paul supporter and I was at the RNC Tuesday. It was implied when I was given a Guest pass that I would not be causing a disturbance. So I did not cause a disturbance but I did not cheer for their speakers. I did sneak up to the suite level and had my picture taken with the devil himself Karl Rove (incidentally he could have not been nicer).
- BrapAllgood, on 09/05/2008, -1/+6Completely off topic, but your username gives me a silly smile. Thanks. :)

thanks jodimcmullen! - georgemason01, on 09/05/2008, -1/+5The GOP ensured their own demise by excluding Ron Paul from the party. May they fall hard and painfully.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3I'd have to be pretty hammered to miss a white star on a black background.
- kingofinternet, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3if only someone took a huge ***** hammer to that huge ***** screen at the rnc:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYecfV3ubP8 - igeldard, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3That link works (for now), thanks ...
- TsuruchiBrian, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3There is one major area where Ron Paul and I differ. Ron Paul still has faith in the Republican party. I became a member of the GOP this election only to vote for Ron Paul. I had no delusions of being able to change the party from the inside. In fact it seems that even my Libertarian party is selling out to neocons as well by nominating Bob Barr.
Ron Paul cured my apathy towards politics but not towards our 2 party system. - BXRWXR, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3Oops! This link appears broken.

revokable
adj : capable of being revoked or annulled; "a revocable order"
[syn: revocable] [ant: irrevocable]
Grammer/spelling nazis don't add anything to the dialogue. Especially when they are wrong. - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2An assault on our first amendment rights is an assault on ALL Americans left and right. And I say that as a hard leftist who finds many of Ron Paul's economic and social positions foolish. But his delagtes CERTAINLY have a Bill of Rights GUARANTEED right to state their position with pins and printed material, I fear this is truly the beginning of the end of our Conditional republic.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -1/+3Why do facsist thugs always wear black? Is it an homage to Mussolini's black shirts? It's weird it's like they know they are overtly pro evil and proud of it...
- V3n0M, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2good catch!
- yaddayaddayoda, on 09/05/2008, -1/+2I stand corrected. I thought it looked wrong, I looked it up, and Google suggested that it was misspelled. I just thought it was funny that something this high-falutin' had a misspelled word. That's just embarrassing, especially since a lawyer probably wrote it.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1One party, one country, one leader, "country first," Zeig Heil. Sadly this isn't just lefty exaggeration now, but what is actually happening right before our eyes. :(

A loving Ron Paul Spambot. - evilmonkey0013, on 09/05/2008, -22/+3They're there to prevent interruptions.
If they weren't, those random protesters would have run up on stage and caused a scene. It is rather rude to interrupt someone's speech. If anything, it makes their party and their cause look bad. - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -28/+0They had reasonable cause based on some of the past antics of his supporters
