- Linguo, on 09/22/2008, -11/+429You call what she did with Sean Hannity an interview? That's like calling the Harlem Globetrotters a basketball team.
- thomasmck, on 09/22/2008, -9/+302You know, McCain was a POW and for 5 years he couldn't give nor watch interviews....
- mecharabbit, on 09/22/2008, -21/+313Give her a break. She can't justify doing more interviews when there is still so much wildlife in Alaska to shoot at.
- ugottabejoken, on 09/22/2008, -23/+291SARAH PALIN -
1. Abuse of power scandal AKA troopergate, working on a cover up
2. Banning Books
3. Endangered her last baby
4. Attended 5 colleges in 6 years
5. Injected hardcore evangelical politics in non partisan role as mayor of wasilla
6. Failed with her own daughter regading abstinence and family values
7. Denies the reality of climate change.
8. Has close ties to big oil
9. Was for the pork barrel projects before she was against them
10. Wants to impose her will on women and deny them choice.
11. Believes the Earth is only 6000 years old.
12. Probably had an affair. - Proel, on 09/22/2008, -9/+182Let's say one interview, since the Hannity one hardly counts as an interview.
- apastafarian, on 09/22/2008, -10/+17080 interviews? 80!!! How much do you want this woman to lie?
- cg4et, on 09/23/2008, -5/+119This is just sexist! Girls don't have to do interviews.
- steakneggs, on 09/23/2008, -4/+106PBS poll, asking if Palin is ready to be VP
http://www.pbs.org/now/polls/poll-435.html
Please go to the site and vote. Republicans are already trying to run the voting up, and will spin it in PRs. - inactive, on 09/22/2008, -14/+116Sarah Palin is a liar.
- kebinusan, on 09/22/2008, -10/+96Republicans are trying to sell a farce named Sarah Palin
- joeseither, on 09/23/2008, -0/+57you forgot:
13. received fewer votes in Wasilla than the homecoming queen at a large high school - sfgamergirl, on 09/23/2008, -5/+61I'm so sick and tired of this broad... she is a total farce and insult to liberated and independent women. She's on a mission to take women back to the dark ages.
- Ytrewqhgfdsa, on 09/23/2008, -7/+59They want Biden to be at as much of a disadvantage possible during the VP debate.
Before you digg me down, consider this.
1) The debate won't be about issues, it will be about talking points.
2) McCain's camp has lots of information to form a strategy against Biden, while Obama's camp has next to no information to prepare a strategy against Palin.
3) Since she is still relatively unknown by most people, the expectations are not too high. As long as she sounds good repeating the talking points handed to her, she will come off as the winner.
The more Palin gives interviews the more it will be used against her and the more people know her the more expectations they will have on her performance.
I tend to think that Biden will do well regardless, but the only reason they even let her have the "2" interviews so far was to prevent people from saying, "Not ready to be interviewed, not read to lead." Any more interviews would just be harmful to them. - elliotys, on 09/23/2008, -2/+51someone should ask her about dinosaurs. . .
- Gabberwok, on 09/23/2008, -1/+45Jon Stewart had a better comparison... it starts at around 3:25...

- SSPink, on 09/23/2008, -5/+43The next time I'm eating a woman out, I'm going to call it an 'interview' and insist she call me Sean.
- AndrewDB, on 09/23/2008, -4/+41To paraphrase Bill Maher: Both of the interviews that Palin gave were more in depth than the VP meeting between her and McCain.
- Kali075, on 09/23/2008, -0/+35In response to 8
apparently she wants to take Polar Bears off the threatened species list so that it's easier to drill in Alaska. - rednip, on 09/23/2008, -0/+3314. As mayor, women who filed rape complaints, were billed for the evidence gathering.
15. She remodeled her town office to the tune of $50,000 dollars, apparently redoing it a couple of times. - mark925, on 09/23/2008, -2/+34She'll do another interview as soon as she has more lies to tell.
- evae, on 09/23/2008, -6/+36man, i love this guy. it's sad that he's not getting any play.
- TBombadil, on 09/23/2008, -1/+30holy ***** 51% 'yes'? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ***** son! ima run for President! AHAHAHA
- mr.hostility, on 09/23/2008, -2/+30In what respect, Charlie?
- cnguyen, on 09/23/2008, -4/+30I love me some Biden! ..seems like such a good guy.
- Snap65, on 09/23/2008, -3/+27I don't generally hope bad for people but this beeotch has to GO. I am betting and hoping that the affair is true. Just imagine what the faces of the GOP will look like? Also imagine the record profits Kodak will be posting?
- meese, on 09/23/2008, -3/+26The important thing about this is getting lost:
We simply don't know what Palin thinks on 95% of the issues that matter. Does she have any substantive views of her own? Maybe, mabye not. But until she gives not 1 or 2 but 20 or 30 interviews, we won't be able to answer that. And more than interviews, she needs to do unfiltered press conferences and town halls (without prescreening voters).
Given that McCain has a 25% chance of dying or being incapacitated in office if elected, I'd say that's an enormous risk we're taking. It means that unelected advisers to Palin (who are in fact former Bush admin officials) will be running the show. - MicrosoftAccess, on 09/23/2008, -3/+262. Should never have been introduced
4. Ya what WERE the reasons? She hasn't seemed to tell us. - TBombadil, on 09/23/2008, -4/+26***** if my VP were that dumb, I wouldn't let her talk to people either. duuuurrr i no know wut dur Bush doctrine Is No blinky.
- stevenr21, on 09/23/2008, -3/+256. doesn't practice what she preaches.
12. corrupt morals. - inactive, on 09/23/2008, -1/+23I think the qualifications are to not be a ***** religious nutcase and a moron.
- inactive, on 09/23/2008, -1/+2212: Hope there's a video
- mups, on 09/23/2008, -2/+23Voters need to boycott Republicans until they stop acting like intellectually dishonest douchebags.
Maybe you missed the last 8 years, but it was actually MSM cheerleading of the Bush administration that helped enable support for the Iraq invasion. So let's not go there with your absolute ***** about the media.
Palin is afraid to answer questions, Biden isn't. The end. - nycjap, on 09/23/2008, -2/+22That's OK. From what's been gleaned so far, she's got nothing to say that's worth listening to anyway. Better to keep her in her current role: McCain's Barbie doll, standing in front, while he just keeps pulling the string that makes her spew her 5 talking points, over and over again.
- Taiyoryu, on 09/23/2008, -6/+262) Palin never banned books. Just inquired how the librarian would react to such a request. Then turned around and tried to have the librarian fired. The mere question of banning books is bad enough in my book though.
12) Rumor. Irrelevant, unless that's part of her platform. That's why #6 is relevant.
Please adjust your list accordingly. - mushoo, on 09/23/2008, -0/+19...except for them propaganda vide...oh that's right torture didn't work back then, but it does now, and by now I mean starting earlier this year...
- sandaboy, on 09/23/2008, -5/+24Makes sense because Biden is not a joke...Palin is.
- duckley, on 09/23/2008, -4/+22
When will the corporate media ADMIT that Sarah Palin is really just another "Bearded Lady" in McCain's circus act?
The media are FASCINATED with her, just like gawkers at a bad pile-up on the expressway.
And she DOES generate advertising revenue galore!
But she REALLY should be shown for what she is:
A sad excuse for a president-in-waiting, to lead our country, so desperately in trouble on so many fronts.
TELL THE TRUTH. - TBombadil, on 09/23/2008, -0/+18Jesus rode a T-Rex named Toothy, while wielding a flaming sword which he used to mainly for cooking.
- Bith8654, on 09/23/2008, -2/+20So two short interviews is supposed to be enough material to give voters a good sense of who they are voting for? I'm not really buying it.
- jayll, on 09/23/2008, -3/+21Charlie... what do you mean
- inactive, on 09/23/2008, -8/+25Hey she needs to learn how to lie.
I guess she did not pay much attention during her Christian upbringing. - FazS, on 09/23/2008, -3/+19Republicans are playing a good game. They are keeping her away from the press so that we all assume she is totally stupid, and lowering the world's expectations. So when she does interviews, and she is average, she will seem like she is competent. It's the oldest trick in the book for making mediocre look good.
- lamiaconfitor, on 09/23/2008, -7/+22McCain does not have "far, far, far right politics." Palin does, but that is because she is a soulless shill. McCain adopted the far right agenda for the sake of winning the presidency. and your idiotic rant with names from history's annals of shame does not spare your argument its due judgment; you are a high school sophomore with an uncanny awareness of history/ possession of an encyclopedia... Nothing more.
- LilRabbitFooFoo, on 09/23/2008, -0/+15They are setting the game up for low expectations, so that if Palin just handles the debate as well as a retard like Bush did, she'll get hyped by the spin doctors as the second coming. It's all a set-up.
- TigerStar337, on 09/23/2008, -4/+18I don't know why the GOP would not let Sarah do interviews. She has so much experience.
- meese, on 09/23/2008, -0/+14Actually, I know Indian people who think he's awesome. Seriously.
He just is of a different generation, when folks said stuff that was less PC.
His actions show where his heart is - he's fought for civil rights time and again throughout his career. - enantiodromia, on 09/23/2008, -1/+15not ***** insane should be one of them
- OddMoniker, on 09/23/2008, -7/+19Biden seems like the kind of guy I'd like to have a beer with.
