- pearcewg, on 04/10/2009, -0/+2I know that alot of people don't like Rove, but if you take a step back from his individual comments and look at Biden's history, there is a long and repeated tradition of falsehoods and exaggerations.
Now, I personally believe that Biden does these things because in his mind, they did happen that way. They are based in a little bit of truth, and then his mind alters them to be what he wants to believe, and he just says these things. And many of his statement problems are well documented, and in bipartisan circles. He's even had Obama publicly debunk his comments (makes you wonder if Obama regrets the choice).
The point: he's lying, but he doesn't know he is. So just give him a break. Just don't pay attention to anything he says. - inactive, on 04/10/2009, -0/+1Every one knows Biden is a pathological liar. It's why he was selected as V.P. You can never tell when the truth comes out of his mouth and neither can he.

Yes, we need to call them out on their big public lies like this one, but why do we act surprised? Did anyone actually expect Joe to be honest?
